ADDITION/ALTERATION TO WATER PROOFING TREATMENT OF BUILDING NO. P-41 (COMNETCEN BUILDINGS) AT NHO DEHRADUN

Removal of existing roof treatment i.e. APP Membrane, brick tile including concrete padding and benching and open up RCC roof slab including picking, sweeping cleaning with wire brush and washing down with water to remove dust, dirt to get surface free of laitance, scales, oil or any other loose material without damaging existing serviceable structure complete to receive new roof treatment including rubbish off the premises upto a distance exc 250 mtr but n.exc 500 mtr complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC (1:2:4) Type B-0 (using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate) as in padding mixed with liquid water proofing compound (as per manufacturer instructions and paid separately) over and including one coat of cement slurry admixed with acrylic bonding compound SBR Latex liquid polymer as to be used for bonding of new concrete/mortar to old surface as per manufacturer instruction and finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement as in roof padding/Sunken floor, kerb/bencing alongwith parapet including rounded, chamfered on edges complete all as specified and directed.(Note : Proportion of mix and method of mixing of approved concrete admixture should be applied as per manufacturer's instructions)

M&L for rendering 10 mm thick screed bedding layer in CM (1:3) mixed with and including acrylic bonding compound SBR Latex liquid polymer finished the surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.(Note : Proportion of mix and method of mixing of approved concrete admixture should be applied as per manufacturer's instructions)

M&L of water proofing treatment to non-accessible roof slab with APP based modified polymeric membrane as per manufacturer's instructions with following course of description :- (i) Applying one coat of bituminious primer evenly @ 0.70 Kg/Sqm till the surface is properly impregnated. (ii) Providing APP based 5 layer polymeric membrane minimum weigting 3 Kg/Sqm and minmum 3mm thick reinforced with polyester non-woven fabric matt (weight not less than 150 gms/Sqm) centre core laid on primed surface by torched applications as per the manufacturer's instructions with side over lap of 75mm and end overlap of 100mm. All overlap joints shall be sealed thoroughly by thermo fusing both the membrane layer (torching overlap by propane or butane gas torch) and sealing it with the help of hot trowel. The overlap joints shall be made as a monolithic layer. (iii) Apply two coat of aluminium paint @ 0.20 Kg/Sqm over APP membrane. (Note: the work in respect of water proofing treatment shall be carried out only by authorized/approved applicator of the manufacturer/firms of APP membrane. The contractor shall submitted 10 year company back warranty before claiming payments complete all as specified and directed. (Note : The work is required to be carried out at non-accessible roof of double/triple storey. The contractor shall make arrangement of scoffolding , safety & security of workers and arrangement for approach to roof. The rates quoted shall deemed to be included for these items.)

M&L for Cutting and opening cracks to a depth of 10mm x 10mm in V shape by mechanical means, cleaning all dirt and loose particles using Nitobond SBR/SBR latex of Fosroc/Sika/CICO having specific gravity ranging from 1.015 to 1.040 @27 deg celsius mixed in the ratio of 1(polymer) : 3(Cement) maintaining w/c ratio 0.35 to achieve thixotropic consistency complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing chemical injection treatment in the form of pressure grouting to the cold joint by injecting cement slurry(Preffered cement should have minimum blaine value 300-500 sqm per kg) mixed with including liquid water proofing compound to required consistency through the pre fixed PVC nozzle in the 18mm dia hole fixing of PVC nozzle with Renderoc Plug and final Cutting the projected nozzle and sealing off the PVC Nozzle after the injection operation is over with Renderoc plug non shrink rapid setting mortar compound finishing curing etc as per manufacturer specifications and as directed complete all as specified and directed.

NOTE FOR ITEM NO. 01 TO 06 : The work is required to be carried out at non-accessible roof 2/3 storey. The contractor shall make arrangement of scoffolding , safety & security of workers and arrangement for approach to roof. The rates quoted shall deemed to be included for these items.)

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surface of external wall all as prescribed by manufacture of paint and applying two coats of exterior anti fungal acrylic emulsion paint (walmista of Berger paint or equitant in Asian paint, Nerolac etc having three years of performance warranty) over a coat of exterior water based primer of same make all as specified and prescribed by manufacture of paint/ distemper by using roller/ spray machine to remove the dent and to make the surface even and smooth by grinding or rubbing with sand paper complete all as specified and directed .

M&L for preparation of old decorated surface of external wall by complete removal of existing treatment with mechanical sander machine (rpm 1500-2700) along with internal dust extraction system for clean environment certified by reputed paint manufacturers, then washing the surface with Bleaching powder solution for treatment of fungal growth and applying two coats of exterior anti fungal acrylic emulsion paint of required shade (wallmista of Berger paint or equitant in Asian paint, Nerolac etc having three years of performance warranty) over a coat of exterior water based primer of same make all as specified and prescribed by manufacture of paint/ distemper by using roller/ spray machineand with and including to remove the dent and to make the surface even and smooth by grinding or rubbing with sand paper complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer including preparation of new steel surface over 10cm width or grith complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in reinforcement n exc 4 Kg/Sqm hard drawn steel wire fabric cut to lengths, bent to shape required and tying with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm in dia complete all as specified and directed.

S&F stop valve fancy type, cast copper alloy chromonium plated screwed down high pressure, with crutch or butterfly handle screwed both ends for iron pipe or for unions complete all as specified and directed.
