   Bulk orders or the entire quantity will be placed only on bidders who have successfully supplied the same or similar items of value not less than Rs. 4,33,000/- in a single purchase order to Southern Railway, any other Zonal Railway/PU, or Central/State Government Departments, PSUs and documentary evidence like RITES/RDSO/TPI IC, R.Notes, CRN, Completion certificate must be furnished along with their offer evidencing the execution of such purchase orders in the last 5 calendar years, including the current calender year up to date of tender opening. Similar items: Drones of the Micro category or higher.

   (1) Preferably manufacturers should participate. In case of firms other than OEMs participating in the tender, they must submit tender specific Authorization from OEM or valid dealership certificate from OEM along with their offer failing which their offers will not be considered. (2) OEMs can authorize and give Tender Specific Authorization to its Agent / Dealers to quote on their behalf provided the vendor takes full responsibility for the quality of the material including warranty obligation.Please refer para 3.4 of Part-B of Southern Railway Tender Conditions attached with this tender.

4. 3.1

   1. EMD shall be 2% of the estimated tender value and shall be taken from all bidders for contract value above Rs. 25 Lakh subject to the applicable exemptions. For details please refer 2.0 Part A of Southern Railway Tender Conditions available under the mentioned link in the tender. 2. Authorized dealers are advised to remit the EMD amount for consideration of the offer.

   (1) SECURITY DEPOSIT (SD) shall be 5 % of total value of contract and shall be taken from all vendors for contract value above Rs. 25 Lakh subject to the applicable exemptions. For details please refer 10.0 Part A of Southern Railway Tender Conditions available under the mentioned link in the tender. The same shall be returned to the supplier after submission of an ePBG to the consignee, equivalent to 5% of the value of the stores, towards warranty obligations. (2) In case of submission of Security Deposit in the form of Bank Guarantee, please refer Annexure-5 (page 55-56) of Southern Railway Tender Conditions available under the mentioned link, for the PROFORMA. (3) Security Deposit should remain valid for a minimum period of 60 days beyond the date of completion of all the contractual obligations of the supplier.

   Submission of Security deposit before release of PO is only acceptable. Requests for deduction of Security deposit from firm's first bill or any other contract's running bill is not acceptable.

   Please enter the percentage of local content in the material being offered. Please enter 0 for fully imported items, and 100 for fully indigenous items. The definition and calculation of local content shall be in accordance with the Make in India policy as incorporated in the tender conditions.

   Validity of offers: Offers should be valid for 90 days after closing date of tender. Any offer having lesser validity shall be deemed as commercially unresponsive and will be summarily rejected.
