Excavation in trenches n exc 1.5 mtr wide and n.exc 1.5 mtr deep for pipe line in any type of soil, getting out and leveling of bottom surface to required level, complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in , including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25cm thick, complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material from site to a distance not exc 50 mtr away and depositing where directed not exc 1.5 mtr from the starting point, complete all as specified and directed

Taking up old cast iron water mains 200mm bore (dia) with all fittings with spigot and socket ends and lead joints inclunding burning out joints etc , complete all as specified and directed

Taking up old cast iron water mains 150mm bore (dia) with all fittings with spigot and socket ends and lead joints inclunding burning out joints etc, complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up old cast iron water mains 100mm bore (dia) with all fittings with spigot and socket ends and lead joints inclunding burning out joints, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix lever operated Wafer butterfly valve IS-13095 ,PN-1.6,150mm bore single disc type with complete accessories such as rubber gasket, bolts (full threded), nuts & washers including joints for the following sizes complete all as specified and directed including dismantling and taking down of old unserviceable valve from existing position , complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix Brass Spindle for sluice valve of size 250 mm including dismantling and taking down of old unserviceable spindle , complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix Brass Spindle for sluice valve of size 200 mm including dismantling and taking down of old unserviceable spindle , complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix Brass Spindle for sluice valve of size 150 mm including dismantling and taking down of old unserviceable spindle , complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix Brass Spindle for sluice valve of size 100 mm including dismantling and taking down of old unserviceable spindle , complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling existing unserviceable valve pits and construction of new brick masonry valve pits of size 1200x1200x1200mm (internal dimension) with brick work in cement mortar (1:4) 40mmx40mm x6 mm angle iron frame ,MS handle 300mm long, bent to shape and riveted to MS sheet including excavation and earth work, concrete work 3.15 mm thick MS sheet cover with locking arrangement hinges and handle rendering work, painting to all steel surfaces with two coats red oxide primer , complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing cement concrete type D2(1:4:8) using 40 mm graded stone aggregate in foundation of pole for supporting of pipe line , complete all as specified and directed.

Note 1 :- The quoted rate is deemed to be include the following:- (i) Arrangement of suitable Pump sets for dewatering at the time of attending break down (ii) Necessary labour / trade men for attending break down. (iii) does not include Labour element required for fixing CI/DI/MS pipes, specials, fittings etc. Note 2 :- M&L for Lead joints, supply only CI / DI / MS pipes, specials, fittings will be measured and paid seperately under relevant items of BOQ.

Supply and fix Cast Iron Air Release valve 200 mm bore, conforming to IS -14845 with double ball air release valve, the small orifice releasing air at the working pressure, the large orifice for dealing with large volume of air during pipe filling and empting. The body, pressure cover and splash cover are of graded cast iron, carefully machined and jointed. For small orifice valve , balla are rubber, air vent orifices of brass, screwed inlet nipple of gun metal. Large orifice valves have balls of vulcanite closing on rubber seating backed with leather rubber gasket, bolts (full threded), nuts & washers including joints complete all as specified and directed including dismantling and taking down of old unserviceable CI air release valve from existing position , complete all as specified and directed..

Surface dressing in soft /loose soil not exeeding 15 cm deep, across the pipe lines etc, and including site clearence, cutting and cleaning of branches / bushes / plants / grass obstructing the pipe lines / valves / chambers / sumps / OHTs on either sides and water supply Installation area including disposal of materials up to a distance not exceeding 50 m , complete all as specified and directed. Note:- The contract sum shall be calculated by deducting the amount shown in Credit Schedule attached to this tender, from total amount of Schedule 'A'/BOQ
