Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5m wide and n.exc and 1.5 mtr in depth getting out in in soft/loose soil all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

All as per item No. 1 above but exceeding 1.5 mtr and not exceeding 3 mtr in depth.

M & L Earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode 60cmX60cmX6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtrs deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level, connecting to galvanized earth strip 32 x 6 mm as earthing conductor by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of GI and all as shown in Electrical plate No.5 of SSR Part I and including testing on completion all as specified locations and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge incl taking down old unsv one. Disconnecting all incoming/outgoing cables and earth strips, removing the transformer of capacity 100-160 KVA from the platform / two pole structure / floor and loading it in the vehicle carefully using crane and transporting it to the contractor's workshop, carry out the required repairs and transport the transformer back to the site , install it, reconnect all the incoming/out going cables and earth strips by properly crimping using lugs of suitable size lugs, taping the LT / HT bushes / bus bars, using LT / HT insulation tape and testing complete of following capacity all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note :- (a) Shifting and fixing transformer from own arrangent temporarily from MES Area to that area ( Back up Transformer will be provided by MES) (b) The cost of transportation of 2 transformers between Existing location and the Workshop is deemed to be included in the unit price. (c) Gasket set, LT/HT side porcelein / ceramic bushing, spindle for HT/LT side , rewinding, dehydration of oil (if required) shall be measured and paid separately in respective items as supply and fix.

Calibration and testing of combined inverse time over current and intstantaneous relay, checking and cleaning / decarbonising its moving and fixed contacts and ensure physical healthyness with visual check for healthy tripping of over current and earth fault, adjusting tripping time, flag setting, ratio setting, instantaneous time setting etc as per installed capacity of transformer to be saved on maximum, short circuit current in accordance with percentage impedance of transformer with artificial current injection on primary side with current injection machine of HT VCB,s complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in charge. Note : Spares / meters shall be measured and paid seperatly. The job of calibration, & setting shall be done in presence of MES rep / concern JE. Contactor shall provide the necessary test report of calibration done to department before claiming the payment. 2. Contractor shall provide all testing equipment , T&P, and injection kit for testing and creating the artifical fault for testing the proper functionality of relays and instruments on designed settings..

Note:- 1. On receiving the intimation of any type of faults through any mode / media, the contractor is responsible to locate the fault by deploying the dedicated team comprising of sufficient manpower Skilled electricians and helpers required in numbers as per the gravity/nature of the work involved to restore the power supply and communicate with SBA (On duty operator in Sub station) on duty and getting shutdown and permit card for working on HT lines and deposit the permit card after rectification of fault and fully completion of work . All the activities to trace the fault and rectifying & restoring the supply shall be carried out within specific reasonable time as given by the Engineer-in-charge. 2. The cost of required tools (T& P) and safety equipments required for the job to be provided by contractor and cost for same is deemed to be included in this unit price. No extra charges will be paid by department. 3.Safty of manpower deployed for the job is contractors responsibility . In case of any accident , department will not be responsible and no extra payment shall be paid to the contractor in account of this.

Labour for trimming/cutting to small tree branches girth not exc 30 cm upto minimum 2 Mtr clearance, tightening to stay strand in proper angle complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge. Note- 1. Span Between two consecutive poles (max up to 100 mtrs) shall be measured as one unit. 2. The cost of required tools (T& P) and safety equipments required for the job to be provided by contractor and cost for same is deemed to be included in this unit price. No extra charges will be paid by department.

NOTES: 1. The amount of schedule of credit shall be deducted from the total of this BOQ for arriving at contract sum. 2. The rates for RCC/PCC shall deemed to include the cost of formwork, shuttering etc., required for complete and proper execution of the item. Refer Schedule "A" notes for details.
