Notes for serial item Nos. 70 & 71: (i) The cost of copper / GI earth continuity wire with GI pipe 50mm medium grade upto 7.5m is deemed to be included (ii) The earth chamber to be constructed 0.5m from edge of earth pit with necessary watering arrangement. The cost for the same is deemed to be included in above item (iii) Earthing shall produce desired earth resistance values as directed by the Engineer-in-charge (iv) The earth resistance shall be less than 01Ohm / as desired by the installation. A guarantee for 3years of this criterion on a Rs. 100 stamp paper shall be given by the Contractor. The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of this aspect

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning maintenance free tripod chemical earthing system consisting of 3Nos. of solid copper earth rod of 10ft length, 17.2mm dia and 3m long on outer surface having 250microns (minimum thickness) with exothermically jointed copper bus bar of 900x600x5mm for long lasting and connecting each copper rod and the exothemically jointed bus bar, both CPRI tested on at leat 25kA fault current ensuring high current carrying capacity of the system and earth rod should be certified by laboratories confirming to comply with UL 467 international standards grounding and bonding equipment and each rod should be used with minimum 50kg earth enhancing compund that should be ROHS tested and have passed leaching sulpher, corrosion, resisitivity test shall be less than 0.05lhm mtr and international standard for earth enhancement compound by NABL acredited laboratory and each rod should be interconnected with 8mm dia copper clad steel conductor at the distance of 3m to make a shape of traingle with top of the bore finished with 40mm thick PCC in 1:2:4 type B-1, 75mm thick PCC in 1:4:8 type D-2 and back fill/JAM compund shall be covered with advanced polymer pit cover of 30x30mm size complete all as specified and as directed

Notes for item No. 73: (i) The earthing shall comply to IS 3043, UL 467, BS/EN50164-7 (ii) The earth resistance shall be less than 01Ohm. A guarantee for 3years of this criterion on a Rs. 100 stamp paper shall be given by the Contractor. The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of this aspect (iii) To obtain earth resistance less than 01Ohm, if a combination two or more earthings are to be inter-connected or the length of the electrode/s is/are to be increased it shall be measured and paid as one earthing only (iv) Testing of earthing shall be carried out in presence of Departmental rep and requisite test reports shall be submitted (v) Cost of all excavation & earthwork required shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate
