Excavating in trenches in hard and dense soil, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sqm on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No. 1 above but excavation depth exceeding 1.5 metre and not exceeding 3.0 metre complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in (soil) including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cms thick in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated materials/ soils, not exceeding 50mtrs and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50mtrs, complete all as specified and directed.

Sand cushioning to protection of underground cables, laid 8 cm before laying and 15cm after laying of cable, and punned to form an overall layer of 18cm thick, complete all as specified and directed Note: Punned thickness 18cm shall be measured.

Supply , fixing & jointing, or passing through pipe, trenches or ducts, commissioning and testing XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured,electric power cables (Heavy duty) with aluminium conductor, 11000 Volts grade, cross sectional area 95 Sqmm, 3 core, suitable for 11 KV earthed system confirming to IS 7098 Part-2 for insulation and for conductors Class 2 to IS 8130-84, in trenches, floors, ducts passing through pipe for road crossing etc,including connecting & testing and disconnecting and taking down of old unserviceable HT cable complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement of Steel tubular swaged poles complete with base plate 8mm thick welded with pole, finial taper plug, bolt, nut and screws as specified type 410 SP-55 (11m long) including one coat of red-oxide zinc chrome primer and two coats of aluminium paint on surfaces exposed to view and making 30cm wide strips (total 5 Nos) with yellow and black paint alternately on external surface above PCC benching including numbering with black paint and painting with bituminous paint internally complete and externally for portion embedded in PCC, including taking down old unserviceable Pole complete all as specified and directed

S&F of stay assembly complete with all accessories such as stay plate 300mm x 300mm x 6mm, stay rod 20 mm dia and 215 cm long threaded end with nuts including 14mm dia GI stay bow. turn buckle, etc. complete, all as shown in Electrical plate No 1 of SSR Part- I (2009) complete including dismantling and taking down of old unserviceable stay assembly all as specified and as directed. NOTE :- Earth work excavation, concrete and loop type insulator & Stay wire shall be measured and paid separetely under relevent items of BOQ

Supply and fix of loop type insulators, vitreous, porcelain brown, white or green insulators for working pressure of 1100 volts grade of Small size with over all dimensions 65 x 90 mm including dismantling of existing loop type insulator from LT poles of any height place and position all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in replacement of Galvanised stay wire stranded of size 7/4 mm including necessary binding, strengthening complete all as directed.

M&L for boring of holes under road, pavment, hard standing by trenches technology using ultra sound technique JIG machine at the depth of 3 mtr below ground level complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix inreplacement of HDPE pipe PE 75 PN 10 of 100 mm dia confirming IS-14930 part-I & II through jig machine for conduiting HT cable at the depth of 5 mtr below ground level ,complete all as specified and as directed.

PCC 1:4:8 (nominal mix) type D-2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregates) as in foundation filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

PCC 1:3:6 (nominal mix) type C-1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregates) as in coping of pole and strut, bed plates and like including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.

Un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HV, Type 2, with peak, size 450mmx 180mm x 40mm for laying in trenches for cable protection laid adjacent to each other length wise perpendicular to the central axis of cable complete all as specified.

Structural steel work as in cross arms, bracings, supports, clamp and back plate fabricated from steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed by Engineer-in-Charge and applying two coats of aluminium paint over one coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer including preparation of surfaces and dismantling old structural steel work in cross arms and stacking at site, complete all as specified & directed.

Prepration of old steel surface of HT poles, 11 metres high including PCC coping, removing old particles and apply two coats of synthetic paint on the surface of pole and two coat of cement base paint on surface of PCC coping, applying two coat of aluminium paint on cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps, eye hooks, security light bracket clamp etc and marking black and white strips with synthetic enamel paint, 30 cm wide, alternatively upto 1.5 metre above the copping of pole starting with black strip complete, all as specified and directed. Note. (i) The quoted rate shall include marking of numbers on each HT pole as per direction of Engr-in- Charge. (ii) The quoted rate include the cost of repairing of coping in cement mortar 1:3 finishing surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement.

Preparation of old painted surfaces of indoor/outdoor type transformers body, HT/LT duct and HT Panel board at various substations for painting and applying one coat of spray paint with synthetic enamel paint without distributing/damaging the electrical network system /equipment all as specifed and directed.

Writing/marking of ratings/ incoming/ outgoing details/SM Nos in capital English alphabet in thick paint n. exc. 30 cm in height complete all as specifed and directed.

Disconnecting carefully electrical connection from both HT/ LT (primary & secondary) sides of the transformer, keeping them at safe side and taking out the transformer/CSS indoor/ outdoor type of any KVA capacity , 11 KV/ 0.433 KV, step up / step down any make for carrying out complete overhauling which shall comprise of the following :- (i) Lifting, transporting, handling, the transformer to near workshop from Palampur and opening top cover of the transformer by unscrewing nuts, bolts, washers etc. including disconnecting core assembly from HT/ LT bushing and lifting the same gently and taking out from the shell (container/ body) of the transformer. (ii) Draining out transformer oil from the above said transformer in the suitable capacity of container /drums and keeping it in safe custody for reuse. (iii) Cleaning the transformer body from inside, removing deposited dirt/ sludge/ foreign particles etc. from the bottom/ body of the transformer and drying up the shell from inside before refilling of the transformer oil.

(iv) Cleaning and washing thoroughly core and windings of the transformer by hosing down with clean dry oil( without moisture) conforming to IS 335/1983, removing deposited dirt/sludge/foreign particles from the windings/ core, thorough inspection of windings, providing insulations to leads and terminals, heating/ drying/ baking complete carefully and thoroughly inside the heating chamber at suitable temperature to obtain required value of insulation resistance etc. all as directed by Engr-in- charge. (v) Lifting and refixing core assembly inside the transformer shell gently and carefully, connecting primary/ secondary/ Neutral connections to the bushings assembly, fixing of tap change over including tightening of nuts, bolts, washers of the core to reduce humming noise all as directed. (vi) Refilling the filtered transformer oil in the shell of transformer complete. (vii) Refixing the top cover including replacement of cork sheet/ gasket 8mm thick, tightening of nuts/ bolts/ washers etc. and replacement of breather with silica gel crystal type all as directed by Engr-in charge. viii) Carrying out the inspection of the transformer. The inspection of transformer shall involve the following steps:- (a) Checking of all clamps, nuts, bolts including core bolts & cover fixing bolts.

(b) Checking all brazings, joints, tap heads and connection joints. (c) Checking all jumpers, terminations/ connections inside the transformer. (d) Checking the Buchholtz relay/ conservator MOG if any. (e) Painting of transformer complete with two coats of synthetic enamel paint externally transformer shell complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. (f) Inspection of tap changer, checking the moving and fixed contacts for contact wear and connection to winding. (ix) Conducting the tests on core and windings as per IS like ratio, magnetic imbalance, short circuit etc. in presence of Engr-in-Charge and test results shall be signed both by the contractor and Engineer -in-Charge and kept on record. Notes:- (i) Any damage to insulators/ bushes/ windings etc. while in the custody of the contractor shall be made good at no extra cost to Department. The serviceability of the transformer shall be checked and confirmed by the contractor before taking into his custody.

(ii) The quoted rate deemed to be inclusive of provision of alternate stand by transformer of suitable capacity (on rental basis) from workshop till repairs to existing transformer and the cost of rent, transportation to and fro, installation & connection also deemed to be included the quoted rate for the same. (iii) M&L for rewinding/ re-insulation of HT/ LT (primary/ secondary) coils, bushes, studs, Transformer oil,cable box, bush/relay if any etc will be measured and paid separately under the relevant items of BOQ.

Rewinding of HV side of aluminium wire/strip of appropriate gauge and turns as per relevant IS, copper winding wire as per IS : 1180 and and using original gauge/data including insulating materials such as cotton tape, packing and sleeves etc varnishing by vacuum impregnation and baking of coil core assembly for aluminium wound transformer including taking down of old unserviceable aluminium winding wire complete all as specified and as directed.

Rewinding of LV side of aluminium wound transformer with super enameled winding wire as per relevant IS, aluminium winding wire as per IS : 1180 and using as per original gauge/data including insulating materials such as cotton tape, packing and sleeves etc varnishing by vacuum impregnation and baking of coil core assembly for aluminium wound transformer including taking down of old unserviceable aluminium winding wire complete all as specified and as directed.

Rewinding of HV side of copper wound transformer with super enameled winding wire as per relevant IS, copper winding wire as per IS : 1180 and and using original gauge/data including insulating materials such as cotton tape, packing and sleeves etc varnishing by vacuum impregnation and baking of coil core assembly for copper wound transformer including taking down of old unserviceable copper winding wire complete all as specified and as directed.

Rewinding of LV side of copper wound transformer with super enameled winding wire as per relevant IS, copper winding wire as per IS : 1180 and using as per original gauge/data including insulating materials such as cotton tape, packing and sleeves etc varnishing by vacuum impregnation and baking of coil core assembly for copper wound transformer including taking down of old unserviceable copper winding wire complete all as specified and as directed. Note for items No 31 to 34:- The rate quoted is deeded to be included in the unit rate for varnishing, sleeving and insulating materials and the contractors shall not have any claim on this account at a later stage.

Supply and fix in replacement of HT bush suitable for any model/capacity of transformer Indoor/outdoor rating 50 KVA to 400 KVA complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in replacement of LT bush suitable for any model/capacity of transformer Indoor/Outdoor rating to 50 KVA up to 400 KVA complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in replacement of LT bush rod of brass of suitable size of existing make and type with 5 nuts washers rubber washers etc suitable for transformer rating above 50KVA upto 400KVAcomplete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in replacement of HT bush rod of brass of suitable size of existing make and type both ends threaded including nuts, check nuts and washers suitable for transformer rating above 50KVA upto 400KVA complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in replacement of Cast iron wheel of transformer of suitable size including nuts, bolts, split pins and welding works as required at site complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in replacement of Dry & blue colour silica gel crystal impregnated with cobalt suitable for transformer breather complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in replacement of Tap changer main moving contact assembly complete for transformer rating 50 KVA to 400 KVA , including connecting up with HT coil and testing for varying voltage complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking out of existing defective oil outlet valve and providing new valve to suit the existing size made of gun metal for outdoor/indoor transformer capacity 50 to 400 KVA including rubber/leather gasket /packing as required/directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking out the UNSV breather assembly complete form indoor/ outdoor type transformer capacity upto 400KVA and supply & fixing the new breather assembly complete filled with fresh blue silica gel including connecting with proper rubberized gasket complete al as specified and directed.

Replacement of (OTI) Oil Temperature indicator of distribution transformers OF CAPACITY 50 KVA TO 400 KVA including dismantling old one complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling old rusted cable box and porviding new cable box made out of MS sheet of thickness not less than 5 mm thick including fabrication works, welding etc of appropriate size to suit the existing transformer size, including nuts, bolts, cable glands, termination of existing cables and applying two coats of smoke grey colour synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer etc., for 50 KVA to 400 KVA capacity of transformers all as directd by the Engineer-in-charge . Note: The Contractor shall submit the drgs of boxes for approval of GE before manufacturing and placing order.

M& L for Purification, filtration and Dehydration of transformer oil of transformer installed at various indoor/outdoor sub station by ultra high vaavvun filtration machine with stream line filtration plant at a temp 60 to 70 deg. celsius and achieving minimum dieectric withstand strength of 60 KV for 1 minute in 2.5 mm gap setting (for used oil) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.Note: (i) Contractor shall ensure no wastage of transformer oil (ii) Oil required for topping up the transformer will be measured & paid separatly. (iii) Contractor shall be ensure that the conservator tanks are full to its level before starting the dehydreration.

Supplying and filling new mineral grade transformer oil EHV type confirming to IS-3357 to 1983 for filling and for topping up in transformer/Voltage stabilizer duly filtered with filer plant to obtain high dielectric not less 60KV (Gap 2.5mm) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer In charge.

Carrying out calibration/Servicing of HT VCB panel any make, after taking proper shut down and disconnecting the cables from panel and VCB Breakers, calibration of over fault relay, earth fault relay, checking of alignment of VCB isolating contacts, servicing of operating mechanism including tripping and closing system of the breakers, dehydrating, decorbonising of panel, bus section & circuit section including incoming/ outgoing cable and necessary HT insulation at joints. Removing perished monoplus compound cleaning and re-insulating with HT taps wherever necessary, with and including replacement of wornout/ defective spares like tension springs, tortion springs, nut bolts, washers of suitable size, lingers etc, under the supervision of Authorised dealer/ representative and refixing the panel in its original position and testing entire satisfaction of Engineer-in- charge. Note: (i) The quoted Rate shall be deemed to include all minor spares etc.(ii) If any burnt out/ defective items like moving/ fixed contacts, tripping coils, earth fault relay etc shall be measured and paid separately under respective items.(iii) Spare parts required other than mentioned here-in-after shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (iv) The calibration test certificate to be submitted after servicing & testing to Engr-incharge.

S&F in replacement of current transformer (CT) ratio 200/1005-5A, 50Hz, 15 VA accuracy class-I &5P-10,short cct time 18.4KA for 1 sec,as per IS-2705 epoxy type suitable for 11KV,VCB breaker including all necessary fixing arrangement and proper wiring connection complete all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge.

Taking down of HT RMU after disconnecting HT supply and reinstalled the same after repairing, Calibration and servicing and testing of HT RMU and breakers, removing moisture and dust from HT bus bar and from inside of RMU panel of 11 KV substations complete all as specified and directed. Note- (i) The Job shall be carried out through OEM only.(ii) Mesurement of (IR) resistance value tools, labour, petroleum jelly are included in this quoted rates. (iii) Parts will be replaced under relevent items as supply only.

Supply only pressure gauge of RMU including fixing in HT panels at 11 KV substations with connections complete as per diagram from OEM all as specified and directed.

Supply only indicator with electric wiring complete of RMU including fixing in HT panels at 11 KV substations with connections complete as per diagram from OEM all as specified and directed.

S & F in replacement of HT feeder pillar box factory made cubical type dust and vermin proof, outdoor type, both side opening of size 110cm x 100cm x 60cm of CRCA sheet 3 mm thick powder coated, machine pressed front opening in two halves with rubber gasket/bedding, locking arrangement with sliding bolt including aluminium bus bar of size 50 x 10 mm and 80 cm long 3 strips mounted on HT insulators. Each strip should be mounted minimum two insulator and nut bolt, panel shall be mounted on angle iron frame including heat shrinkable sleeve and legs made from angle iron of size 50 x 50 x 6 mm and legs 40 cm long duly spray painted internally and externally with two coats of synthethetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer and including grouted in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) complete incoming/outgoing cable and earth work such as excavation and removal of surplus soil etc.

Supply and fix in replacement of Synthetic Rubber insulated mat 3 mm thick for voltage upto 11KV for elctrical purpose as per IS 15652-2006 suitable for electrical shock safety of sizes 2m x1m complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting and removing existing wild grass, vegetation, creepers, small plants / bushes etc clamping up towards the poles and stays etc including cleaning bottom surface area of pole &stay not less than 1m x 1m by surface dressing of earth outside and inside substations, perimeter fencing around pump house area, and in drains surrounding area from site complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and spreding graded crushed stone aggregate 40mm size around two pole/ four pole structure in 15 cm thickness after cleaning area by removing existing wild grass,vegetation,creepers, small plants/bushes etc complete all as specified and directed.

Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metre deep below normal ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 metre below ground level, connecting to galvanised iron strip 32X6 mm size (as earth lead strip), by means of bolt, nuts, check nuts and washer of galvanised and earth wire protected by provision of galvanised iron pipe light grade, 40 mm bore including provn of concrete pit in plain cement concrete M-15 type B-1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregates with 40mm thick cover of rainforced cement concrete M-15 reinforced with XPM (weight not less than 4 kg/Sqm) and frame of angle iron 25x25x3mm with lugs 2 Nos and with 6mm dia mild steel bar handle made to shape, galvanised iron medium grade 20mm bore pipe for watering perforated at bottom 1.75 metre long placed on top edge of earth plate, common salt and charcoal filling, test point made out of phosphorous bronze with fixing arrangement, funnel, wire mesh and including earth work in any type of soil, returning filling in and removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre, all as per electrical plate No. 3 of SSR 2009 Part-I and connection to earth test point all as specified and testing on completion.

Supply and fix inreplacement of Galvanised from strip of size 32 x 6mm from earth pit to test point provided all around the bldg for lightening protection laid in trenches/fixed to walls on epoxy insulators with screws etc and connecting up complete all as directed.

M&L for construction transformer/LBSF plateform of size 3.0x3.0 mtr and hieght 1.2 mtr from normal ground level using brick masonary wall, PCC 1:4:8 type D2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate in foundation and top of the plateform and plastering all visible surface by using 1:3 cement mortar, 15mm thick plaster all as specified and directed at site.

Deduct Credit Amount as per Schedule of credit as details given on Srl Page No 26 of tender doucments.
