SPECIAL REPAIR TO BLDG NO P 188 AT SRC RAMGARH CANTT

Taking down existing roof treatment any thickness including plastering, leaping plaster of any thickness cuting & up rooting tree roots/vegitable growth & removing the debris from the premises upto 500m from the MOD land including cleaning/washing down and keeping surfaces clean complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for PCC (1:2:4) ,type B-0 (using 12.5mm graded crushed stone aggregate) mixed with integral water proofing chemical compound, mixed in proportion 200 milli litre per 50 Kg of cement as in padding, benching, sunken portion etc.,on roof surface for correcting/ making proper slope on roof, etc.,complete all as specified and directed. Note:Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid seprerately under respective item of "BoQ"

M & L for application of water proofing treatment using APP modified roof membrane over non accessible/ non approachable RCC roof slab / chajjah / canopy / parapet wall( horizontal/vertical surface) to be executed through approved applicator of the membrane manufacturer/authorized applicator of the manufacturer with following specification etc complete all as specified and directed :- (a) Cleaning existing surface properly with wire brush & apply 10 mm thick plaster /rendering in cement mortar (1:3) mixed with liquid water proofing compound @ 200 ml/50 Kg of cement or as per manufacturer's instructions (b) Applying approved bituminous based primer( conforming to IS: 3384-1995) @ 0.50 litre / Sqm manufactured by the same agency as that of APP membrane with a density 0.87-0.89 Kg per liter at 25 degree centigrade on prepared surface (c) Laying not less than 3mm thick APP (Atactic polypropylene Polymer modified prefabricated membrane) modified water proofing membrane weighing not less than 3.00 Kg/Sqm reinforced with non woven polyster fiber weight not less than 160gms/Sqm using butane torch by torch application with 10cm side laps and 15cm end lap. Physical property of membrane shall be as under :- (i) Membrane weight not less than 3.00 Kg/Sqm. (ii) Non woven polyester weight not less than 160 gms/Sqm. (iii) Softening point of membrane not less than 150 degree Celsius. (iv) Joint tensile strength-longitudinal not less than 150 Kg / Sqcm and transverse not less than 450 Kg /Sq.cm at 230 degree Celsius. (v) Tear strength - longitudinal not less than 300 N & transverse not less than 250N. (vi) Elongation of reinforcement not less than 30%. (vii) Impermeability under water pressure not less than 3 Kg/Sqcm. (d) APP modified polymeric membrane shall be laid using butane torch by Torch application with minimum 10cm side overlap and 15cm end lap. (e) Applying two coat of bituminious based Aluminium Paint @ 0.3 Kg /sqm over APP Membrane.

S&F rotational moulded polythene water storage tank of capacity 1000 ltrs (Cylindrical/vertical with closed type), triple layer construction, ISI marked, hoisted and fixed in position including 20 mm bore GI nipple and 25 mm bore ball/ float valves high pressure of PTMT with epoxy coated aluminium rod & high density plastic ball screwed for iron pipe and fixed (minimum weight 455 gms) including taking down/dismantling of existing tank complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repair 32mm dia Gun-metal, globe or gate valves, with iron wheel head, screwed both ends for iron pipe and fixed complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repair 20mm dia Gun-metal, globe or gate valves, with iron wheel head, screwed both ends for iron pipe and fixed complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repair 15mm dia Gun-metal, globe or gate valves, with iron wheel head, screwed both ends for iron pipe and fixed complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up or down steel tubing and connections of 25 to 32 mm bore or removal to store complete etc and making good the surface in cement mortar 1:3 complete all as specified & directed.all as specified & directed.

S&F for GI water tubing medium grade, ISI marked, galvanised, 32 mm bore with all fittings, (such as tee, elbow, socket, union & short pieces) fixed to walls and ceiling or laid in floors including cutting chases for brick walls and making good the surface in cement mortar 1:3 complete all as specified & directed.

Taking up or down steel tubing and connections of 20 mm bore or removal to store complete etc and making good the surface in cement mortar 1:3 complete all as specified & directed.all as specified & directed.

Taking down chowkhats or frames with shutters (without taking off shutters from the frames) not exceeding 1.50 sqm each and removing from site and making good disturbed surface of walls in cement mortar (1:3) complete all as specified & directed.

Taking down chowkats or frames with shutters exceeding 1.5 Sqm sqm but not exceeding 4.00 sqm each (without taking off shutters from the frames) etc including builders hardware etc and removing from site and making good disturbed surface of walls in cement mortar (1:3) complete all as specified & directed.

S&F powder coated (with coating layer of minimum 50 micron thick) aluminium frame for doors, windows, ventilators shutters(fixed/ sliding track two or three track) and partitions frames with extruded built up standard sections of approved make fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions with sealent with wall, i.e. at top, bottom and sides including cleat angle, C.P. brass/ stainless steel screws, all complete all as specified and directed.

S & F aluminium powder coated door shutters, aluminium section minimum weighing 1.10 kg/m including necessary joining cleats, cleats glazing clips, rubber neoprene packing handles two numbers in each door, hinges, anodised aluminium snap beading screws etc completed all as specified.

S & F for powder coated aluminium window , ventilator shutters/sliding shutter with coating layer of minimum 50 micron, Track channel or fixed type without sash bar, aluminum section weighing min 0.55 kg/m including necessary joining cleats, glazing clips, rubber packing, anodised aluminium snap beading, screws etc. complete all as specified.

M&L for framed work such as grills,gratings etc with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forged into spikes; framed guard bars; barred iron doors; ladders; framed balusters; walk ways; railing; framework of water tanks and similar work conforming to Fe 290- Gde E -165 & for portions framed and hung as gates, including pintle hinges, stops,hand-made sliding bolts, etc.complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for prepartion of new or previously untreated steel surface of any description , not otherwise described over 10 cm in width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer complete all as specified & directed.

S & F Aluminium anodised barrel tower bolts of extruded section and fixed 150 mm long complete all as specified & directed.

S & F Aluminium anodised handles of extruded section and fixed 150 mm long complete all as specified & directed.

S & F in repair for aluminium (extruded section body) Door closer hydraulically regulated, designation No. 3, universal type, suitable for door shutters of 851 to 1000 mm in width and of weight between 61 to 80 kg and fixed complete etc all as specified & directed.

S&F of brass mortice lock, vertical type, size 100 mm long four levers (ISI marked) including escutcheon plates and two keys complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 4.8mm thick plain sheet glass ordinary quality and glazing with oil putty not exceeding 0.50 Sqm in each pane,complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge .

S & F for 3.0 mm thick sheet tinted glass and glazing with oil putty not exceeding 0.50 sqm each pane complete all as specified and directed.

S& F 3.0 mm thick frosted glass pin headed type in squares/ rectangular exceeding 0.5 Sqm in each pane glazing with oil putty or aluminium frame / shutters with rubber neoprene beading complete etc all as specified & directed.

S & F for Stainless steel wire cloth.0.36mm nominal dia of wire and average width of aperture 1.40mm and fixed with stainless steel wire staples complete all as specified and directed.

S & F solid PVC door frame of size 50mm X 47mm made out of 5mm plain colour PVC sheet reinforced with MS square tubes suppyling & fixing in opening as per specification & drawing complete all as spcefied and directed by Engr-In-Charge .

S & F for factory made solid panel PVC door shutter 30mm thick (style) consisting of frame made out of MS tube for top and bottom rails. MS framed shall be covered with heat moulded plain colour PVC ‘C’ channel having a PVC sheet strip of 20 mm width stuck inside with solvent cement for stiles and plain colour PVC sheet for top rail, lock rail &bottom rail on either side & as gap insert for top rail & bottom rail, paneling of plain colour PVC sheet to be fitted in the MS framed welded/sealed to stiles & rails with suitable PVC sheet beading & joined together with solvent cement complete all as fixing in the frame at site as per specification and drawing complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F 100 mm size Butt hinges medium weight cold rolled stainless steel and fixed complete all as specified & directed.

S & F in repair 20 mm dia mild steel tubing chromium plated curtain rod, 1.0 mm wall thickness including fixing with fancy brackets,stops, rollers etc.,complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Running length of curtain rod shall be measured & paid only.

S&F in repair CP bracket fancy type (designer) suitable for fixing to 20 mm dia curtain rod complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for complete removal of existing treatment from walls (any number of layers) by mechanical means/scrapping with steel scrappers or any other means, including filling depressions of scrapped surfaces with preparation of plastered surfaces and applying two coats of distemper oil emulsion (OBD) over a coat of primer including 3mm thick wall care putty complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparation of old decorated surfaces of ceiling by scrapping, rubbing down & washing down and applying two coat of oil emulsion distemper on ceiling all as specified and directed.

M&L for complete removal of existing treatment from walls (any number of layers) by mechanical means/scrapping with steel scrappers or any other means, including filling depressions of scrapped surfaces with preparation of plastered surfaces and applying two coats of Acrylic smooth exterior paint of required shade (two coats applied @1.67ltr/10 Sqm and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @2.20kg/10Sqm all as per specified and directed.

Taking down cement plaster on brick wall or concrete surface etc including raking out joints hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc & removing the debris from the premises upto 500 m from the MOD land complete all as specified and directed

M & L for rendering 15 mm thick on faces of bricks/concrete surface in cement mortar (1:6) on wall finishing the surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparation of new plaster on wall and applying two coats of Acrylic smooth exterior paint of required shade (two coats applied @1.67ltr/10 Sqm and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @2.20kg/10Sqm all as per specified and directed.

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing) including removing the all rubbish off from the premises upto 500mtr complete all as specified and directed.

M & L glazed ceramic coloured tiles of size 375 mm x 250 mm x7mm/450 mm x 300 mm x7 mm thick ,as in vertical surface such as dado/skirting etc ,set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in colour cement to match the tiles, over & including 10 mm thick rendering in cement plaster in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for joint free non skid coloured ceramic tiles 7 to 8 mm thick (sqaure/ rectangular) area of each tile exceeding 0.11 sqm but not exceeding 0.18 sqm, in floors etc., over and including 15mm thick screed bed in cement mortar (1:6) set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in coloured cement to match the existing surfaces, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 10 mm thick virtrified ceramic (light shade) tiles polished area of each tile exceeding 0.42 sqm but not exceeding 1.00 sqm, as in floors etc., set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in coloured cement to match, over and including 15 mm thick screed bed in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 10mm thick vitrified ceramic (light shade) tiles polished area of each tiles exceeding 0.42 sqm but not exceeding 1.00 sqm, laid in vertical surface as in dado/skirting etc over & including 10 mm thick rendering in CM 1:4,set & jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in coloured cement to match complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for coloured Non digital paver vitrified exterior tiles 300 mm x 300 mm x 10 mm thick, in floors etc., over & including 20mm thick screed bed in CM 1:6, set & jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed with white or coloured cement to match complete all as approved by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for Cutting chases, pinning in, making good to facings where required and pointing in cement mortar (1:3) to ends or edges of landings, steps, cills, sunshades, shelves, lintels etc., and cutting chases for concealed water tubing or concealed conduit wiring, etc., and making good,cutting not exceeding 10 cm girth in brick wall complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of plain cement concrete(un-reinforced) in ground floors and paving not exc 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) and removal of rubbish off from site complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for 75 mm thick plain cement concrete (1:3:6) mix, type C-2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in plinth protection, finishing the surfaces even and fair without using extra cement, including 10 mm wide, 75mm deep joints made at 3.00 m in length and filled with bitumen 85/25 grade and sand in the ratio 1:3 including necessary form work , complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete reinforced as in chullah hoods, shelves, cover slab and platform, etc,including removal of rubbish out off MOD land etc complete all as specified and directed

M&L for precast reinforced cement concrete/cast-in-situ 1:2:4 ,type B-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in kitchen platform, shelves ,man hole cover slab, etc. including necessary formwork complete all as specified and directed. Note : Reinforcement will be measured & paid seperately under respective item of BOQ.

M&L for mild steel TMT bars 10mm dia and over grade Fe-500D, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking bending spirally for hooping for column,, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips, complete etc all as specified and directed.

M&L for 18 mm thick granite slab (or any type) table rubbed and pre mirror polished in steps,jambs, pillar,window cill,cooking platforms and like in cement mortar1:4, set & jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed with white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigment to match with shade of granite, over & including 15 mm thick rendering in cement mortar(1:4) etc including dismantling of exsting slab complete all as specifed and as directed.

S & F vitreous China wash basin, any colour,oval type size 560 mm X 410 mm including 32mm brass chromium plated waste coupling , 32 mm bore PVC waste pipe, chromium plated Grating including cutting for & pinning in ends of bracket or errecting bracket ,fixing of pillar tap & PCC 1:2:4 ,type B-1(using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) for embedding brackets & making good disturbed surface with CM 1:3 complete all as specified and directed. Note : Pillar tap as supply only will be measured & paid seperately under respective item of BOQ.

S&F in repair stop cock 15 mm bore chromium plated with cup cast copper alloy screwed down, high pressure with crutch handle screwed both ends for brass ferrule complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Brick work using old size sub class "B" bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6m mean radius, built in cement mortar 1:4 etc complete all as specified & directed.

M & L for rendering 10mm thick in cm 1:3 on chajjas not exceeding 60cm width after removing cracked plaster and concrete including cleaning of visible reinforcement and treating with cement slurry also necessary repair to cracked concrete if any with cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-0 using 12.5 mm graded aggregate including necessary scafolding & form work for single/double storey bldgs and making good as existing surface all as directed.

S & F in repair wall mounted PVC cabinet mirror of size 450mm x 350mm as approved by Garrison Engineer Make prayag or equivalent (Cat No:557)

Dismantling wall and ceiling boarding, any description, fixed in any position with nails/screws complete all as specified and directed.

S & F for providing aluminium snap grid frame work for false ceiling system with size 605 mm x 605 mm, consisting of main runner of size 36.5 mm x 25 mm x 1.4 mm (weight not less than @ 0.24 Kg/Rm) and cross Tee of size 23.5 mm x 36.4 mm x 1.4 mm (weight not less than @ 0.191 Kg/Rm). The snap grid shall be supported at end all along the wall with aluminium anodised angle of size 40 mm X 25 mm X 2 mm (weight not less than @ 0.36 Kg/Rm).The snap grid shall be fixed to ceiling supporting hangers consisting of 2 mm dia. G.I wire , J-bolts ,nuts and washers as per manufacturer's instructions or adjusting level and complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for 4.0 mm thick Non asbestos fibre cement building boards fixed in ceiling flat or sloping fixed or laid/ inserted to timber/GI/Aluminium frame work with screws complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for polygranite wall lining consisting of 3mm thick any colour polygranite sheet inclusive of solvent cement and fixing at site on polygranite frame as per specifications and drawing

M & L for 3mm thick polygranite sheet fillet of width 35mm thick for wall paneling inclusive of fixing on to wall to make polygranite frame as per specifications and drawing

M&L for machine cut kota stone slab flooring 18mm -22mm thick of size not less than 575 mm X 575 mm, over laid & jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab including grinding, rubbing & polishing with Beewax polish over & including 15 mm thick screed bed in CM (1:6) including roughening surfaces of old concrete floor by picking, sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust etc. complete all as specifed & directed.

M& L for mirror polish machine cut Kota stone slab 16 to 18mm thick as in vertical surfaces such as skirting/dados in narrow width, laid and jointed with grey cement slurry pointed with coloured cement to match the shade of the slab including grinding rubbing with beeswax polishing into mirror finishover 10 mm thick backing coat in CM (1:3) etc complete all as specifed & directed.

S&F for framed work as in doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces, etc., complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering. Doors, etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering,running rails and guides) and hanging; also fastening and fixing conforming to Fe-410 W Gde-E-250 quality B complete all as specified & directed.

S & F steel door including hinges steel handle looking arrangement etc complete with glazing bars, dovetailed and welded complete all as specified and directed

Taking down copper/aluminium point wiring (light, fan, socket or power) complete, including fixture and fittings such as switches, ceiling roses, pendants, regulators, sockets, light fitting etc. removing materials to store for keeping in safe custody or for taking credit (credit for above items should be made as per conditions separately) and making good disturbed surfaces of walls, floors, etc.complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down ceiling fan/exhaust fan of any sweep after disconnecting all necessary electrical connctions from ceiling rose to fan, fan blades and deposit to MES Store yard of AGE E/M Ramgarh complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.5 metre deep and not exceeding 1.5 mtr width and getting out soil including forming bottom surface to required slope/gradient for laying cables/pipes,foundations,laying of cable, shafts, well, cesspits, manholes etc., not exceeding 10Sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.5m in depth complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in trenches including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers of not exceeding 25 cm thick after the cables & pipes etc. are laid, jointed & tested and foundations complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
