B/R WORKS:- Surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm deep and averaging 15 cm deep and getting out in soft/loose soil all as specified and directed.

Removing of surplus soil not exceeding 50 m and deposited where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50m above the starting point all as directed.

Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in cutting by using Power roller exc 8 tonne & n exc 12 tonne all as directed.

M & L for continuous brick edging with fly ash/concrete bricks with compressive strength not less than 75 kg / Sqcm width equal to the width of the bricks laid dry on end vertically including necessary earth work embedding brick at depth as indicated and temping around brick at depth as indicated and tamping around bricks and removal of surplus soil to a distance n exc 50m and depositing as directed.

M & L for 150 mm thick (spread thickness) soling (or sub base) with broken boulders or quarried stone, interstices filled, surface formed and rolled and consolidated with 8 to 12 Tonne power roller to required gradient and camber all as specified.

M & L for 150 mm thick (laid in two layers of 75 mm each compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size) granite, trap or basalt, spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required all as directed.

M & L for preparing the unsurfaced water bound macadam by brushing with wire brushes for removing cacked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer (paving bitumen) VG-30 @ 10 kg per 10 sqm rolled and compacted with 8 to 10 ton power roller to required camber and gradient including rolling to uniform smooth surface with 8 to 10 tone power roller all as specified and directed.

M & L for one layer of premix bituminous macadam not exceeding 75 mm thick (consolidated thickness) mixed with 4% binder using VG-30 Bitumen binder, laid with self propelled mechanical paver, rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power roller complete, all specified and as directed.

Material and labour for preparing the black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing cacked mud etc and applying tack coat (paving bitumen) VG-30 @ 5 kg per 10 sqm and over it 40mm thick compacted thickness with 0.54 cum of stone chipping mixed with 29.2 kg of binder (paving bitumen) VG-30 laid with self propelled mechanical paver machinery and over it applying liquid seal coat by using paving bitumen VG-30 @ 9.8Kg/10Sqm and binded with 6.3mm stone crust including rolling to uniform smooth surface with 8 to 10 tone power roller all as specified and directed.

M & L for 1.00mm thick painting to road surfaces as in lines, dashes, arrows, letters, zebra crossing etc on roads, pavements and like with thermoplastic road marking paint @ 5 Kg/Sqm and applying glass beads @ 300 gms/Sqm over painted surfaces while the painting surfaces are hot by mechanical means including cleaning surfaces complete all as specified and directed.
