Pavement Design
The Pavement is designed as per IRC :37 -2018 as detailed below.
The Traffic census data extract is enclosed. The total number of heavy vehicle is 999 nos. A design life of 15 years is considered with an annual rate of growth 5% in traffic.
The projected traffic will be designed is based on standard axle method. The highest CBR value is Say5.00 %. Number of vehicles playing 999 per day as per the traffic census conducted from DATED FROM-22/05/2026 to 23/05/2026 at 3.00 of above road.(Snap Survey)
The traffic for the design life is computed as below.
A = P(1 + r)x P = No. of commercial vehicle perday in last count.
r= annual rate of growth 5% or 0.05
A 999 (1+0.5)1 x = No. of years between last count and completion of construction.
A= intial traffic years of completion of construction in terms of the number of commerical vehicles per duly modified to account for lane distribution as explained in paragraph 3.2.32.
V= Vehicle damaged factor ( for single lane =1, for double lane = 75% and 50% for four lane
P= No of heavy vehicles for design ( as per traffic census of road)

Pavement Design
The Pavement is designed as per IRC :37 -2018 as detailed below.
The Traffic census data extract is enclosed. The total number of heavy vehicle is 482 nos. A design life of 15 years is considered with an annual rate of growth 6% in traffic.
The projected traffic will be designed is based on standard axle method. The highest CBR value is Say6.00 %. Number of vehicles playing 482 per day as per the traffic census conducted from DATED FROM-26/02/2026 to 27/02/2026 at of above road.
The traffic for the design life is computed as below.
A = P(1 + r)x P = No. of commercial vehicle perday in last count.
r= annual rate of growth 5% or 0.05
A 482 (1+0.5)1 x = No. of years between last count and completion of construction.
