Construction of CC Road

Brick work with 1st class bricks in cement mortar (1:6) (a) In foundation and plinth

Filling in foundation or plinth by silver sand in layers not exceeding 150 mm as directed and consolidating the same by thorough saturation with water, ramming complete including the cost of supply of sand. (payment to be made on measurement of finished quantity).

Brick soling with picked jhama bricks including preparation of bed as necessary with brick joints properly filled in and packed with powdered earth and including necessary cushion of similar material below the soling (and in between layers when more than one layer is used) completes as per direction. (a) Single brick flat soling (thickness 75 mm.)

Hire and labour charges for Shuttering with or without staging upto 4.0 m height using approved stout props with wooden planks/ply wood/steel sheet plate with required bracing for any kind of plain or reinforced concrete works in all sorts of minor structure including culvert, box culvert, crossdrain etc. The rate is inclusive of fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of work as per specification and direction.(b) Where staging is not required

Ordinary Cement concrete (mix 1:1.5:3) with graded stone chips (20 mm nominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement,if any, in gound floor as per relevant IS codes. a) Pakur Variety

Close bamboo piling made of 65 mm to 75mm dia bamboos (in single line) driven about half length into the ground side by side, with stout stays at an interval of 1 metre 3 nos. of half split bamboo runner of same dia fitted and fixed with nails etc. complete as per direction (Measurements shall be taken along the length of piling after finishing the works) With bamboos of length above 2.00 m, and upto 2.50 m. each

Eucalyptus ballah pilling 10 cm dia and 3.00m long driven 1.67m(av) bellow G.L.and 375 mm centre to centre and 10cm dia ,3.00 long driven 1.67, placed at the centre to two 10 cm ballah and including fitting,fixing 3 nos of Eucalyptus ballah pices (from 10 cm dia Eucallyptus ballah) and necessary bracing (with 10cm ballah) @2.00m centre to centre and providing 3.00m long eucalyptus ballah ties to 10cm dia @2.5m centre to centre fixed with 10 cm dia eucalyptus ballah posts driven 2.25 m bellow G.L. including cost of materials and two cost tarring to all Eucallyptus ballah etc. complete as per direction of engineer in charge.

Eucalyptus ballah pilling 10 cm dia and 5.00m long driven 3.33m(av) bellow G.L.and 375 mm centre to centre and 10cm dia ,5.00 long driven 3.33 m, placed at the centre to two 10 cm ballah and including fitting,fixing 3 nos of Eucalyptus ballah pices (from 10 cm dia Eucallyptus ballah) and necessary bracing (with 10cm ballah) @2.00m centre to centre and providing 3.00m long eucalyptus ballah ties to 10cm dia @2.5m centre to centre fixed with 10 cm dia eucalyptus ballah posts driven 2.25 m bellow G.L. including cost of materials and two cost tarring to all Eucallyptus ballah etc. complete as per direction of engineer in charge.

Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits with a lift upto 1.5 m, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 with a lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 301.5 for Rural Roads of MORD. (Mode of measurement: pre works and post works).

Direction and Place Identification Signs upto 0.9 sqm Size Board. Providing and erecting direction and place identification retro-reflectorised sign as per IRC:67 made of high intensity grade sheeting vide clause 801.3, fixed over aluminium sheeting, 2 mm thick with area not exceeding 0.9 sqm supported on a mild steel single angle iron post 75 x 75 x 6 mm firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M15 grade cement concrete 45 x 45 x 60 cm, 60 cm below ground level as per approved drawing and Clause 801 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision) as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
