OUTSOURCING OF MAINTENANCE SERVICES OF E/M INSTALLATIONS AND NARMADA WATER SUPPLY PUMP HOUSE AT AF STATION SAMANA UNDER GE (AF) JAMNAGRA NO. 1

Note:- (i) Contractor’s special attention is invited that the Estimated cost for M&O Part of this BOQ is Rs.45,42,869.00 based on prevailing rate of Schedule of Minimum fair wages. If the total quoted amount of M&O Part of the BOQ is less than the estimated cost of the same, then the lowest bidder will have to deposit FDR/BGB in favour of Accepting Officer within 07 days of opening of Financial Bid for the difference in estimated cost of M&O part & quoted amount of M&O part. (ii) In case the said FDR/BGB is not submitted within stipulated period as mentioned above, the contractor shall be banned for 06 months & their bid will be rejected and finance bid will not be opened. FDR/BGB submitted shall be released only after satisfactory completion of work on submission of proof of payment that all the person deployed under this contract has been paid not less than Schedule of Minimum fair wages as mentioned under Note No. 12.06 & 12.09 here in after.

MANNING AND OPERATION

Outsourcing of maintenance services for water supply installations at LOS pump house at AF station Samana, as directed & operation of DG Set in case of power supply failure for continuous operation with one operator per shift of 08 hours for 1 Shift in a day (including Sunday & holiday) all as specified and directed by Engg -in-charge. Note:- Minimum qualification of operator shall be 8th pass from recognize school with 2 year experience for performing similar type of work.

All as per Item No 1 above but water supply installations at MES Pump house with one operator per shift of 08 hours for 1 Shift in a day (including Sunday & holiday) all as specified and directed by Engg -in-charge Note:- Minimum qualification of operator shall be 8th pass from recognize school with 2 year experience for performing similar type of work.

All as per Item No 1 above but water supply installations at Radar pump house with one operator per shift of 08 hours for 1 Shift in a day (including Sunday & holiday) all as specified and directed by Engg -in-charge Note:- Minimum qualification of operator shall be 8th pass from recognize school with 2 year experience for performing similar type of work.

All as per Item No 1 above but water supply installations at SSQ Pump house with one operator per shift of 08 hours for 1 Shift in a day (including Sunday & holiday) all as specified and directed by Engg -in-charge Note:- Minimum qualification of operator shall be 8th pass from recognize school with 2 year experience for performing similar type of work.

All as per Item No 1 above but RO plant installations at SMQ / OMQ Area with one operator per shift of 08 hours for 1 Shift in a day (including Sunday & holiday) all as specified and directed by Engg -in-charge Note:- Minimum qualification of operator shall be 8th pass from recognize school with 2 year experience for performing similar type of work.

All as per Item No 1 above but water supply installations at Narmada pump house with one operator per shift of 08 hours for 1 Shift in a day (including Sunday & holiday) all as specified and directed by Engg -in-charge Note:- Minimum qualification of operator shall be 8th pass from recognize school with 2 year experience for performing similar type of work.

All as per Item No 1 above but Water receiving point from Village Daldevalia with one operator per shift of 08 hours for 1 Shift in a day (including Sunday & holiday) all as specified and directed by Engg -in-charge Note:- Minimum qualification of operator shall be 8th pass from recognize school with 2 year experience for performing similar type of work.

Outsourcing of maintenance services for HT / LT Electrical installation at Sub Station No. 1 at AF station Samana, as directed & operation of DG Set in case of power supply failure for continuous operation with one operator per shift of 08 hours for 3 Shifts in a day (including Sunday & holiday) all as specified and directed by Engg -in-charge :- Note:- Minimum qualification of operator shall be ITI certificate (Electrician) with 2 year experience for performing similar type of work.

All as per Item No 8 above but Sub station No 2 with one operator per shift of 08 hours for 2 Shifts in a day (including Sunday & holiday) all as specified and directed by Engg -in-charge Note:- Minimum qualification of operator shall be ITI certificate (Electrician) with 2 year experience for performing similar type of work.

All as per Item No 8 above but Sub station No 3 with one operator per shift of 08 hours for 1 Shift in a day (including Sunday & holiday) all as specified and directed by Engg -in-charge Note:- Minimum qualification of operator shall be ITI certificate (Electrician) with 2 year experience for performing similar type of work.

All as per Item No 8 above but Sub station No 4 (LOS) with one operator per shift of 08 hours for 1 Shift in a day (including Sunday & holiday) all as specified and directed by Engg -in-charge Note:- Minimum qualification of operator shall be ITI certificate (Electrician) with 2 year experience for performing similar type of work.

Note (i) Log book will be maintained by operator For Narmada Pump House/ Main receiving electrical substation as directed by Engg-In-Charge.

Notes for Item No 1 to 11

(i) Contractor/ his operator will be responsible to operate the all above plants / machinery when ever required and as asked / directed by AGE / JE during shift )

(ii) Necessary weekly off will be given to manpower employed under this work as per existing rules and regulation of state / central govt. and necessary replacement will be placed for installation as listed above. Rates quoted for this schedule shall deemed to be included this provision

(iii) In case absence of any operator / workmen from any shift will be penalized with a penalty of double the rate quoted by the contractor in addition to the shift not taken in to consideration for payment.

(iv) Attendant / Operator wanting leave will get it sanctioned before proceeding on leave along with the name of individual who will be performing his duty / shift in his absence. No replacement of operator / workmen without the knowledge of Engineer-in-Charge will be allowed.

(v) Safety equipment will be provided to all tradesman without any extra cost to government.

(vi) The contractor shall not pay wages lower than minimum wages for labour as fixed by Govt of India / State Govt. / Union Terrioritory (Whichever is higher) under Minimum Wages Act or Contract Labour (Abolition and Regulation Act). . For item Nos 1 to 7 of the BOQ, Minimum Wage for Semi-Skilled / Unskilled Supervisory category will be considered. For item No 8 to 11 of the BOQ, Minimum Wage for Highly Skilled category will be considered

(vii) Log book (Sheet), fuel consumption register, daily breakdown register and other requisite registers will be maintained by operator and get it signed by Engineer-In-Charge and contractor on daily basis and other details as specified in PS.

(viii)The contractor will also be responsible for restoring operation of installation even in case of major breakdown in system

(ix)Contractor special attention is invited that payment of operator / labour shall be made only through Account payee cheque and same shall be deposited in bank account of operator / labour. Documentary evidence for the same shall be submitted to Engineer -in-Charge before payment of RAR / Final bill.

(x) The Contractor shall maintain the attendance register for the operator employed by him and same shall be signed by JE & Engineer - in - Charge and will be produce at RAR / FB / or as and when required / demanded.

S&F in repair phase failure relay of auxiliary supply 415 V AC, 50 Hz. Make:- Minilec VSP D2 , Sr. No 2U1078 or equivalent of make approved by the GE

Supply and fix in repair MCCB 400 Amp, Three Pole, breaking capacity 35 KA, 415 V - 50 Hz,with adjustable thermal and magnetic setting fixed in existing panel & connecting complete all as specified & directed by Engr in charge. Make:- Havells/C&S/ABB

Supply and feed in tank calcium based high strength granular chlorination chemical (calcium hypochlorite having chlorine 65 % to 70%) for water treatement.Granular material shall be free of foreign material decomposing at 177 C soluble in water, not hygroscopic practically clear in water solution at saturation level. ..........

............... The material should not contain more than 5% to 10% moisture. Granule size should be as follows:- Mesh passing through 100 BSS, 1.5 % Maximum iron as Fe 0.05% maximum Mn 40 PPM maximum MOL wt 142.98, Toxicity oral rate LD 50-850 mg/Kg duly tested from manufacture or authorised dealer/distributor complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Brand name/batch number and complete particulars of manufacturer should be printed on the container/packing. Note:- Demand of this granular is given in different lot at different time during the contract period as per requirement prior notice to contractor by Engr-in-charge
