Yearly Routine of WB-306

H-01: Docking/slipping and undocking/unslipping of work boat wb-306 (at Port Blair) for underwater painting jobs including following:- (a) Cleaning with fresh water hydro jet washing of complete underwater hull and appendages to be carried out on slipping of work boat. Joint survey is to be undertaken with class surveyor, yard, ss and paint rep post docking / sleeping of boat. (b) Surface preparation and painting of entire underwater hull including boot top area, underwater appendages and 05 nos. Out let and inlet grating to be carried out as coating scheme “CSJ-5” as mentioned in CGBR-382 in presence of class surveyor and paint rep and report to be rendered. Scope of work are as follows:- (i) Remove all existing coating, up to gel coat. (ii) Remove the gel coat layer with sandpaper with grit 120-150 micron dft. (iii) Apply gel shield 200, recommended thickness is 270 micron dft (iv) Apply antifouling as mentioned coating scheme “CSJ-5”.) Total area 80 sq meters. Qty of paint-100 ltrs approx. All paint and gel coat as per paint scheme in CGBR-382 – yard supply. H-02: Rudder/propeller clearance is to be measured in presence of class surveyor. Necessary gland packing is to be carried out. H-04: Weather deck and superstructure visually examined for any damage / crack and same to be repaired if any. Surface preparation to be carried out and post examination 02 final coat of paint to be applied as per appendix ‘4d’ of CGBR-382. Total area- approx 56 sq meter. Qty of paint- 18 ltrs. Existing paint M/s PPG Asian paints. Paint yard supply. Post completion of painting CG embalm, blue strips and other auxiliary symbols to be restored/re-painted.
