Repair Replacement to Sewage Line, Manholes and Cleaning of Septic Tank, Manholes, SWT, Sewage Lines at INS Kalinga and INS Karna at Visakhapatnam

M & L for cleaning of Septic Tanks / Soak Wells / Man Holes etc. not exceeding 1.50m depth by pumping out the sewage water completely removing the Sludge, Silt, Debris etc. and other materials by suitable means, preferable mechanical means and Cleaning the internal surfaces with fresh water and applying Bleaching Powder @200 Grams per Sq.m and removing all the materials obtained to outside MD Land exceeding 5.00 KM distance and cleaning the complete area including making good any damages to the Septic Tanks / Soak Wells / Man Holes etc. complete all as required and as directed. Note: Quantity shall be measured from top of Sludge / Sewage Water Level to Bottom of Tank / Pit. The Foul / Waste Material and Sludge shall be disposed to out side MD land exceeding 5.00 KM distance. Nothing shall be paid extra for dewatering and cleaning with fresh water and applying Bleaching Powder and rate quoted shall be deemed to be inclusive of the same. The cleaning shall be carried out in a Phased Manner Periodically as required and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Bleaching Powder shall be measured and paid separately.

All as per Serial Item No. 1 above but Depth of Septic Tanks / Soak Wells / Man Holes etc. exceeding 1.50m and not exceeding 4.50m complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only Bleaching Powder [ISI Marked] complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Clearing the blockage in the Sewage Lines of 100mm dia completely by rodding with Split Bamboo / Cleaning Rods preferably by Mechanical means so as to clean the Blockage and to enable the Sewage / Effluent to flow freely to the next Manhole, removal of sludge and other materials obtained from the Sewage Line to outside MD Land exceeding 5.00 KM distance, flushing the Seawage Line with Water including pumping of Sewage Water and cleaning the complete area including making good any damages to the sewage line or manholes complete all as required and as directed.

M & L for Removing blockages from Water Closets [Blocked / Choked] completely including connecting Traps, Spouts and Sewer Lines of any bore up to First Manhole preferably by manually means and by carefully Roding soil pipe with Split Bamboos or Flexible GI Wire etc to enable the flush water to flow freely to the Manholes to the entire satisfaction of user concerned and complete all as required and as directed.

M & L for cleaning the blockage in Gully Trap / Floor Trap / Nahani Trap completely to enable the sewage to flow freely to the next manhole, removing the sludge and other materials from the Traps by suitable means and removing all the materials obtained from the Traps to outside MD Land exceeding 5.00 KM distance and cleaning the complete area including making good any damages to the Traps to the entire satisfaction of user concerned complete all as required and as directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 10 Sq.m on plan area and depth not exceeding 1.5m and getting out in Soft / Loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 10 Sq.m on plan area and depth exceeding 1.5m but not exceeding 3.0m and getting out in Soft / Loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick of excavated soil complete all as specified and as directed. Note: A deduction of 10% shall be made from total computed volume of filling to cater in bulk irrespective of machinery used for ramming.

Removal of excavated material [Soil] to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for providing Precast RCC 1:1½:3, Type A-1, using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in Landings, Cover Slabs [for Manholes etc], Chullah Hoods, Chajjas, Water Troughs, Mangers, Shelves and similar articles with plain faces set in Cement Mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F Reinforcement using High Strength Corrosion Resistant Deformed TMT Bars of Grade Fe–500D of 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking, bending, spirally for hooping, hooking ends and binding with annealed mild steel wire not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips or welded complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for PCC 1:3:6, Type C-2 [using 40 mm graded granite stone aggregate] in surface channels and drains including forming fair finished drain or channel of any inner girth using extra cement including forms, moulds, mitred / stooped ends complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down Cement Plaster of any description on brick or stone walls or concrete surfaces etc including raking out joints, hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc and removing rubbish to a distance not exceeding 1.50 KM complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for rendering on fair faces of brick / concrete surfaces, 15 mm thick in Cement Mortar 1:4, surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement including mixing of water proofing compound of approved make as per manufacturers instructions complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Water proofing compound will be measured and paid separately.

Supply only Integral Water Proofing Compound [ISI marked] of approved make complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Non Skid Ceramic Tiles, Joint Free, Coloured, Premium Quality of size exceeding 0.06 Sq.m and not exceeding 0.11 Sq.m, 7 to 8 mm thick [Square or Rectangular] as in Floors etc, set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed flush using polymer based cementitious tiling joint filler to match the shade of the tile including screed bed or bedding layer of mortar 15 mm thick in Cement Mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed. Note: The colour / shade / design of tiles shall be as approved by GE.

M & L for Joint Free Glazed Ceramic Tiles, Edge Cut, Concept Type, Coloured, Premium Quality, of size 450 mm X 300 mm, 7 to 8 mm thick as in Vertical Surfaces such as Skirting, Dado etc set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed flush using polymer based cementitious tiling joint filler to match the shade of the tile over backing coat of 10mm thick in Cement Mortar 1:3 complete all as specified and as directed.
