Excavation in foundation, trenches ( for pipes & pits) upto all depths in all classification of earth work such as pick work, jumper work, saturated soil including bailing and pumping out water, blasting soft/ hard rock or chieselling soft/hard rock where blasting is prohibited in all lifts including trimming and dressing of sides, leveling of beds to correct grade i/c shoring /strutting , planking, timbering & dewatering wherever required, stacking the useable & unuseable material /soil separately & after laying jointing & testing of pipes, returning the useable soil in trenches in 15 cm layers including consolidating of such deposoited layer by ramming & watering & then disposing of all surplus excavated soil /unusable material as directed with in all leads & lifts including restoration unmetalled surfaces to its original condition & including cost of diversion for traffic, night signals, fixing caution boards, crossing over trenches for access to houses, fencing etc. complete in all respects with in all leads & lifts as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing, Laying, jointing and testing of MS Pipe L-290 (X-42) bevelled edged conforming to ISO:3183-2007 of following mentoned grade, diameter and wall thickness in trenches having random lengths of 5-7 mtrs including cost of fabrication of minimum 3 cut bends of required degree. The pipe shall have inside & out side Galvanisation at manufacturer work conforming to IS:4736 (with upto date ammendments). The pipe shall be jointed with circumferencial butt welded joints by electric arc welding with minimum three layers of welds so as to achive the minimum effective thorat thickness and strength of welds conforming to IS: 816-1969 sepecification, by using welding electrodes of 2.50 mm to 6.30 mm of Advani Oerlikon (Ador)- CITOJET / Esab make, conforming to IS:814-1991, at site of work complete in all respects, including manual / mechanical handling of pipes in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfication of Engineer-in-charge. (The earth work in treches and cost of MS flanges to be measured and paid for separately) Length of Flanged Joint 95%

Providing, Laying, jointing and testing of GMSERW Pipe L-290 (X-42) of following dia meters to conforming to ISO:3183-2007 (latest with upto date amendments) having wall thickness as per code with plain end and capable of withstanding required test pressure in random length fo 4 to 7 mteres. The pipe shall have inside & out side glavanisation at manufactured work as per relivant IS standard including specials, short pieces bends, reducers, tees etc. made from parent tube, providing and welding of MS flages at suitable points to be provided 5% of total pipe length detailed as below. The MS flanges shall confirm to BIS 6392-1971 (with latest upto date amendments) duly welded in three layers one inner and two outer to make the joint leakproof with pipes at both ends as per relevant BIS standards along with nuts and bolts of required sizes, 3mm thick compressed asbestos fiber/ synthetic rubber gaskets confirming to relevant BIS standards. The laying of pipe will include all operation such as cutting, trenches to ensure required level including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respects to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge. The fabricated bends shall have three or four cuts having its radius not less than five times the dia of pipe. The damaged portion of the pipes and special made from the parent tube shall be provided anticorrosive treatment by applying two coats of anticorrosive bituminus paint over a priming coat as per AWWA specifications C-203-1978. The welding electrodes shall be as per IS 814 of ADvani Oerlikon/ L&T or ISI marked make. The rates also includes entire carriage of material, flushing, cleaning & hydraulic testing complete to the best satisfaction & direction of Engineer-in-Charge with in all leads and lifts. (Earth work in trenches will be measured and paid for separately).

Increasers with companions flanges matching with the relavant specifications of the accessories including rubber/asbestos gasket of minimum 3mm thickness as per IS:2712:1979 and required number of nuts and bolts as per IS:1364:1983, The pipes fittings and joints shall be as per relevant IS code & to withstand 1.5 times tatal head stipulated under item No.12. The size of the various components to be as under:

a) Suction pipe : One dia higher then the suction of pump offered and suitable to keep the velocity of flow from 1 to 1.5M/second in the suction pipe

b) Delivery pipe: One dia higher then the delivery of the pump offered and suitable to keep the velocity of flow from 1.5 to 2M/second in the delivery pipe.

c) Common header: One dia higher then delivery of pump will extend upto 5meters from the outer wall of the pump house in the direction to be jointed .
