Item Breakup - B-NON SOR ITEMS

Dismantling corroded, perforated members like main angles of trussel, diagonal angles, bracing angles, Tees, flats, channels, main girder angles, gussets, bottom main angles etc. at any location as directed by the Engineers or site in charge under traffic and power block if required during day/night time. The rate includes contractors own labour, all tools and tackles, equipment, machineries required for the work like bolts and nuts, washer, gas [DA and Oxygen], paint, electrodes etc. including any type of scaffolding expenses. The rate also includes stacking of released materials and transport the same [which qty. not to be further used] to Dy. CMM/Halisahar by contractors own arrangement.

Unloading girder/components form Railway BFR/Trailor by manual method by the side of railway on the temporary staging. The rate shall include the cost of making of temporary staging, lowering the girder from the staging, with all tools and plants for unloading the girder on level base. NOTE-14-05-2010 a) CC Cribs and wooden sleepers as per requirement will be supplied by the Railway free of cost at the Railway store or bridge sit where the stock holder after purpose of the work is over b) The rate will include the cost of transportation of all materials including Railway materials with all leading, loading and unloading to complete the work in all respect.

Supply and laying of average 50mm thick cum Epoxy Resin mortar film for seating of precast bed block with SIKADOR-53(UF) mortar(SIKA-make) etc complete in all respect.

Hiring charge for one 5 KVA D. G. Set Hour including fuel, lubricating oil, operation and maintenance with lighting arrangements by 06 nos 500 watt halogen with fitting complete and 2 nos F.I. Fittings 50 watt point fixing complete in all respect. SEALDAH DIVISION-ENGINEERING/EASTERN RLY

Supplying and driving hard wood pile 5 to 7 Metre m. long without joint of 125 mm average dia. for protection of bank slope if required. The rate includes supplying and erecting derrick and monkies for driving pile in any type of soil. The rate include costs of all tools and plants and material, labour, lead, lift and two coats of coal tar paint complete in all respect.

Assistance to Railway crane working during Hour day/night for removing of existing girder for placement of bridge, slab, over pier /abutment in traffic block by employing at least 16 labours for 8 hours shift. Labour should be present at the site till completion of the traffic block.

Trolleying of PSC sleeper with all labours, Each lead ,lift, tools and plant as directed by site in charge of railway. Only dip lorry will be supplied by the railway on temporary basics .The work will be done strictly under railway representative supervision.

Trolleying rail by rail dolly up to 1 km or Each part thereof including crossing of lines, platform ,ascend, descend, keeping without infringement as per instruction of site in-charge.

Cutting of rails 90R/52kg/60 kg inside or Each outside of the track for proving gap in the rail section.

Drilling holes in 90R/52kg/60kg rail inside Numbers and outside of track for provision of fish bolt.

Dewatering by mechanical pumping of HP Hour water [not run by electricity] caused due to spring tidal of river seepage, broken, water, mains or drains etc including fuel and operating staff.

Making water tight coffer dam /Earthen cum platform by any means i.e. Earth work or polythene/Cement bags filled with sand or earth and retained in normal slope or ballah piling as necessary by any other means to a particular space e.g. in excavation etc. to enable the space to be dewatered. The rate also includes removal of earthen platform and cleaning work site up to the entire satisfaction of site engineer after the work is completed. Prior to start the work written approval of the engineer in charge should be obtained before operating this item.

Supply of empty cement bags and filling up Each silver sand /Loose soil etc as per instruction of site in charge of railway.

Welding of rail joint in situ on running lines Each under traffic blocks in day/night time including supply of required petrol and other consumable, labours to make proper alignment of rail and leveling the same for thermit welding of joints of all rails of any length of any type.PF sleeper and finishing the welded joints on top and gauge face as per instruction laid down in IRPWM and welding manual under direction and with entire specification of the site in charge. Spreading of stone ballast supplied in cum above item from stack duly passed by sectional Assistant Engineer with all lead, lift, as per requirement as directed by site in charge by railway.

Reinforced cement concrete M-35 [Mixed cum design is to be submitted by the contractor and got approved by competent authority of Railway Department before starting the work as per latest version of IS: 456 with cement, coarse sand and stone chips for R.C.C jacketing to abutments, piers, extension of piers and abutment, construction of bed block in situ etc. complete in all respect according to approved drawing of CE duly compacted with proper grading including machine mixer and mechanical vibrator( mix design to be submitted by the contractor and get approved by railway before starting the work). The rate shall include lead, lift, decent, carriage, handling, stacking and crossing the railway track where ever required. The rate includes the cost of hire charges/supplying and fixing steel/water proof ply wood shuttering etc. with removal of the same after complete curing. The rate also includes labours, materials, making level and non-shrinkable hard surface for laying concrete including cost of curing for 21 days with provision of water by arranging temporary tube wells with all lead, lift, etc. and other incidental charges. The rate will include cost of cement and all materials except steel reinforcement which will be paid separately under relevant items.

Cutting and dismantling of first class brick cum work in the bridge piers abutments and wing wall, arches, during pre block and block period. The brick work to be chislled up horizontally or chiselling up from top as directed by the railway site in-charge. During the cutting of brick work all necessary precaution to be taken for safe running of the railway traffic and maintaining safety of the sound part of the structure .all labours, materials ,tools and plants required for the work to be supplied by the contractor including all lead ,lift and crossing the track. Disposal of the garbage at scheduled location etc as directed by the site in charge of the railway.

Supply of 10mm thick commercial felt Sqm dipped in coal tar [in squeezed to 3.00mm thick under load] including placing and fixing of the same below the bed plates during traffic block at lifted condition of the existing/new girder. SEALDAH DIVISION-ENGINEERING/EASTERN RLY

Dismantling of existing track including Track segregating and stacking of released metre components such as rails, sleepers, fittings etc. at site as per instruction of Engineer- in-charge or his representative. All dismantled materials like sleepers, fittings, plates etc. except rails are to be deposited to concerned PWIs store or as instructed by Site-in-charge. The rate is inclusive of all tools and plants, labours, all lead, lift, transportation complete in all respect and no extra payment will be made on any account for this work.

Linking of track 90R/52KG rails with Track old/new materials along the original metre alignment as per IRPWM on any type of sleeper with [M+7] density including complete fittings ensuring correct spacing of sleepers, squaring of sleepers, maintaining correct gauge, alignment and longitudinal level, super elevation of curved tack. The rate should be inclusive of linking of rails if required, provision of correct expansion gap and puling back of the rails. The rate should also include leading of all material up to a distance of 100 M and supply of all consumable stores like grease, oil, paint for giving spacing mark and SE etc. All works to be completed as per instruction of Engineer-In-Charge or his site representative including one round of packing for safe passage of train.

Supply of stone ballast 50mm size of cum approved quality duly stacked as directed and specify by sectional Assistant Engineer near the bridge site with all lead, lift, transportation, leveling of ground for stacking as directed by sectional Assistant Engineer. Total 27346385.07
