Excavation in trenches in any type of soil not exceeding 1.5 metre deep and not exceeding 1.5 mtr width and getting out soil including forming bottom surface to required slope/gradient for laying cables/pipes etc. including removing cable protection covers/ bricks complete all as specified and directed. Notes : (i) Excavation shall be made carefully in order to avoid damage of existing cables and brick protection. (ii) The excavation work may be carried out in short lengths for locating fault in under ground cables at different locations

M&L for Returning, filling in, including spreading levelling, watering and well ramming the excavated soil in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Removal of surplus excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 Mtr distance and depositing as directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for sand filling with clean dry fine sand unwashed including gently punning around cables in trenches/ducts for cable protection complete all as specified and directed (NOTE : Thickness after punning shall be measured for payment)

M&L for old size sub class `B` bricks, kiln burnt, as in cable protection laid flat with axis of brick perpendicular to the axis of the cable complete all as specified and directed .

Fixing / laying only old retrieved bricks of any description as obtained from dismantling of the cable complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Disconnecting and taking out old unserviceable GI pipe and Supplying, laying & jointing GI water tubing, 50 mm bore, light grade as in sleeving etc laid in trenches / pole post etc, cutting and making necessaries arangement by means of wedling and jointing suitable for post of larntent/ street light fitting including PCC work complete all as specified and directed . Make of pipe TATA / Jindal / Swastik / Prakash / BST or any other ISI marked make approved by GE. (Note : PCC work shall be measured and paid seperatly under Sch "A' relevent item)

Disconnecting and taking out old existing unserviceable/ non- functional LT Cable and Supplying, laying, jointing and testing cable XLPE insulated IS 7098 (Part-I)-1988 marked, screened, PVC sheathed, armoured electric power cable (heavy duty) with aluminum conductor for working voltage upto and including 1100 Volts, cross sectional area of under mentioned size of cables laid in trenches/fixed on pole/wall / passed through pipe complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make:Havells/GLOSTER/Polycab) (NOTE: Earth work, sand cushioning, pipe, clamps for holding cables and brick protection shall be measured and paid separately )

Labour only for checking the serviceability of the different spares / components / parts of security light fittings/post top lantern light fittings (LED,HPSV, Metal Halide, flood light fittings etc, any wattage/capacity) of any description and fixed in any position, replacement of un-serviceable/damaged/ broken part(s) either in single or in combination, re-assembling the fittings and making the light fittings serviceable, fixing the fittings in position, connecting to electric supply and its testing on installation complete all as specified and directed here in after in notes.

NOTES FOR SCH `A’ ITEM NO : 9:- (i) Replacement of parts i.e Drivers,SPD, LED board,lamps, choke, Igniter, Condenser, Holder, covers etc for HPMV/HPSV/MH/Flood light fittings any wattage & capacity, if any required at site, shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Schedule `A' as ‘supply only.

(ii) Necessary T&P i.e. ladder, tools etc required for checking and making the light fittings in serviceable conditions, its fixing in position and testing shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost for checking and fixing of street light fittings/security light fittings of any description on poles / on walls / on pillars etc i.e. in any position at site. (iii) Required screws, insulating tapes, internal wiring wire and other minor items excluding the required spares parts for repairing and making the street light fittings/security light fittings in serviceable condition, will be arranged & supplied by the contractor and cost of which is deemed to be included in the rates quoted by the contractor in above respective item.

(iv) Contractor shall be paid only one time the labour charges quoted above in Schedule `A' items for a particular fitting repaired irrespective of the number of times labour and resources arranged by him to check the serviceability of the fittings and replacement of unserviceable / defective parts in order to maintain the fittings in serviceable/working condition. (v) Contractor’s quoted rates for Schedule `A' item No 9 is deemed to include for inspection/checking the serviceability of the fittings in position or by taking down as per site requirement, removing the damaged unserviceable / broken parts, fixing the new parts as required, fixing the fittings in same position or the other, connecting the fittings with electric source and testing of fittings as directed.

Supply only the following parts for LED fittings complete all as specified and directed. NOTES: (i) Fixing element of these items is deemed to be included in the rates quoted by the contractor for Sch `A' item No 09 (ii) Spare parts/items shall be of make Crompton Greaves/Philips/Bajaj/Havells & suitable for the existing fittings. (iii) The above items shall be operated with prior written approval of GE .

Supply and fixing in replacement of UNSV 40W LED Post top lantern for 360 degree indirect light with IP-65 protection Resistant to impect and corrosion, Glare free and better uniformity complete accessories to be fixed on pole/pipes/gates including connecting the fitting to control switch at the bottom of the pole with using 2.5 Sqmm two single core PVC insulated and unsheathed copper conductor copper conductor cable complete all as specified and directed.Make : Crompton Cat Part No LPTO-40-CDL-M Or equivalent model of make Bajaj/ C&S/Havells).

Supply and fixing in replacement of UNSV 20W LED Post top lantern complete accessories to be fixed on pole/pipes/gates including connecting the fitting to control switch at the bottom of the pole with using 2.5 Sqmm two single core PVC insulated and unsheathed copper conductor copper conductor cable complete all as specified and directed. (Make-Crompton Cat No LPTH-20-WW or equivalent model of make Bajaj/Havells/C&S).

Material & labour of PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate (4 stay). in mass concrete and filling complete for foundation/hard standing , all as specified & directed by Enge-in- Charge

Taking down old unserviceable MS junction boxes from the pole with disconnectiong all connections, Supplying and fixing in position new Pole box made of thermoplastic Polycarbonate having IP65/IP66 degree of protection (shock proof, dust proof, jet water proof and acid resistive). The gasket should be internally embedded, and made of Polyeutherene. The boxes shall be tested as per IEC 60670-2/ 60670-22. The boxes shall have self threaded holes & provision for mounting din rail. The lid should be hinged type with sealing screw. The screw should be of stainless steel so that there is no corrosion. The boxes should withstand temperature of -40c to +120c. The glow wire test should be conducted at 960 c or 750 c and material should be flame retardant & self extinguishing. UL subject 94, V-0. The boxes should be free from toxic substances like hal ogen and silicon. The boxes should have suitable pre-moulded knock out /or plan wall depending on requirement. Box dimension shall not be less than 200 X 160 X98 MM (LXBXH). Box shall be suitable for 16/25Sqmm cables including one no. MCB SP 230 volts 6 amps of make Havells/Legrand/ABB and connecting the bus bars to cables with using suitable GI nut, bolts and washers and aluminum lugs etc fixed on pole using 30x5mm FI clamps,nuts,bolts & washers complete all as specified and directed. Make: Hensel/GE/Legrand.

M & L for cutting chases in hard standing road/path/drain etc for passing cables/pipes etc. size of cutting 100mm wide and 200mm deep and removing the excavated materials and disposal at 50 metre distance and making good the cutting after the pipe and cables are laid with PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down existing old rusted electric pole of any description and Supply, erecting and fixing in true vertical position, steel tubular swaged pole (410 SP – 31), 9 mtr long, complete conforming to IS : 2713 (Part-I & III) 1980 with cast iron base plate, pole cap / finial taper plug, bolts, nuts and washers, welded reduced section and longitudinal weld throughout entire length of pole with and including 2 coats of black bituminous paint externally upto planting depth and remaining exterior portion of pole finished with one coat of red oxide primer complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for making holes in electric/street light poles of any height or in any shape, by means of drill machine and drawing of drawing of 1.5sqmmx3 core cable through the hole from junction box to the hole on the top of pole near the street light fitting complete with all electric connections complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. (Rates of the cable deemed to be included)

Supply, fixing & testing in replacement of UNSV 120W LED flood light with pressure die-cast aluminium housing, complete with all accessories duly prewired and suitable fixing arragement for mounting on existing MS frame bracket including connecting the fitting on High mast 16.0/12.0 mtr hight poles complete all as specified and directed. Material and labour for cleaning and preparation of all existing steel surfaces of straight Electric/ steel tubular poles 9/11 mtrs long for painting including mild steel cross arms, clamps and street light brackets,protection pipe, MS boxes etc and applying Two coat of aluminium paint all round the exposed steel surfaces of existing steel tubular poles of any description and in any position above the height of 1.50 mtr from the plinth of the pole and applying one coat of synthetic enameled paint of different colours in strips of 150mm width upto the height 1.5 mtr from the plinth of pole complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for re-Writing letters or figures (Black, roman, Indian) for electric/ street light pole Nos on existing poles with stencil out with black colour including fixing red colour radium of 80 mm hight arround the radius of pole complete all as specified and directed.

Prunning of tree branches or cutting of tree branches where required for proper clearence to street light poles/ lines complete all as specified and directed.
