Note 1: (Applicable for all parts/items) : The bidders/contractors are advised to read tender document, all drawings & all corrigendum/amendments and general condition of contracts before entry/quoting the rates. Note 2:- Attention to bidder is hereby invited to upload revised BOQ if published during their bid submission. Uploading of incorrect/ pre-revised BOQ shall be treated as non bonafide and rejected. Fixed credit has been given in technical documents which shall be taken into account during acceptance of bid/tender.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 Mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 Mtr depth in soft / loose/Hard soil and getting out for removing / laying of pipe lines complete all as specified.

Returning and filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Removing of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 Mtrs and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 Mtr above the starting point complete all as specified.

Dismantling and taking up or down unserviceable / old water pipe/tubing any type including all fittings etc complete all as specified and directed of the following sizes:-.

(a) 100 mm dia/bore.

(b) 90 mm dia/bore.

(c) 50 mm dia

(d) 25 mm dia.

(e) 20 mm dia.

Re-laying old GI pipe in trenches with old/new fittings such as bends, elbows, union, tees, reducers etc; at site after discaling/cleaning of pipe (Internaly/Externally ) all as specified & directed of the following sizes:-

(a) 100 mm dia.

(c) 50 mm dia.

(e) 25 mm dia.

Refixing old GI pipe on Wall / Surface including old/New fittings such as bends, elbows, union, tees, reducers etc; at site after discaling/cleaning of pipe (Internaly/Externally ) all as specified & directed of the following sizes:-

(a) 50 mm dia.

(b) 25 mm dia.

(c) 20 mm dia.

Supply and Laying GI Pipe medium grade including all fittings such as bend, tee, elbow, union, reducer etc, laid in trenches Complete all as specified and as directed of the following sizes:-

(a) 100mm dia.

(c) 50mm dia.

(d) 25mm dia.

Supply and Fixing GI pipe medium grade inclduing all fittings such as bend, tee, elbow, union, reducer etc, fixed complete on wall / surface / floor including MS hooks / clamps of suitable size all as specified and directed of the following sizes :-

(a) 25 mm dia.

(b) 20 mm dia.

3- layer PP-R (Poypropylene random copolymer) pipes SDR 7.4 PN 16 UV stabilised and antimicrobial layers and fusion welded having thermal stability for hot & cold water supply including all PP-R plain and brass threaded poly propylene random fittings fixed complete to walls/ceiling or laid on floors of the following sizes pipe :-

(a) 25 mm bore.

(b) 50 mm bore.

3- layer PP-R (Poypropylene random copolymer) pipes SDR 7.4 PN 16 UV stabilised and antimicrobial layers and fusion welded having thermal stability for hot & cold water supply including all PP-R plain and brass threaded poly propylene random fittings complete laid in trench of following size.

Taking up old CI/DI water mains pipe line (including all fittings), with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including buring out joints and recovering lead of the following sizes :-.

(a) 150mm dia.

(b) 100mm dia.

Supply, laying and jointing in trenches DI pipes with socketed ends with EPDA/SBA rubber gasket joints centrifugally cast, class K-7, in any length laid in trenches or on floor complete including dismantling and taking up old cracked CI pipes complete all as specified and directed for the following sizes:-Note:- Necessary DI fittings as required and Excavation / earth work etc; shall be measured and paid seperately.

(a) 150mm dia.

(b) 100mm dia.

M & L for Ductile Iron bends, tapers, Tee pieces, cross, collers, caps and plugs any type, radius & angle for pipes upto 150 mm bore all as per IS - 9523:2000 complete.

Labour for repairing of run lead joint for arresting water leakage in cast iron water mains / fittings and finishing complete all as directed for following sizes pipe :-

(a) 150mm dia.

(b) 100mm dia.

(c) 80mm dia.

Labour only for cutting of CI/DI pipe upto 150 mm dia carefully in position for repairs or inserting fittings such as bend, tee, socket pieces, collar etc; complete all as specified and as directed.

Supplying, fixing, jointing of Cast iron (CI) sluice valve, ISI Marked, both ends flanged with pre drilled pressure rating PN-1.6, confirming to IS 14846 -2000, having stainless steel spindle with cast iron operation wheel at top with nut and bolts and rubber gasket for making joints complete including dismantling and removing/taking out old unserviceable all as specified and as directed of the following sizes:- .

(a) 200mm dia.

(b) 150mm dia.

(c) 100mm dia.

S&F in replacement Gun metal globe or gate valves with iron wheel head, screwed both ends for iron pipe complete including dismantling and removing/taking out old unserviceable valves any type all as specified and directed at site of the following sizes:-

(b) 40mm dia.

(c) 25mm dia.

(d) 20mm dia.

S&F in replacement PP-R Gate valves (brass insert), screwed both ends for PP-R pipe complete including dismantling and removing/taking out old unserviceable valves any type all as specified and directed at site of the following sizes:-

(a) 50mm dia.

(b) 25mm dia.

Material & labour for horizontal boring under roads suitable upto 150mm pipes by manual method complete all as specified and directed

M & L for Rectifing defects on water supply, pumping/supply mains GI/CI/DI/PP-R alongwith fittings/valves of any sizes 15 mm to 200 mm complete removing, cleaning and refixing including replacement of the unserviceable parts and restoring water supply all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- (i) Rate for any fittings and other items for rectifying defects shall be measured and paid under respective item of schedule. (ii) All tools required for carrying out the works and jointing of PP-R pipe shall be deemed to be including in the quoted rate. (iii) The above work shall be carried out on requirement basis on complaints received in the MES service centre.

M&L for cleaning the RCC over head reservoirs of following capacity located at different places at Solmara by emptying the reservoirs, and taking down the scale and other foreign materials deposited on side wall and bottom of the tanks by scrapping and brushing with wire brush, applying one coat of bleaching powder slurry and allowing to dry and then washing and cleaning the tank with fresh water including applying one coat of white wash on internal surface of reservoirs, removal of manhole covers and refixing the same on the tanks after cleaning. The details of tanks like date of cleaning, capacity of tanks etc shall be written on the out side of the tank with synthetic enamel white paint on black back ground with letter size 10 cm and black background of size 30 x 30 cm all as specified and directed.Note- cleaning of OHT tank will be carryout twice in entire period of contract.

(a) For capacity 1.00 lakh Gln up to 21 mtr height.

(b) For capacity 0.25 to 0.50 lakh Gln up to 18 mtr height.

M&L for cleaning the Steel over head reservoirs of 0.1 lakh Gln capacity located at different places at Solmara/Haleshwar by emptying the reservoirs, and taking down the scale and other foreign materials deposited on side wall and bottom of the tanks by scrapping and brushing with wire brush, applying one coat of bleaching powder slurry and allowing to dry and then washing and cleaning the tank with fresh water includingprimer coating and painting. The details of tanks like date of cleaning, capacity of tanks etc shall be written on the out side of the tank with synthetic enamel white paint on black back ground with letter size 10 cm and black background of size 30 x 30 cm all as specified and directed.Note- cleaning of OHT tank will be carryout twice in entire period of contract.

Labour for draining out water from sedimentation tank of 40000 Glns capacity after opening sluice valves, plugs etc and cleaning the walls / bottom surface with the help of wire brushes and other cleaning device to remove sludge and cleaning with water for making ready to paint the surface masonry/mettalic complete all as specified and directed. (PH No 7A, 8 & 10) Note- cleaning of sadimation tank will be carryout twice in entire period of contract.

Labour for draining out water from sedimentation tank of 20000 Glns capacity after opening sluice valves, plugs etc and cleaning the walls / bottom surface with the help of wire brushes and other cleaning device to remove sludge and cleaning with water for making ready to paint the surface masonry/mettalic complete all as specified and directed. (PH No 7B & 9) Note- cleaning of sadimation tank will be carryout twice in entire period of contract.

Labour for draining out water from treated water tank of 40000/50000 Glns capacity after opening sluice valves, plugs etc and cleaning the walls / bottom surface with the help of wire brushes and other cleaning device to remove sludge and cleaning with water for making ready to paint the surface masonry/mettalic complete all as specified and directed. Note- cleaning of treated water tank will be carry out twice in entire period of contract.

Labour for draining out water from treated water tank of 20000 Glns capacity after opening sluice valves, plugs etc and cleaning the walls / bottom surface with the help of wire brushes and other cleaning device to remove sludge and cleaning with water for making ready to paint the surface masonry/mettalic complete all as specified and directed. Note- cleaning of treated water tank will be carry out twice in entire period of contract.

Material and Labour for repairing of leakage / cleaning of CI/DI main distribution pipe line by cutting or opening at any location , with the help of machine / manually to repairing the leakage or blockage of main pipe line and reconnecting the pipe after repair complete all as specified and directed by engr -in-Charge. Note :- Fitting and jointing material such as lead /flanged /rubber joint and excavation returning filling etc will be included in the quoted rate.

M & L for preparation for painting of old painted surfaces of filtration plant ( Iron removal filter , Multi grade filter , oxidation chamber , Activated carbon filter and associate filtration pipe line) by scrubbing ,cleaning the outer surfaces ,removing dust , scaling, Carbon over the surfaces and applying the two coat of weatherproof paint of approved colour ( Approved by Engineer-In -charge) with spray machine including writing name of filter , direction of flow with colour code etc complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing Butterfly valve with spindle, gasket bolts, nuts and washers in position of 150 mm bore in IRP supply and delivery complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fixing Butterfly valve with spindle, gasket bolts, nuts and washers in position of 100 mm bore in IRP supply and delivery complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fixing Butterfly valve with spindle, gasket bolts, nuts and washers in position of 40/50 mm bore in IRP supply and delivery complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fixing Non return valve vertical/horizontal type (Suitable as per existing valve) with gasket bolts, nuts and washers in position of 150 mm bore in IRP supply and delivery complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fixing Non return valve vertical/horizontal type (Suitable as per existing valve) with gasket bolts, nuts and washers in position of 100 mm bore in IRP supply and delivery complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for dismantling the dosing pump assy (Up to 1 HP) from dosing system after removing of nut, bolts etc and taking out the same to civil workshop/at site for repair/replacement of u/s parts descalling of roller assembly , injection check valve , feed rate controler including replacement of suction & discharge tube & nut bolt , ferrule including servicing of pump assy etc refixing and testing etc all as directed by Engr-In-Charge.

S & F pressure gauge with isolating valve and siphon 7Kg x 4" dial premium quality material body of pressure rating as per sample/as per site complete all as directed by Engineer-In-charge.

Supply only Chlorine test kit (400 no of test) with all testing fitment and solution complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only pH test kit (400 no of test) with all testing fitment and solution complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only Iron test kit(200 no of test) with all testing fitment and solution complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only Hardness test kit(200 no of test) with all testing fitment and solution complete all as specified and directed.

Labour for taking out of old and not reuseable supporting bed(pebbles/gravel) and media bed(MnO2/Anthracite/Acticated carbon) in each filter complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying in layer MNO2 (Maganese dioxide) compound in Iron removal filter media plant after isolate the system/bypass the system and opening of filter media as per instruction given by Engineer-In charge complete all as specified and directed .
