Notes : i. The contractor has to rectify all minor complaints on same day/major complaints within 2 days, otherwise a penalty of Rs. 1000/Hr of water supply interrupted incase of Engr-In-Charge is not satisfied with delay reasons. ii. Contractor has to arrangement temporary availability of water supply by connection with hose pipe, collar,etc upto rectification of water supply lines without extra cost. iii, The contractor should keep spares in hand for attending emergency complaints.

Excavating in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth for laying pipes in trenches/rectification of leakages and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge

Removing excavated soil n exc 50M and depositing where directed at level n exc 1.5 M above the starting point complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge

Material and labour for Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided.

Material and labour for Cement concrete in sub floors,sub-bases,floors and pavings of cement concrete of following types

a) Type D2, 1:4:8 (40mm graded agreggate) of 100 mm thickness ( For Sub base)

b) Type B1 1:2:4 (20mm graded agreggate) of 50 mm thickness (For Top layer flooring)

Material and labour for Cleaning of valve chambers of size up to 0.9x0.9x0.9m by removing of accumulated dirts/mud, vegetation up to 1 mtr around chamber, cleaning of pipes/valves externally and checking serviceablity of valves including white wash internally and external including painting of frame, cover complete all as specified and directed

Material and labour repair to valve chamber by means of taking down existing plaster (internal and external) completely and replaster in CM 1:4 15mm thick , 3 coat of white wash and welding of MS hinges and including one coat of synthetic enamel painting on MS sheet after preparation of the surface of the following size

(a) 90x90x 90 cm (inside dimension)

(b) 45x45x 60 cm (inside diamension)

Material and labour for Cutting existing CI pipe in position for insertions of CI specials /MJ collars of the following sizes Note : CI specials/MJ collars shall be measured and paid separately

Material and labour for construction of valve chamber of internal size 900mmx900mm 900mm with , foundation PCC 1:4:8 type D2 (100mm thick) laterite stone masonary 200 mm thick in CM 1:4,PCC 1:2:4 TYPE B1 for coping (75 mm thick) , rendering in cm 1:4 ,15 mm thick on both internal and external surfaces (15cm below GL) including provision of MS sheet cover 3 mm thick and 40x6 mm flat iron frame, 50x6 mm FI hold fast embedded in coping with two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer with necessary 3 coats white wash to external surface, earth work and excavation ,handle of 12mm dia MS rod etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fix 20mm bore brass ferrule on the existing pipe line including taking down of old unserviceable ferrule. Note : Excavation for replacement of ferrules measure and paid seperately

Supply and fix in repairs Ball valves high pressure of PTMT with epoxy coated aluminium rod and high density plastic ball screwed for iron pipe Make: Prayag/Zoloto (a) 40mm bore (minimum weight- 690 gram)

(b) 25mm bore ( minimum weight -455 gram)

(c) 20mm bore (minimum weight- 210 gram)

Supply and Fix ARV (Air Release Valve) flanged and drilled type 80mm dia including taking down the existing unserviceable valve.Make:Kirloskar/Leader/Kartar

Supply and fix CI specials Bends. Tapers. Tee pieces (single & double branch) upto 150mm bore any type and angle/radius and straight connecting pieces but all ends flanged complete all as specified.

Supply and fix PVC medium duty braided suction hose pipe medium grade green colour in any length laid in trenches including all fittings and connectors including taking out existing unserviceable pipes complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-In-Charge of following sizes: -

(a) 25mm dia

(b) 50mm dia

(c) 65mm dia

(d) 75mm dia

Material and labour for arresting pipe line Leakage made of Aluminium Foil Tape/Waterproof Adhesive Tape Sealing Butyl Rubber Tape for Surface Crack, Pipe Rupture (5cm width of tape).complete all as specified.
