ORDINARY SOIL (SS20B) Earth work excavating and depositing on bank with initial lead of 10m & initial lift of 2m in Sand, silt or other loose soil, wet sand or silt not under water, light black cotton soil, sandy loam and ordinary soil including excavated earth (SS20B)

Filling of foundations and basement with M-sand in layers of not more than 15 cms. thick each well watered to saturation and consolidated including cost and conveyance of all materials, incidental charges etc., complete.

Cement Concrete (1:4:8) using 40 mm ( 0.54 cu.m), 20mm (0.27 cu.m) and 12 mm (0.09 cu.m) nominal size hard broken granite crushed metal from any source conforming to the relevant ISI standards for foundations etc., laid in layers of not more than 15 cms thick well compacted including curing, ,machine mixing, cost and conveyance of all materials etc., complete.

Filling with useful available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, sides of foundations and basement with initial lead in layers not exceeding 15cm thick, consolidating each deposited layer by watering and ramming including cost and conveyance of water to work site and all operational, incidental, labour charges, hire charges of T&P etc., complete for finished item of work. Note: Cost of transportation of good quality earth has not been included. Only labour for carrying carted earth with a lead of 50m to the foundation pits has been taken in the rate. The cost of carted earth / sand may be worked out separately if the same is not available from the adjoining area.

Supply and placing of M 25 Design Mix Concrete corresponding to IS 456 using concrete mixer using of 20 mm HBG crushed metal 0.530 cu.m (707 kgs),. 10 mm HBG crushed metal, 0.362 cu.m (471 kgs) , sand 0.407 cu.m (616 kgs.) and cement 380 kgs with water cement ratio of 0.48 ( 182.40 ltrs/ cu.m of CC)etc., to site and including sales & other taxes on all materials including all operational, incidental and labour charges such as machine mixing, vibrating, laying concrete, curing etc., complete with cement from standard suppliers approved by the department but including cost of centering, shuttering charges and excluding cost of steel and its fabrication charges for finished item of work (APSS No. 402).

Note : The design mix shall be got designed by furnishing the information required as per clause 19.1.1 &19.1.2 of IS 456-2000 by the contractor at his own cost and get approved from the competent authority before execution. The cement considered for above M25 grade concrete is 380 kgs/cu.m and the rate is arrived accordingly in the estimate. After the mix is designed and approved, if there is any variation in the quantity of cement, over the cement content adopted in the estimate, the same will be considered and paid/recovered at estimate rate + T.P ( Either increase or decrease in quantity adopted in the estimate). Payment will not be made for variation in the quantity of other materials such as coarse & Fine aggregates.

RCC M- 20 Design mix using 20mm HBG crushed metal 0.480 cu.m , 10mm HBG crushed metal 0.320 cu.m , sand 0.400 cu.m and cement 350 kg with water cement ratio of 0.53 (185.5 Lit per cu.m of CC ) etc. horizontal plain sunshades or lofts projecting from the face of the wall 65mm average thickness,80mm thick at the face of the wall and 50mm thick at the free end and cast monolithically with the lintels or tailed to the full thickness of the wall where there are no lintels using 20mm size graded machine crushed hard granite metal (coarse aggregate) from any source conforming to the relevant ISI standards including cost and conveyance of all materials like cement, fine aggregate (sand) coarse aggregate, water etc., to site and including all operational, incidental and labour charges such as machine mixing, laying concrete, curing , etc.,complete, but excluding cost of centering charges and excluding cost of steel and its fabrication charges for finished item of work. -do- 0.60 m width.

Providing High Yield Strength deformed (HYSD)/ Thermo mechancially treated (TMT) steel bars of specified grade (as per IS 1786 - 2008) of different diametres for RCC works, including labour charges for straightening, cutting, bending to required sizes and shapes, placing in position with cover blocks of approved materials and size and tying and lap splicing with binding wire of 18 SWG, forming grills for reinforcement work as per approved designs and drawings, including cost and conveyance of steel bars including all wastages such as over laps, couplings, chairs, spacer bars including cost and conveyance of binding wire, cover blocks and all incidental, operational, labour charges such as cutting, bending, placing in position, tying including sales and other taxes on all materials etc., complete for finished item of work in all floors. (APSS NO.126) (In the absence of 18G binding wire,2 nos of 20G binding wire in tandem are to be strictly adhered). Note: Unless otherwise fabrication and placement of steel, no pre-pament shall be made against the supply of steel reinforcement

Construction of Brick Masonry in CM (1:6) using Second Class Ground Moulded Chamber Burnt Bricksof size (9" x 41/2" x 3") including curing, cost and conveyance of all materials as directed during execution and complying with standard specifications etc., complete.

Construction of 110 mm thick in CM (1:4) using Second Class Ground Moulded Chamber Burnt Bricksof size (9" x 41/2" x 3") including curing, cost and conveyance of all materials etc,. Complete

Supplying and fixing in position of 30 mmthick Flush door shutters, solid bond wood block board type with commercial ply on both faces of standard make conforming to IS:2202 with hot pressed bonded with liquid phenol formaldehyde with rebate cutting, Single leaf using Best Indian Teak wood frames of size 75mm x 100mm without threshold plate, including cost of M.S "Z" Hold fasts of 230 x 50 x 6mm, M.S Powder coated Butt hinges of 125 x 65 x 2.12mm, screws, nails, etc., complete, (excluding cost of other fixtures which will be paid separately but including labour charges for fixing the fixtures).

Solid PVC Door Shutters using 19 Gauge 19mm MS square tubes for styles and outer frames. 15mm MS square tubes for top, lock and bottom rails. The steel tubes shall be covered with 5mm thick solid PVC Sheets. Shutter using 5mm thick solid PVC Sheets for panelling shall rigidly fixed in position including necessary furniture and fittings. The over all size of styles shall be 50mm x 30mm. The over all size of top rail, lock rail and bottom rail shall be 75mm x 30mm. The over all size of frames shall be 50mm x 45mm with suitable rabate for housing the shutter

Solid panel PVC door with frame

Providing and fixing factory made uPVC white colour sliding glazed window up to 1.50 m in height dimension comprising of uPVC multi-chambered frame with in-built roller track and sash extruded profiles duly reinforced with 1.60 ± 0.2 mm thick galvanized mild steel section made from roll forming process of required length (shape & size according to uPVC profile), appropriate dimension of uPVC extruded glazing beads and uPVC extruded interlocks, EPDM gasket, wool pile, zinc alloy (white powder coated) touch locks with hook, zinc alloy body with single nylon rollers (weight bearing capacity to be 40 kg), G.I fasteners 100 x 8 mm size for fixing frame to finished wall and necessary stainless steel screws etc. Profile of frame & sash shall be mitred cut and fusion welded at all corners, including drilling of holes for fixing hardware's and drainage of water etc. After fixing frame the gap between frame and adjacent finished wall shall be filled with weather proof silicon sealant over backer rod of required size and of approved quality, all complete as per approved drawing& direction of Engineer-in-Charge inclusive of cost of Single / double glass panes, wire mesh and silicon sealant . Note: For uPVC frame and sash extruded profiles minus 5% tolerance in dimension i.e. in depth & width of profile shall be acceptable. Variation in profile dimension in higher side shall be accepted. But no extra payment on this account shall be made.

Flats, square rods, angles sheets etc., of approved design including necessary cuttings, bending fabrication, welding, grinding and finishing smooth including painting the grills with Two coats with Synthetic enamel paint Gr-I over a Primary coat (Red oxide metal primer) (total three coats) of approved make and colour including cost of making the holes into RCC or masonry works and making good the same wherever necessary, including cost and conveyance of all materials, incidental charges etc., complete.

Finishing the sides of walls with Ist quality Glazed red or white full body ceramic wall tiles of size 300 x 450 mm / 320 mm x 400 mm and thickness 6 mm 1st quality conforming to IS:13711, IS:13712, IS:13630 (Parts 1 to 15) of any colour and finish in all shades and designs of approved colour and brands including pointing the joints with the same colour of cement by mixing the same colour pigment in white cement and over a bed of C.M.(1:3), 12 mm thick & Cement slurry of 33 Kg/10sq.m shall be used for fixing bed tiles including cost and conveyance of all materials, curing, incidental charges etc., complete (No separate plastering shall be paid to the walls)

Flooring with Antiskid floor tiles 1st quality of all series & shades (as per manufacture specification), set over base coat of cement mortar (1:6) 20 mm thick over CC bed already laid or RCC roof slab, including white cement slurry of honey like consistency spread @ 3.30 kgs per sq.m. jointed with neat cement to full depth mixed with pigment of matching shade, including cost and conveyance of all materials like flooring slab, cement, sand and water etc., complete, for finished item of work.

Supply of Non-skid red or white full body Ceramic floor tiles of Size 300 mm x 300 mm and thickness between 7-8 mm and 1st quality conforming to IS:13711, IS:13712, IS:13630 (Parts 1 to 15) of any colour and finish in all shades and design.

Finishing the flooring with polished Shahabad Stone Slabs 20mm thick with Machine Cut Edges of size below 2'0 x 2'0 set over base coat of CM (1:6) 20 mm thick over already laid CC bed/RCC Roof Slab, including neat cement slurry of honey like consistency spread @ 3.3 kgs per sq.m. & Jointed with neat cement to full depth including curing, cost & conveyance of all materials like cement, sand, water and flooring stones, labour charges for dressing of flooring stones etc., complete for finished item of work.

Providing weather proof course with Screeding concrete in CC(1:2:4), 25mm average thickness using 6 to 10mm nominal size HBG crushed metal chips, screeding duly embedding 24G chicken mesh with necessary overlap etc.., and finishing the surface neatly and rounding the edges at parapet walls, columns etc., including cost of chicken mesh, including cost of all materials and conveyance of all materials etc., complete as directed during execution.
