Servicing of the DG Sets of capacity 225 KVA Each Make: Cummins (2 No at Kargil Dett AF power house) complete after draining out of old engine oil and filling of new engine oil ,complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer -in- Charge . Notes:- (i) Cost of New Engine oil will be measured and paid separetley under relevant item of this BOQ. (ii) Unservicable Spares parts shall be replaced under Item No. 1.01 to 1.07 and will be measured and paid seperately for Supply and fixing as in replacment under item No.1.01 to 1.07.

Lub Oil filter ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Fuel filter ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Air cleaner element inner and Outer set ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Radiator fan belt ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Water separtor fuel filter ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Radiator Hose pipe,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Flexible fuel supply pipe line ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Servicing of the DG Sets of capacity 45 KVA Make: Cummins (1 No at Kargil Dett AF power house) complete after draining out of old engine oil and filling of new engine oil ,complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer -in- Charge . Labour for overhauling of self of DG set 12 V/24 Volt i.e. opening, checking and cleaning of self including replacement of bush if required and make it free from dust and and reassembling after replacement of UNSV worn out parts if required for smooth operation and reinstallation to DG set of existing make Cummins, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer -in- Charge . Note:- (i) Unservicable Spares parts shall be replaced under Item No. 3.01 to 3.03 and will be measured and paid seperately for Supply and fixing as in replacment under item No.3.01 to 3.03.

Solenoid switch as per site requirement fixed as in replacement of old unservicable burnout switch in and including taking out the unserviceable one, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Rewinding of burnout armature of self complete with standard enamelled insulated wire, H class insulation varnish, insulation papers, Glass sleeves of suitable size, tap roll of H class insulation , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Carbon brush set fixed as in replacement of old unservicable wornout carbon brush set in and including taking out the unserviceable one, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and filling of coolant DAFC-50 of authentic make ,complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer -in- Charge .

Maintenance free battery 12 volt 150 AH with copper lead of 2.0 mtr length of suitable size complete with brass terminal including nut bolt washer etc fixed as in replacement of old unservicable battery in and including taking out the unserviceable one, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make- Exide or equivalent make as specified in Appendix of Makes.

Maintenance free battery 12 volt 80 AH with copper lead of 2.0 mtr length of suitable size complete with brass terminal including nut bolt washer etc fixed as in replacement of old unservicable battery in and including taking out the unserviceable one, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make- Exide or equivalent make as specified in Appendix of Makes.

Taking out of radiator from DG set 45 KVA to 225 KVA, Cleaning of radiator by removing of dust/oil particles and cleaning of copper tubes by using suitable cleaning agent for any obstacles inside the tube, brazing/welding of fins, tubes if required and chamber for making free of any kind of leakage and refixing it , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Asbestos rope to exhaust pipe of DG set of any Cap as per existing size and colour fixed as in replacement of old unservicablerope in and including taking out the unserviceable one, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dynamo of capacoty 12/24 Volts of DG Set 45 to 225 KVA with complete rewinding, replacement of pinion and teeth including all minor parts like washers as required to make it serviceable ,complete all as specified & directed by the Engineer-in- Charge.

Ball bearing of alternator assy of DG set capacity 45 KVA to 225 KVA including nuts, bolts and washer complete as per site requirment as in replacment in and including taking out the unserviceable ball bearing, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make- SKF / NBC/ FAG

Cleaning of Diesel tank of DG set by removing all diesel from sump and cleaning the sump with suitable cleaning agent and make it free from dust and other impurites as per satisfaction , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismentling of alternator assembly of any capapcity DG set from 45 KVA from the engine, transportation to authorised workshop and back loading to the MES Power House after carrying out the repair work and refixing the same with engine & testing the alternator on load to the satisfaction , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.. Notes : (i) Any repair work including spares required will be measured and paid separately. (ii) Any damage if accured during transportation will be the responsiblity of contractor and making the same good at his own cost

AVR complete of DG set of capacity 45 KVA to 225 KVA DG set fixed as in replacement of old unservicable AVR in and including taking out the unserviceable one, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Rewinding of main alternator 45 KVA after taking out from alternator and cleanig properly to slot for rewinding of alternator, complete with standard enamelled insulated wire, H class insulation varnish, insulation papers, Glass sleeves of suitable size, tap roll of H class insulation , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: (i) Transportation charges including dismantling from engine, loading and unloading of alternator are deemed to be included in the quoted rate of this item nothing extra shall be admisible on this account.

Supply and filling of lubrication oil SAE-40 ( 15 W- 40 grade) of or as approved by GE. (Should be packd of 15/20 Ltrs bucket) , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make: Greaves/Valvoline or equivalent make as specified in Appendix of Makes.

Sheet metal enclosure only suitable for onload changeover switch front handle four pole 415 volts ,50 HZ of cap 400 amps in fixed as in replacement of UNSV/burnout onload/offload Changeover switch in and including taking out the unserviceable sheet metal enclosure, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Earthing complete with galvanised steel plate earth electrode 600X600X6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 meter below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level connected to GI strip 25x4mm at two points by means of bolts and nut, check nut and washers including charcoal dust, common salt, necessary excavation in hard/dense soil, returning filling in and removal of surplus soil to a distance up to 50metres, PCC pit in 1:3:6 type CI (using 20mm grade stone aggregate) RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm grade stone aggregate ) 50mm thick pit cover, reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars 75mm c/c, both ways MS handle 12mm dia, GI funnel, wire mesh and GI watering pipe of 20mm bore GI (light grade) and earth lead protection pipe 40mm bore (light grade) all as specified, directed and shown in electrical plate No 5 of SSR Part-I and testing ,including dismanteling of old unserviceable earthing , complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes : (i) The unit rate includes earth lead and protection pipe up to maximum 7.5 metre from earth plate to earth point/test point. (ii) Earth pit shall be constructed minimum 1.00 metre away from earth.

Labour for Dismantling/opening of UNSV diesel engine 225 KVA complete, Make Cummins Model :NT855, water cooled, turbo charged 1500 RPM installed at Kargil dett AF Power House and checking for repair required to make it serviceable and providing the quotation of repair required to department etc , complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- T & P and transportation if any required for dismantling/Opening including hydra etc. as required for above job shall be deemed to be included in quoted rate of this item and nothing extra shall be admissible on account .

Cable end jointing kit for 1.1 KV grade LT cable for indoor/outdoor termination , heat shrink type, joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3.5/4 core XLPE, armoured, Al conductor cable of size 150 to 185 Sqmm, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
