REPAIR / MAINTENANCE OF WATER SUPPLY DISTRIBUTION PIPE LINE INCLUDING CLEANING OF OVERHEAD TANKS, OPEN WELL, BORE WELL ALONG WITH CERTAIN OTHER CONNECTED WORKS IN TECHNICAL AREA AT AF-I UNDER GE (AF) JAMNAGAR NO.2

M&L for cleaning of RCC overhead tank at various location at (ATC, MT garrage, Sqn yard, tropo) of capacity 10000 Ltrs by continues dewatering till the complete water is removed from the overhead tank by using suitable capacity non clog diesel engine pump set and cleaning of all the accumulated sediments, sludge and foreign particles by using required chemical as per IS standard up to bottom of overhead tank & removing the same to a distance exc 250 metre but not exceeding 500 metre and depositing where directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for cleaning of RCC UG sump at various locations inside tech area continues dewatering till the complete water removal from the UG sump by using suitable capacity non clog diesel engine pump set and cleaning of all the accumulated sediments, sludge and foreign particles up to bottom of UG sump & removing the same to a distance exc 250 metre but not exceeding 500 metre and depositing where directed by Engr-in-Charge for the following locations:-

(a) New WSA fire fighting pump house of capacity 150000 Ltrs

(b) Hanger No-1, 2, 3, 4, Tropo of cap up to 50000 Ltrs

Note for UG sump:- (i) Dewatering process shall be continuous as per working hrs. Provn of standby arrangement of pump on failure of working pump set shall be arranged by contractor without any extra cost. (ii) Adequate skilled man power shall be employed for cleaning. (iii) All protective arrangement/instrument during cleaning and dewatering shall be provided shall be deemed to be included in the cost of cleaning. (iv) Work shall be executed by experienced persons in trade and all safety precautions as per CP norms will be ensured during cleaning of open well/UG sump/Overhead tank by the contractor. (v) An intimation will be given to Engr in charge before cleaning and after cleaning of work.

M&L for repairing / servicing of 7.5 to 15HP capacity submersible pump by dismantling the pump and taking out defective/unsv/worn out parts of submersible pump set and replacement/servicing of all defective parts as under and reassebling the pump set including testing complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for repairing / servicing of electric motor cap 7.5HP to 15 HP couplled to submersible pump, AC 3 phase, by dismantling the motor and coupling pulley and transport to work shop for repair. Removal of existing burnt out copper winding wire, cleaning of slots using suitable reagents and rewinding with super enamelled copper winding wire of appropriate gauge to achieve required RPM, varnsihing, drying, ovening, overhauling, greasing, painting and brought back to existing location and assembling the same after complete repair, connecting with pump and making necessary electrical connection and testing of motor after installation complete all as specified and directed. Note: Contractor shall be responsible for maintaining required RPM after repair. Non compliance of speed considered as incomplete repair.

M&L for repairing / servicing of 20 to 30 HP capacity submersible pump by dismantling the pump and taking out defective/unsv/worn out parts of submersible pump set and replacement/servicing of all defective parts as under and reassembling the pump set including testing complete all as specified and directed:-

Disconnection of existing pipe connections and electrical connections, de-watering and lifting up the Non cloging type submersible pumps 5HP to 15 HP discharge capacity 720 LPM (Make KSB) from UG sewage sump of 10.7 mtr deep carefully and transporting to workshop for repair and bringing back at site after repair and lowering the same including making the water and electric connection including commissioning and testing complete all as specified and directed. Note : - (i) Repair of submersible pump and pump motor shall be measured & paid separately under respective item of this schedule. (ii) T&P shall be arranged by the contractor. (iii) Transportation of pump set from site to workshop and bringing back at site inclusive in quoted rate.

De-assembling of electric motor of 10HP to 15 HP of non-cloging submersible pump set (Make KSB), cutting and removing the existing burnt winding wire of any gauge, cleaning and making good the slots, rewinding the electric motor with PVC insulated copper wire of existing size/gauge and weight, application of insulating material & varnishing including replacing of ball bearings-02 Nos, moisture seal and re-assembling the motor, commissioning & testing complete for the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for dismantling of existing defective / unsv squirrel cage induction motor / Openwell submercible / selfpriming motors with pumps of capacity 1 to 3 HP, single phase, 415 V, 50 Hz, from the foundation, disconnecting the electric connection, coupling pulley, transportation to work shop, seperating the stator and rotor assembly, cutting down and removing existing burnt out copper windings, cleaning of slots and rewinding of stator with super enamelled solid copper conductor (winding wire) of appropriate gauge and size to match with the existing so as to acheive desired RPM, including varnishing, drying, ovening, overhauling, greasing, providing insualtion and reassembling stator and rotor, connecting coils / winding, fixing in the same position, making necessary electric connection and testing of induction motor complete all as specified and directed.

De-assembling of non-clogging submersible pump of discharge capacity 12.5 HP 720 LPM, 12 Mtrs head (Make-KSB), for repair by replacing of company recommended parts of mechanical seal - 2 Nos, lower bearing - 1 No, O ring - 1 No, spiral plate - 1 No, compay recommended lubriucating oil - 7 Ltrs, moisture sensor including bolts, nuts and washers, re-assembling the same and comissioning & testing complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting of existing pipe connections and electrical connections, de-watering and lifting up the non cloging type submersible pumps 15HP of discharge capacity 720 LPM (Make KSB) from UG sewage sump of 10.7 mtr deep carefully and transporting to workshop for repair and bringing back at site after repair and lowering the same including making the water and electric connection including commissioning and testing complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Repair of submersible pump and pump motor shall be measured & paid separately under respective item of this schedule. (ii) T&P shall be arranged by the contractor. (iii) Transportation of pump set from site to workshop and bringing back at site shall be included in quoted rate.

De-assembling of electric motor of 15HP of non cloging submersible pump set (Make KSB), cutting and removing the existing burnt winding wire of any gauge, cleaning and making good the slots, rewinding the electric motor with PVC insulated copper wire of existing size / gauge and weight, application of insulating material & varnishing including replacing of ball bearings-02 Nos, moisture seal and re-assembling the motor, commissioning & testing complete all as specified and directed.

De-assembling of non-clogging submersible pump of discharge capacity 920 LPM, 12 Mtrs head (Make-KSB), for repair by replacing of company recommended parts of mechanical seal - 2 Nos, lower bearing - 1 No, O ring - 1 No, spiral plate - 1 No, compay recommended lubriucating oil - 7 Ltrs, moisture sensor including bolts, nuts and washers, re-assembling the same and comissioning & testing complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out unserviceable / defective / damaged / blockage GI pipe 20mm bore steel water tubing, complete all as specified and directed. Note: Exacavation and earhwork shall be measured and paid for separately.

Taking out unserviceable / defective / damaged / blockage GI pipe 25mm bore steel water tubing, complete all as specified and directed. Note: Exacavation and earhwork shall be measured and paid for separately.

Deployment of an electrician with tools and testing of motor for any defects / faults occuring day to day in motor starter panel and check and repair the panel whenever required (round the clock) at different places of pump houses in technical and domestic area complete all as specified and directed. M&L for construction of valve chamber of size 1200x 1200 x 1000 mm deep dimensions (Over all internal dimension) for sluice valve etc. with PCC foundation, PCC block masonry walls, Plastering, PCC Coping, white washing, mild steel chamber cover, painting to chamber cover including Excavation and earth work in any type of soil complete all as specified below:- Valve chamber shall be provided with the following specifications:-(i) Cement concrete for foundation (1:4:8) type D2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate 150 mm thick extended up to 150 mm beyond the outer face of block masonry. (ii) Walls of valve chamber 200 mm thick with precast cement concrete (1:5:8) (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) solid building blocks , setting in CM 1:6 complete. Note: Quoted rates shall be inclusive of minor repair items including material like elbow, tee, nipples, union etc as per site requirement.

Supply and fixing in repair of 20/25mm CPVC pipe including fittings like bends, T, junctions, elbows etc for water outllet & dosing system complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fix in repair PVC flexible hose pipe heavy duty of size 50mm for outlet connection of pump for suction / delivery of water as per IS standard complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fix in repair PVC flexible hose pipe heavy duty of size 80mm for outlet connection of pump for suction / delivery of water as per IS standard complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and Fix in repair HDPE pipe with material grade PE 100, PN 10.0 confirming to IS-4984 ISI Marked for working pressure 10Kg/sqcm including taking out old unsv damaged pipe complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair DOL starter up to 1 to 2 HP pump direct on line start for 260-440 V having relay range 13.2-20A complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix DOL starter three phase 415v along with short circuit protection connected accessories suitable with for 3 to 5HP motor complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix Star Delta starter three phase 415v along with short circuit protection connected accessories suitable with for 7.5 to 15HP motor complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix star delta starter three phase 415v along with short circuit protection connected accessories suitable with for 15 to 30 HP motor complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for repairing of crack in 150 / 200 mm bore DI / CI water pipe line by providing mild steel two piece half round clamp fabricated with 60 mm wide & 5 mm thick mild steel flat, bend to shape, including nut bolt, rubber packing, & painting of clamp with anti corrosive paint and including necessary earthwork excavation etc as complete all as specified and directed.

M& L for repairing of crack in 100 mm bore DI / CI / GI water pipe line by providing mild steel two piece half round clamp fabricated with 60 mm wide & 5 mm thick mild steel flat bend to shape welding 25 mm size socket, including nut bolt, rubber packing, drilling hole in existing pipe line & painting of clamp with anti corrosive paint complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix stainless steel chain, fabricated with SS-304 grade steel fixed to non clogging sewage pump complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repair three phase pole power contactor, 10-100Amps, rated coil voltage 230, 50Hz including connected accessories complete all as specified and directed. Make: As per sample obtained from site

Supply and fix in repair current converter preventer relay range 2-5 Amp complete all as specified and directed. Make: As per sample obtained from site

M & L for preparation of old painted exposed surface of E/M installations tanks including pumps-motors, filter media, filter tanks connecting to borewells, old Pipe line of different size from 40 mm to 400 mm bore suction & delivery line existing metre as per site by removing dust, dirt, and painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of existing colour by using the air pressure spray gun machine, writing marked in suction / delivery line to pump sets with white paint complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for road cutting through pneumatic tools and ccompressor machine hardstanding or Mitumin road for any pipe line work coomplete all as specified and directed.

Supply only gland packing 10 / 12 mm size, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for any deep excavation any size and any type of soil for emergency work through JCB, pockline, labour, any other special T&P using cutting of hardstanding, road, hard soil through excavator for fault finding and rectifying of leakage after completion of work as soil filling as per site requirement all as specified and directed by Enmgr in Charge.

Supply and fix in repair MS pipe medium grade of size 100mm dia, thickness shall not be less than 4.50mm for suction line of pump, header of pumps and connecting to exisiting pipe line (E/M installation domestic & technical area) including cutting, fabrication work and fixing with exisiting pipe line with all fittings complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair MS pipe medium grade of size 150mm dia, thickness shall not be less than 4.85mm for suction line of pump, header of pumps and connecting to exisiting pipe line (E/M installation domestic & technical area) including cutting, fabrication work and fixing with exisiting pipe line with all fittings complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in trenches, spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm in hard dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of surplus soil to a distance n.exc 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 mtr above starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of paint.
