Maint and servicing of DG sets consisting normal repairs, including replacement of defective/burn out parts by new spares such as oil/diesel filters, gaskets,V belts, Engine oil all as specified,coolent & media, rubber hoses, wornout, clamps, nut and bolts and cleaning of alternator with vaccum cleaner and including greassing of bearing etc and made serviceable complete for the following capacities :- Make : Kirloskar/ Cumins/CG & Mahindra. Note: - All servicing and testing works shall be recorded jointly with manufacturers, service engineer by Engr-in-Charge. (i) Checking engine oil level and topping up as and when required . Note (i) Oil shall be measures and paid separately (ii) Checking and adjusting the belt for tension and replacement of belt. Note : Belt shall be measured and paid seperately (iii) Checking of air filter element (iv) Checking of exhaust system for leakage (v) Draining of sediment from fuel filter and fuel tank (vi) Cleaning of air cleaner element (vii) Checking engine alternator coupling, mounting bolts and alignment (viii) Tighting all nuts, bolts, in altenator terminal block (ix) Checking of alternator carbon brush and connections in alternator (x) Checking and tighting of all connection in DC control wiring. (xi) Trouble shooting of any type of fault in DG set through out the contract. Clearing of fault and testing complete. Note:(I) The rate for checking of DG set by professional Engineer as and when required basis will be included in the quoted rate. (ii) The contract will attend the complaint within 24 Hrs of the intmation by the attendent. (iii) The penalty of Rs 5000/- Per day for not attending the complaint will be imposed. Supply and fix in Repairs new PVC insulated multistranded, copper conductor 70 sqmm multistranded of 1.25 mtr long each duly fixed with brass clamps, copper lugs suitable for DG sets installed at different locations from battery to starter as battery leads complete all as specified.

Supply only engine oil, multi grade 15W40 for topping up OR pouring in engine of DG sets against item No1 before in which labour portion of fixing the item is included draining out the existing old unserviceable oil complete all as specified. Make :- Indian oil / Hindustan petroleum / Castrol / Volvoline.

Supply Petroleum jelly in 01 kg sealed plastic containers of 1kg each and applying in the battery terminals of the DG sets complete all as specified.

Supply only distilled water for topping up in the batteries all as directed against item No1 before in which labour portion of fixing the item is included complete all as specified.

M&L for in replacement Rubber Coupling with nut bolt & washer in between Alternator& Engine & up to 160 KVA DG SET complete all as specified.

Strip opening carefully of the existing FIP and injectors and transporting to an service centre for servicing / calibrating including petty repairs to make the FIP functional for the following capacities of DG sets including necessary spares required for smooth functioning of FIP :- (a) 12.5KVA to 30KVA

Repairing to the broken door of the DG set of any capacity with necessary works such as welding hinges fitting, locking and painting to existing match complete all as specified.

Draining out the Water from engine of radiator , dis-mantling the leaking radiator assembly from the engine body, transporting to workshop, cutting the bottom chambers, repairing the damaged pipes, brazing the leaking portions ,descaling / clearing all the blocked pipes including repairing the fins, brazing the bottom chambers, testing the radiator for leakages, transporting the same to the site and re-fixing and testing complete in the presence of Engr-in-charge. Dismantling the existing unserviceable battery, supply and fix new lead acid battery 12 Volts 150 AH,( heavy duty with electrolyte indicator float including initial charging of the battery connecting up complete all as specified. Make- Exide/AMCO/Amaron.

Labour only for attending breakdowns of DG sets through skilled technician from reputed service centre of DG sets with necessary tool kits, checking Engine and alternator for defects, carryout necessary repairs works to rectify the defects without major overhauling/opening of Engine or Alternators, replace of external spare to repair/rectify the defects and testing DG set for its smooth functioning on full load all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : 1. Necessary spares required to rectify the defects shall be measured and paid separately under relavant items. 2. The complaint shall be attended and rectifed within 24 hrs form time of reporting by Engr-in-Charge or his auth representative. 3. Any Major defects shall be reported on Priority to Engr-in-charge to avoid undue delay in fuctioning of installation."

Supply and fixing heat proof, fire proof/flame proof asbestos rope 12mm dia on engine exhaust pipe including dismentling of worn out asbestos rope including replacement of wornout nut, bolts, clamps and tightening exhaust pipe in position etc complete all as specified.

M & L for taking out burnt out winding and rewinding the Self startor coil, of any type with copper enameled wire including other minor repairs replacement of solenoid field coils and testing and refixing the Self startor after repair with alignment rotor with shaft and coupling, Copper enameled wire, lumex paper, glass wire varnish and cotton tape etc with all required accessories for 62.5/100 /380 KVA DG sets including necessary electrical and earthing connections complete all as spedcified.

Dis-connecting the alternator from the engine of up to capacity 100 KVA by removing the coupling & outgoing cable transporting the alternator to authorized maintenance service center for repairs Cleaning the armature, applying one coat of varnish and heating and assembling the alternator at workshop and testing at NO load, transporting the same to the site , re-connecting the alternator to the engine after proper alignment including testing and commissioning complete all as specified.

Preparation of old painted surfaces of the DG Sets including radiator, fuel tank etc of the capacities 100 to 500 KVA complete and spray painting the same with two coats of approved synthetic enamel paint of approved shade including writing SM/MES Nos on DG set complete all as specified.

Supply and fixing in repair MCCB 63 Amp 3 phase, 4 pole, 25 KA ics=icu all as specified and directed as Engineer-in-charge. L&T/Indoasian/C&S Note :MCCB must be thermal release protection type.

Material and Labour in taking down carefully Old rusted silencer & exhaust pipe up to 500 KVA from engine scraping & cleaning in side & out side applying one coat of zink primer for out side silencer pipe & providing self adjestive Asbasto Rope 12 mm dia from engine to exhaust pipe and painting with 2 coat of syenthetic enameled paint for expose portation of exhaust complete all as specified.

Servicing of DG Manual Panel up to 100 KVA DG Set including cleaning properly with blower, checking of control wiring , replacement of burnt out / damaged wiring connections, replacement of control fuses / MCBs all as directed by Engineer in Charge. NOTE :- Spare parts shall be measured and paid sepretely in resppective item of this schedule if required.
