REPAIR TO WATER SUPPLY NETWORK INCLUDING PIPELINE, VALVE CHAMBERS AND CONNECTED E/M WORKS SERVICES AT TECHNICAL AREA UNDER GE (AF) BARRACKPORE

Material and labour for seven stage cleaning and sterilization of inside the RCC over head tank of capacity 50000 gallons through bacteriological treatment by using TERBAC G5, TERBAC G65 and ULTRA VOILET RAY complete all as specified and directed. Steps for seven stages are as under :- First Stage- To drain out the water by using exit valve or high capacity dewatering system. Second Stage- Cleaning all the algae formation inside the tank by using TERBAC G5 a laboratory tested branded chemical of the company. Third Stage- Scrubbing the walls of the tanks with mechanized scrubber & fresh water cleaning by high speed jet pump. Fourth Stage- First bacteria screening is sterilization by using TERBAC-G5 a Govt laboratary certified branded halogen compound. Fifth Stage- Cleaning the floor of water tank by heavy duty industrial vaccum cleaner. Sixth Stage- Second bacteria screening and sterilizing method by using ultra voilet ray within the tank and kills all suspended bacteria. Seventh stage- Cleaning and third bacteria screening is to sterlize the floor of the water tank by using laboratory certified, branded strong oxidizing agent TERBAC-G65. Note :- (a) Work will be carried through specialized agency from one of the below given makes. (b) Company will submit Govt/ NABL laboratory test certificate of TERBAC-G5, TERBAC-G65, fix the sticker mentioning the date of cleaning & name of site and also provide, certificate confirming the completion of sterlization of water tanks mentioning the name of station and date of cleaning. All the cleaning & sterlization staffs should be under accidental insurance coverage. (c) Any damage occured to the tank during the process of cleaning the tank shall be repaired without any extra cost. (d) The quoted rate shall include for guarantee of a period of One year from the certified date of cleaning. (e) All debris and waste material obtained during cleaning of tank shall be disposed at a location decided by Engineer -in- Charge without any extra cost. Material and labour for construction of brick masonry valve pit of size 1200x1200x1200mm (internal dimension) with one brick thick masonary work in CM (1:4), PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation concrete including PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in bedding and coping 10mm thick cement plaster in cement mortar (1:4) internally and externally upto 15 cm below ground level providing valve pit 50x50x6mm angle iron frame all round the fixed point by means of 4 Nos hold fast 150mm long made out of flat iron 40 x 6 mm embedded in PCC block (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) of size 230 x200 x100mm. including provision of hinges welded with angle iron frame and mild steel cover 3 mm thick, mild steel handle of suitable and size welded with mild steel cover and suitable locking arrangement and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red-oxide primer including necessary excavation work in soft/ loose soil including dismantling of unserviceable existing valve pit complete all as shown in Drawing No AF/TD/240/15 of sheet 1/2 & 2/2 and directed.

Supply and fix in repair CI sluice valve size 200 mm dia PN 1.6 conforming to IS-14846 flanged end complete with iron wheel head and stainless steel spindle complete all as specified and directed.
