Excavating in trenches n'exc 1.5 m width and n'exc 1.5 m in depth for foundation etc / for laying of cable/ pipe etc n'exc 10 sqm on plan and n'exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm. complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of surplus soil to a distance n'exc. 50 Mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out old unservicable DI/CI pipe with all fittings(including all fittings) with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead from trenches of 300 mm dia bore all as specified and directed. Note- Excavation and earth work will be measured and paid seperately under respective item.

Note- Excavation and earth work and run lead joints shall be measured and paid seperately.
