Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan) including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift up to 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m.

Providing and applying 2.5 mm thick road marking strips (retro-reflective) of specified shade/ colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully/ semi automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of material, labour, T&P, cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge and accordance with applicable specifications.
Construction of granular sub-base by providing close graded Material conforming to specifications, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed material by tippers to work site, for all leads & lifts, spreading in uniform layers of specified thickness with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate (size range 53 mm to 0.075 mm ) to wet mix macadam (WMM) specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in for all leads & lifts, laying in uniform layers with mechanical paver finisher in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller of 8 to 10 tonne capacity to achieve the desired density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.
Taking out existing kerb stones of all types from footpath/ central verge, including removal of mortar etc., disposal of unserviceable material to the dumping ground, for which payment shall be made separately and stacking of serviceable material within 50 metre lead as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Laying at or near ground level old kerb stones of all types in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints, except at sharp curve, shall not be more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required etc. complete as per direction of Engineer -in-charge. (Length of finished kerb edging shall be measured for payment). (Old kerb stones shall be supplied by the department free of cost).

Providing and fixing of superior make reflective road stud Cat eye of category ‘A’ raised pavement markers. The body of the Stud should be made of ABS (Astronitrilite Butadiene Styrene material). Two highly reflective reflectors made out of Polymethyle Acrylate material shall be fitted in the body of the stud to give maximum night time visibility. The reflective lens shall be fixed on the studs with ultrasonic welding process. The road stud shall be dynamically designed so that it can bear maximum load. The road stud shall be tested for abrasion resistance. Technical Specification of Road Stud: 1. Dimensions of the stud should not be less than: 100x80x20mm (approx.) 2. It shall be provided in yellow / white/green/red colour. 3. The stud should have double shank and fixed with high quality adhesive for better gripping on road and strength. 4. Road stud should be as per MoRTH provided with test certificate on supply.
Providing and Fixing of Flexible Median Markers which shall be made of combination of tough, high impact resistant molded thermoplastic body along with florescent yellow color retro-reflective type XI sheeting with minimum exposed reflective area 285 square mm and with rebound property. The reflective sheeting should confirm to Type XI Florescent Yellow sheeting as per IRC 67 2012 and ASTM D4956-11. The flexible median marker shall have overall height of minimum 180 mm, body thickness of minimum 2mm and shank depth of minimum 30mm. The retro-reflective sheeting shall be on both sides of the Flexible Median Marker and shall be edge protected with no exposed edges which will prevent edge lifting, vandalism, sheeting damage, etc. The edge of sheeting should not come out easily by putting nails, sharp objects etc. The logo of the manufacturer shall be embossed on either side of the body. The plastics used for the molding the flexible median marker shall have a minimum notched Izod Impact strength value of 4.111/cm (@thickness 3.17mm) at room temperature, tested in accordance with ASTM D256. The product design has to with stand all natural impacts and should not get damaged if any pedestrian stamp on top of it intentionally or unintentionally. The product should bend up to 90 degree on both sides without breakage or damage. The product shall be provided with 3 year outdoor weathering report as per ASTM & IRC Standards &10 year warranty confirmation as per IRC 67:2012 standards for the reflective sheeting used in product. The product shall have accredition with IRC.
Providing and fixing of Solar stud having reliable and robust design with aluminum-alloy shell tough body with solar Panel Mono-Crystalline Solar 2.4 V / 0.3 Watt and having charging capacity at a very low sunlight with Six Super Bright LEDs 8 mm fitted at appropriate height for clear blinking Points. The solar stud shall have 1.2V/1.3AH Ni-MH rechargeable battery Capacity 1300 mAh with LSD (Low Self Discharge Technology) fitted inside solar stud. It shall have a working time of 3 to 4 days successively with a fully charged battery and shall have a capacity of working under temperature of 45 to 75 Degree Celsius. The stud shall have a flash rate of 60 to 70 times per minute normally with Metalized Moulded Poly Carbonate Reflectors Dimensions: 17x81 mm for High visibility even flashing / blinking is not on. The Ingress Protection shall conform to IP 68. The stud shall have brightness sensitive auto-switch, which shall automatically turn on at dusk and turns off at dawn which shall ensure easy and safe night driving from a distance of 1000-1100 Meters Approx. due to its high visibility LEDs and shall be free of maintenance and operational in all weather conditions. The PCB Driver and Battery shall be sealed in ABS Case for extra water proofing and High/Low Temperature Protection thus increasing the life of the Solar System. Standard Dimensions / Size: 125 X 125 x 25mm with Shank of 65 mm.

Providing and fixing spring post Model No. DA 954 (Make DARK EYE) made of special PU (Poly Urethane) material and shall be able to quickly restore to its original state without damaging the vehicle and itself in case of a high speed collision. Highly reflective heat transfer sheet is pasted on specially designed grooves, making it highly visible from distance at night or in bad weather. Tensile strength and UV stabilizers enable to withstand the harsh weather conditions. To be installed with epoxy and other strong adhesives without damaging to roads or bridges including cost of labour, T&P whichever is required & adhesive as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and fixing Micro prismatic retro-reflective sheet conforming to Type XI in required colour which will be digitally printed matter, border & symbol etc of approved make and colour to create a desired information message on Gantry/Cantilever complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.
