REPAIR TO ROAD WITH ROAD FURNITURE, SIGN BOARDS INCLUDING PAINTING TO ROAD AT JAFFARPORE, KANCHRAPARA AND LOS DUM DUM UNDER GE (AF) BARRACKPORE

M&L repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm putting in premixed as specified, for thin bituminous carpet (2 cm thick) well rammed and sealed with premixed sand seal coat (6.8 Kg of binder with 0.06 Cum of sand) again well rammed (including supply of premixed binder and sand) complete all as specified and as directed .

Preparing of existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with mechanical air compressor and with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

M&Lfor applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen VG-10 @ 5.0 kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L bituminous premix semi -dense asphaltic concrete 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder (paving bitumen grade VG-30) content by weight of total mix spread evenly with mechanical paver to desired thickness and to the correct camber, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne power roller/ vibratory roller/ double drum or tandem roller as suitable complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- 1.Premix SDAC shall be procured from a hot mix plant. 2.Exact quantity of binder to be used shall be ascertained by Design mix. 3.The binder content in the mix shall be minimum 5.5% by weight of total mix.However in case more than 5.5% of binder content is required as per design mix,the same shall be provided by the contractor at no extra cost.) 4.Binder content and density testing equipment should be readily available at site.

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces exc 50 mm and n exc 100 mm deep and area not exc 400 sqm complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen VG-10 @ 10.0 kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Premix bituminous,macadam with 4% binder content by weight of total mix (using paving bitumen of VG-30) laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber rolled/laid with power roller (consolidated thickness 75mm) including preparation of area before laying of macadam complete all as specified and as directed. ( Note :- 1. Exact quantity of binder to be used shall be ascertained by Design mix. 2. Minimum of 4% of binder shall be used.However in case more than 4% of binder content is required as per design mix,the same shall be provided by the contractor at no extra cost.)

M&L for preparation of black bituminous surfaces of road as required / directed and applying thermoplastic road marking painr with applicator machine, the material shall be laid uniformly, heated mixure with starting mechanism at a temperature of 160 degree centigrade. The thickness of paint shall not be less than 2 mm and not more than 2.5mm, complete all as specified and as directed. (The paint shall be as per BS 3262 Part-I & II of 1989)

S&F Cat eyes, body made of polycarbonate with electronically welded prismatic retroreflective lens on both side for maximum reflection in wet and dry condition. The material shall be non breakable, dustproof surfaces, affixed with epoxy with nailing complete all as specified and as directed .

Excavation in post holes nexc 0.5 cum grtting out, returning and filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers n.exc 25cm, watering and removing surplus soil to distance nexc 50m and making good sorface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC (1:3:6) Type C-2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F MS works in hand rails, half round or other steel section or core for wooden hand rail straight portion, drilled and counter sunk for balusters running bars, for doors, balusters, nosing to steps including embedding in concrete and screwing etc., wind ties for roof including securing bolts; posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire etc., and similar work confirming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified and as directed .

M&L for making sign board at different locations, made of stainless stlle sheet of thickness 2.0 mm and approved colour sticker on front side od sheet and lettering made with stick on screwed to frame complete all as specified and as directed. (Note: Frame work of sign board shall be measured and paid under item No. 12.00 here-in-before.)
