SPECIAL REPAIR FOR REPLACEMENT OF BER DG SET CAPACITY 125 KVA AT DRASS AND SPECIAL REPAIR FOR REPLACEMENT OF BER DG SET CAPACITY 160 KVA AT BUDHKHARBU, UNDER GE KARGIL

Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of 125 KVA (100 KW), 415 Volt, 0.8 PF, 3 phase, 50 Hz factory assembled Silent Diesel Engine driven generating at 56 Mtn Bde Camp at Drass Stn mounted on common base plateform with flexible coupling 1500 RPM alongwith sound proof enclosure (accoustic enclosure) designed for reducing the sound level to 75 DB(A) average IS 8528 Part - 10 as per approved CPCB norms and as per GSR 371 (E) and independently supported from engine to outside of power house upto 1.00 mtr, AVM pads foundation as per manufacure's design, cold starting kit battery start with suitable cables for connecting from DG Set to panel board, DG set shall be capable of operating in temprature range of (-35⁰C to +35⁰C) complete with and including of the following acessories suitable for parallel operation/ independent operations:

(A) Prime Mover :- Deisel Engine of suitable capacity water cooled radiator type closed circuit as per BIS 649 or IS-1002 direct iject type turbo with turbo charger. The DG Set shall be capable of running 24 hrs continouly with 10% overloading for one hour in every 12 hrs as per BIS-5514/BIS-649, Engine shall be enquipped with all standard fitting as per manufacturers recommendations and mounted on common base frame through flexible coupling with following accessories :- (i) Battery charging ammeter (ii) Battery charging voltmeter (iii) Ignition key and starting with push button switch (iv) Lubricating oil pressure gauge. (v) Electronic/Microprocessor based Governor controlling (vii) Toggle switch for idle running.

(viii) Oil Temperature gauge (ix) Safety control (Trip) :- (a) High water temperature (bi) Low lubricant oil pressure (c) Over speed (x) Lubricant oil heater to avoid freezing (xi) 24 Hours starting equipment comprising of the following :- (a) 01 No, 12 Volts, 180 AH Battery (b) Battery charging alternator with inbuilt regulator (c) Self starter motor of suitable capacity (d) Battery leads (Copper standard cable) of suitable size with brass thimbles and terminals (B) Alternator :- Alternator of capacity of 125 KVA/100 KW at NTP, 50 Hz, 415 Volt, 1500 RPM, 0.8 PF, running rate @ 1500 RPM, self excited, self regulated, screen protected with self excited field drush rotating fixed designed to be coupled with above engine through flexible couping, the alternator shall be conforming to BIS-2613 or IS-4722.

(D) Other Fitting :- (i) Battery charger - Battery charger having electric circuit consisting of rectifiers, capacitors and resistance etc. The battery charger should be able to charge 12 volts, 180 AH battery 02 Nos at a time and with 01 Nos ammeter or suitable range provision of incoming electric connector single phase 220 volts and two terminal of connecting outgoing leads to connect battery including suitable size of wooden plank complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The contractor shall produce a copy of approved certified to authenticate the above from the OEM/OEAD. (ii) Fuel Tank capacity as per manufacturer recommendations on steel frame at suitable height with all connecting pipes and fitting upto pump and over flow pipe form engine to tank including level indicating gauge duly marked and drain valve and air vent plug etc. (E) Maintenance Spares :- (i) Fuel fitter element - 02 Nos (ii) Oil Fitter - 03 Nos (iii) Fan Belt - 01 Nos (iv) Hose Belt - 01 Nos (v) Tapped Cover gasket - 01 Nos

(F) Tool kit as supplied by the manufacturer alongwith each set - 01 set complete. (H) The DG Set shall be tasted by the Contractor in presence of the Accepting Officer's representative / IEM & Engineer-in-Charge for 12 hr as per standard procedure without any extra cost to the department and the quoted rated are deemed to be included for all these aspects. NOTES FOR ITEM NO-1 (i) The DG Set shall be provided with an intergral acoustic enclosure to meet MoEF/CPCB norms of 75dBA @ 1 mtr at 75 % load under free field conditions, CRCA sheet in munsel green shade, structural base frame in black paint, insulation material PU foam complying IS 8183, fuel filling arrangement inside the enclosure, 11 tank pretreatment process and UV resistent powder coating of all parts to withstand extreme environment, air inlet louvers and shall comply the revised noise limit for DG set vide GSR 371 (E) dated 17 May 2002 and its amendments under Environment (Protection) act 1996 issued by the Min of Envronment and Forests. (ii) The contractor shall produce a copy of approved certificate to authanticate the above from the OEM/OEA Notes:- (i) Load test will be carried out after installation in the presence of testing officer. (ii) The DG set shall be tested by the contractor in presence of the accepting officer's representative/ IEM & Engineer-in-charge without any extra cost and the quoted rates are deemed to be included for all these aspects. (iv) Payment of DG Set's will be made after satisfactory testing.

Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60cmx60cmx6 mm thick buried directly in ground (Earth pit not less than 2.25 Mtr deep below normal ground level )with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 Mtr below normal ground level connecting with GI earthstrip 32x6 mm dia by means of bolt nut check nuts and washers of galvanized iron and provision of GI tubing medium grade (ISI marked) of 40 mm bore for protection of earthstrip of 32x6 mm including PCC with 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate CI frame and cover of angle iron 40x40x6mm and handle 6mm dia MS bar made to shape GI light grade20mm bore pipe for watering perforated at bottom 1.75 metre long placed on top edge of earth plate, charcoal and common salt filling, test point made out of Bronze/Gun metal size 75X75X25mm with fixing arrangment , funnel, wire meshand earth work in soft/loose soil, returning filling in and removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 Metres , all as per electrical plate No3 of SSR 2009 Pt -I to earth test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion.
