REPAIR REPLACEMENT OF ROOF TREATMENT AND ALLIED WORKS AT RAIWALA MILI STATION UNDER AGE(I) RAIWALA

Demolition of existing roof treatment i.e APP membrane including cement mortar screed, brick tiling including mud mortar or lime concrete and open up RCC roof slab including picking, sweeping cleaning with wire brush and washing down with water to remove dust, dirt to get surface free of laitance , scales, oil or any other loose material and removing unserviceable material, outside of A 1 defence land complete all as specified and directed. Note for all item of roof treatment :- (a) The work is required to be carried out at non-accessible roof for double storey . The contractor shall make arrangement of scoffolding,safety & security of workers and arrangement for approach to roof. (b) The rates quoted shall deemed to be included for these items. (c) The work will be measured only after stage passing by AGE(I).

M&L for PCC (1:2:4) type B-0 (using 12.5 mm graded stone agg) mixed with Liquid intergal water proofing compoud as per manufacturer direction and finishing the surface even and smooth with out using extra cement as in roof padding/ leveling course of slope over roof to receive roof treatment complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Liquid intergal water proofing compoud shall be measured and paid separately as supply only.

M&L for PCC (1:1.5:3) type A-0, using 12.5mm graded stone aggregates, as in concrete angle-fillets with a radiaus of 75 to 100mm shall be provided at junctions between roofs, floor and vertical faces of walls (parapet, pillar for water tank staging and sunken floor) around obstacles such as pipes, chimney stacks etc. and other similar situation to ease up about corners mixed with integral water proofing compound as per manufactur direction ) Note :- Integral water proofing compound (WPC) will be measured and paid seperately.

Supply only Liquid intergal water proofing compoud ISI marked all as specified.

M&L for one coat of cement slurry admixed with acrylic bonding compound SBR Latex liquid polymer as to be used for bonding of new concrete/ mortar to old surface as per manufacturer direction and finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement as in roof padding / sunken floor to receive water proof treatment complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The cost of SBR latex deemed included in quoted rates.

M&L for water proofing treatment to non-accessible roof slab with APP based modified polymeric membrane as per manufacturer’s instructions with following course of description below :- (a) Applying a priming coat of bituminious primer @ 0.30 Kg /Sqm, till the surface is properly impregnated. (b) Providing APP based 5 layer polymeric membrane minimum weighing 3.6Kg/ Sqm and minimum 3mm thick reinforced with polyester non-woven fabric (weight not less than 150 gms/sqm) centre core, laid on primed surface by forced applications as per the manufacturer's instructions with side over lap of 75 mm and end overlap of 100 mm. All overlap joints shall be sealed thoroughly by thermo fusing both the membrane layer (torching overlap by propane or butane gas torch ) and sealing it with the help of hot trowel. The overlap joints shall be made as a monolithic layer (c) Apply two coat of bituminous aluminium paint @ 0.20 Kg/Sqm over APP membrance

Note : (i) The work of water proofing treatment shall be got executed through authorised applicator of the manufacturer only and 10 year company back warranty to be submitted by contractor. (ii) The work is required to be carried out at non-accessible roof slab for double storeyed. The contractor shall make arrangement of scaffolding, safety and security of workers and arrangement for approach to roof . The rates quoted shall deemed to be included for these items.

S&F in repairs rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tank, double layer construction, ISI mark (cylindrical vertical with closed top) hoisted and fixed in position with and including 20 mm dia GI pipe medium grade washout pipe 450 mm long with plug and 20 mm dia GI pipe medium grade overflow pipe 600 mm long with fittings, of following capacity of tank complete all as specified and as directed:-

Taking up or down steel water tubing (GI Pipe) and connections of following bore complete all as specified and as directed :-

S&F galvanised steel water tubing (GI pipe), medium grade with all fittings (ISI Marked) and fixed to wall, floor and ceiling or laid in trenches of following bore complete all as specified and as directed :- Note :- 80mm and 100mm bore pipe will be jointed by welding as directed at site

Refixing old galvanised steel water tubing, with all new fittings (ISI Marked) and fixed to wall, floor and ceiling or laid in trenches of following bore complete all as specified and as directed :-

S&F in repairs gun metal globe or gate valves, (ISI marked), with iron wheel head, screwed both ends for iron pipe and fixed, for following bore complete all as specified and directed:-

Demolition of brick work or stone/ boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins,arches, pillars,etc. but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brick work with old size full brick subclass ‘B’ burnt clay bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius, built in CM (1:6) complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone wall surfaces including glazed tiles wherever exists including raking out joints, hacking for key and scrubbing down with water and removing unseviceable materials out side MoD land complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 15mm thick plastering on fair faces of brick wall in CM (1:6) surface finished even and fair complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing newly plastered surfaces of wall and applying two coats of cement base paint over a coat of cement primer complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The newly plastered surface must be prepared in a manner so that there should not be any impression of dent and it should be made even and smooth all as per satifaction of Engr-in-Charge. The cost of all materials, T&P and labour required for preparation of surface are deemed to be included in the rates quoted.

M&L for PCC (1:4:8) Type D2 (40 mm graded aggre-gate) as in foundations, filling and mass-concrete or sub base of floor/ hard standing/ footpath complete all as specified and directed.
