SCHEDULE "A" PART - I [CIVIL WORKS]

Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) in soft/loose soil each not exc 0.5 Cum, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around in layers not exceeding 25cm, watering and removing surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m and making good surface complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per item No.1.001 above but in hard/dense soil

Rough excavation n.exc 1.50m deep and getting out soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-cgarge.

Removing excavated material soils exc 5 Km but n exc. 10 Km and deposting where directed ,complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-cgarge.

Forming embankments including raising (or lowering) earth, spreading in layers n.exc 30 cm thick, watering, ramming/ rolling and finishing to required size, shape, etc, nexc. 1.5m high from base complete all as specified.

All as per item No 1.005 above but height exc 1.50m above but n.exc 3.0m height.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C2 (using 40mm graded Granite stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling, mass concrete and underneath pile caps, beams etc complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for RCC 1:2:4 type B1 as in precast fencing post, strut, straining or terminal post etc for fencing average sectional area exc 100 sq. cm and not exc 250 sq. cm including necessary form work complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Reinforcement in any situation using corrosion resistant TMT steel bars of grade Fe-500D, 10mm dia. and over cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including milld steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per item No 1.009 above but 6mm to 8mm dia.

All as per item No 1.009 above but 5mm dia and over upto and including 10mm dia as in stirrups, spacers and binders.

M&L for 6mm dia round bars 100mm long bent to shape required as in fencing post and similar work confirming to FE 290. Gde-E-165 complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F Galvanised 02 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia barbded with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacing and straining and fixing to any type of standard straining bolts including securing or tying at crossing with provision of galvansied mild steel wire staples or steel pins complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F of Mild steel screw bolts diameter of neck 6mm (machine made) with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut, length of bolt exc. 10cm and not exc 15cm long complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F of MS flat for securing bolts; posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shapes as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire etc: including all necessary drilling, bolting and smiliar works confirming to Fe 290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for applying 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint on steel and iron work new surfaces of any description and girth exc 10cm over red oxide zinc chrome primer including preparation complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
