Surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm deep and averaging 15 cm deep & geeting out in soft/loose soil complete all as directed.

Excavating in trenches, not exc 1.5 metre wide and not exc 1.5 metre in depth, for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. laying cables, pipes, etc. not exc 10 Sqm on plan & not exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick complete all as specified and as directed.

Removal of excavated material [soil] to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for filling approved dry river sand for cushioning and cover for protection of under ground electric cable in trenches 8 cm before laying cable and 15 cm deep over the cable and punning to 18 cm total thickness complete all as specified and as directed. Notes :- (i) Approved dry sand free from vegetations, grass and other deleterious substances shall be used. (ii) For the purpose of payment, only punned thickness shall be measured.

Taking down carefully old existing HT PCC Cable Cover of Class EHV / HVP / HV of any type & size complete all as specified & as directed.

Laying only HT PCC cable covers of any type & size for protection of UG electric cables in trenches, obtained serviceable from item No. 06 here-in-above, complete all as specified & as directed.

Supplying and laying un-reinforced precast cement concrete cable covers, ISI Marked, Class HV, Flat, Type-1, size 300 mm x 180 mm x 40mm in trenches for cable protection, embossed with "ELECTRIC" on the top surface complete all as specified and as directed. Make : Mehtab tiles / Ultra tiles / Sirex / Scorpio/ Sukhi tiles or any other ISI marked cover as approved by GE.

Taking down carefully old existing LT PCC Cable Cover of Class LV of any type & size complete all as specified & as directed.

Laying only LT PCC cable covers of any type & size for protection of UG electric cables in trenches, obtained serviceable from item No. 09 here-in-above, complete all as specified & as directed.

Supply and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, ISI marked, Class LV, Flat, Type-1, size 250mm x 150mm x 40mm for protection of underground cable in trenches complete all as specified and as directed. Make : Mehtab tiles / Ultra tiles / Sirex / Scorpio/ Sukhi tiles or any other ISI marked cover as approved by GE.

M&L for factory made M-35 grade, 60 mm thick machine pressed, PVC moulded precast cement concrete interlocking paver blocks of shape and size as directed with grey cement and pigment confirming to IS: 15658-2006, laid over and including 50 mm thick compacted sand cushion complete all as specified and as directed. Notes : (i) Quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of 50 mm thick compacted sand cushoning. (ii) Shape of paver blocks shall be as approved by the GE

Supply, laying, jointing and testing HT XLPE (cross linked polyethylene) insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured electric power cable (heavy duty) with aluminium stranded conductor 11000 Volt (Earthed) grade of cross sectional area 95 Sqmm, 3 Core (ISI marked) laid in trenches/ducts, through pipe, under floors or roads/ along poles etc, including dismantling & taking out old unserviceable HT cable, complete all as specified & as directed. Note : Sand cushioning, cable protection covers, protection pipe, jointing kits and excavation & earth work shall be measured & paid for separately.

M&L for cutting of existing road for removing / laying UG Cables/ pipe line, depth of cutting not exceeding 90cm and width 45cm and filling the trench of road i.e. excluding top 15cm with existing aggregate obtained from cutting, watered and properly rammed to satisfaction of EIC and finally provide with & including 15 cm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate to entire width of trench & finally match the top surface to road & disposal of debris to a distance not exceeding 250 metre and depositing where directed complete all as directed.

Supply and laying/fixing 50 mm bore high density polyethylene pipes (HDPE) of pressure rating 6 kgf/cm2 with all fittings, laid in trenches, under floors or roads/ along poles etc for protection of electric cables complete all as directed.

M&L for Galvanized iron tubing, 100mm bore light grade, ISI marked, including all fittings and laid in trenches/under road/drains, fixed to poles/walls etc with required size of flat iron (minimum 25mmx3mm) clamps, bolts, nuts and washers for protection of HT/LT electric cable including taking down old unserviceable protection pipe with clamps complete all as specified & as directed. Note :- Excavation & earthwork shall be measured & paid for separately.
