REPAIR AND MAINT TO BITUMEN/ CONCRETE ROAD AND ROAD FURNITURE AT CHAKRATA AT AGE B/R (P) CHAKRATA UNDER GE (P) DEHRADUN

Repairs to potholes any depth, not exc 01 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, path etc cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat of 5 Kg per 10 Sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.80 Kg per 10 Sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chipping 63 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chipping), depth of pot holes exceeding 30 mm all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.

M&L for premix bituminous macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber consodidated thickness 50 mm (average thickness) with paving bitumen any peneteration to on existing surfaces, depression on the existing surface and to provide proper camber on road with hot mix bituminus macadam with 4.5% binder content by weight spreading with mechanical paver and compacting paver and compacting with mechanical/ vibratory roller etc and super elevation uniform and smooth surface complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparing existing black top surfaces, by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Appllying evenly a priming/ tack coat with paving bitumen (VG-10) at 5 Kg per 10 Sqm over bituminous surfaces all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for Bituminous premix carpet (VG-30) 30 mm consodidated thickness with 0.41 cum of stone chipping mixed with 21.90 Kg of binder using paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient completed all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismentling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding ( but not backing) removing unserviceable item and the debris outside from defence land completed all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition of cement concrete or lime concrete (unreinforced) in ground floors and Pavings not exc 15 cm thick (below or above ground level ) and removing the debris outside from defence land completed all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for cement concrete work in pavement/hard-standing of flexurel strength 40 kg/per square centimeter in field using 400 kg of cement per cubic meter, thickness of concrete 25 cm or less and finishing surface of concrete roads, pavements by brooming completed all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for forming 150mm deep x 12mm thick expansion joints filled wiith pre-formed bituminous filler and top 30mm primed and sealed with sealing compound ,grade B all as spd and directed.(the rates include for any extra formwork if required to form joints) completed all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for forming contraction(Dummy) joints65mm deep x 10mm wide filled with sealing compound,grade B (the rates include for any extra formwork if required to form joints) completed all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge..

M&L for preparation of bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrow etc, and the like n.exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 32162-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in-charge.

Supply & fix metal tubular delineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600mm hight duly powder coated and thermoplastic elastomer 3bands of green ,red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150 X150 X 300mm ) type B1 and necessary earth work complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F high intensity reflective sheet 50mm wide of red & white/orange colour as required to be fixed on tubular steel poles or cemented poles or any other areas completed all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S & F portable speed breaker made of PVC of size 250 x 300 x 50mm completed all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S & F Convex mirror made up of PC materials having clear & definite mirror image, 130 degree of viewing angle of size 1000mm dia, provided on MS pipe 40 mm dia, 1.2 M long duly powder coated, embedded on PCC block 1:3:6 Type C-2 including necessary excavation and earthwork, completed all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fix solar cat eye aluminium alloy shall (100% waterproofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x25 mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4 V/0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2v/1600 MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10000 to 18000 mcd completed as per manufactures instructions etc, all as specified and directed by Engineer -in-charge..

M&L for Machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block any shape and size confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 60 mm thickness, M-35 Grade laid, jointed with grey cement and no pigment complete all as specified including preperation of formation bed over sand cusion, completed all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Sand filling below interlocking tile for cusioning including watering and consolidation completed all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, kerbs not provided for in Item 04028, water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded for chamfered angles and throating, as directing in hounching complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of brick/stone work, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quions, arches, pillars etc and removing the debris outside from defence land completed all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L Walling of random rubble masonry , uncoursed, well bonded, bedded and solidly hearted, built in CM 1:6 for road side parapit. completed all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
