Repair and maint of transformer/UG cable and connected work at Garhi Cantt under GE Dehradun

Disconnecting all electrical connections of transformers upto 250 KVA, dismounting from structure, draining out oil in barrels, transporting the tranformer and barrels to the workshop for necessary repairs, transporting back to the site, reinstalling on platform or structure (four/two pole) as directed, commissioning & testing including making all arrangments (cranes, truck etc.) for lifting and transportation complete. Note: Item rate incl necessary transport, tools & plant and labour, lugs thimbles, PVC sleeves, etc required for shifting, installation, connection and commissioning of transformer.

All as per item 1 but transformer of capacity above 300 KVA but upto 500 KVA.

Dismantling and opening up for repair transformer up to 250 KVA, removing & lifting up top plate of transformer, taking out burnt oil seal, stud, nut, bolt, HT bushing, off load tap changer, butcholz relay, gate valve, dead plug etc. taking out of the compete core and winding, cleaning the tank thoroughly, carrying out necessary repairs for minor leakages (if any), refixing core in it's position after repairs, reassemling the complete transformer, tanking up oil collected in barrels and toping up extra oil (if required), dehydration of oil and testing of transformer complete. (Notes : 1. Repair/replacement of core and winding, new oil and other accessories shall be measured and paid for separately. 2. Minor parts such as nut, bolts, lugs, copper wire/strips for connections etc. are included in the rates quoted for this item.)

All as per item 3 but transformer of capacity above 300 KVA but up to 500 KVA.

M&L for repairs to unserviceable transformer core, rewinding with fresh copper wire or strip including insulation paper, bobins etc, drying up in the hot air oven till the moisture is removed & insulation resistance improves to the desired level complete for the following size transformers:-

(b) 300 KVA to 350 KVA

(c) 200 to 250 KVA

(d) 100 KVA to160 KVA

M&L for repairs to unserviceable transformer core, rewinding with fresh aluminium wire or strip including insulation paper, bobins etc, drying up in the hot air oven till the moisture is removed & insulation resistance improves to the desired level complete for the following size transformers:-

Note for item No 5&6:- (i) Repairs shall be got done from the workshop authorised by UPCL for repairs of such capacity transformers having complete facility for such repairs and testing. (ii) Necessary routine tests as per IS shall be done at workshop and after installation and certificate shall be submitted before commissioning of transformer. (iii) After repairs and conducting necessary tests, test certificate shall be submitted before commissioning of transformer. (iv) Old winding shall be removed and cut in the presence of Engr-in-Charge. (v) New winding shall be of the same specifications as existing winding. (vi) Any defect observed during defect liablity period shall be rectified by the contractor without any extra cost. (vii) Make of the transformers shall be accessed from the site/Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for painting with two coats of enamel paint of approved colour over a coat of red oxide metal primer after scrapping thoroughly the existing corroded paint, dirt/dust, oil and grease from the steel surface of the for the following size transformers complete. Make: DUCO of ICI or any other equivalent make and brand.

(a) Transformer upto 100 KVA (11/0.433 KV)

(b) Transformer above 100 KVA but upto 200 KVA (11/0433KV)

(c) Transformer above 200 KVA but upto 500 KVA (11/0433KV)

Supply and fix transformer off load tap changer suitable for 400 to 500 KVA transformers 11 KV/433 volts minimum five steps type including removing the existing u/s one complete all as specified.

All as per Item No 8 here and above but below 400 KVA

Supply & for topping up the new transformer oil or in replacement in transformers and voltage stabilizers in situ complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Oil shall be in company sealed barrels with BDv not less than 40 KV at 2.5 mm gap. Make: Savita/Power oil/Castrol/Apar

S&F silica gel dark blue type laboratory grade in the transformer including removing the old one complete all as specified.

Filtration/dehyderartion of the existing transformer oil at site in transformers and voltage stabilizers of any make and capacity, upto required dielectric strength as per IE rules complete.(The diectric strength should not be less than 50 KV after filtration process) (ii) Topping up of transformer oil as well as dehyderation shall be done on same day.

Supply and fix in replacement of alluminium body silica gel breathers of standard size suitable for 400 to 500 KVA transformers 11 KV/433 volts transparent type including removing the existing u/s one complete all as specified.

All as per item No 13 here and above but for tranformers below 400 KVA.

Supply and fix in replacement transformer oil temperature gauge of standard size suitable for 100 to 500 KVA transformers 11 KV/433 volts analogue type including removing the existing u/s one complete all as specified.

Supply and fixing in replacement of HT bushing with brass studs 11 KV incl gasket nut bolts washers etc complete suitable for any type or any size of transformer incl removing the existing u/s one complete all as specified.

Supply and fixing in replacement of brass LT studs incl gasket nut bolts insulator washer etc complete suitable for transformer of cap upto 200 KVA incl removing the existing u/s one complete all as specified.

All as per Item No 17 here and above but of cap from 250 to 500 KVA

Disconnecting all electrical connections of transformers outdoor type upto 200 KVA HT 11KV/433 V 3 phase, 50Hz with off load tapping and standard fitting , dismounting from platform or structure (four/two pole) as directed, shifting to proposed site (within jurisdiction of GE Dehradun), reinstalling on platform or structure (four/two pole) as directed, connecting up, testing with proper load balancing as per engineering practice, confirming to IS 2026 including connected panel all as directed including making all arrangments (cranes, truck etc.) for lifting and transportation complete. Note: Item rate incl necessary transport, tools & plant and labour lugs thimble PVC sleeves etc required for shifting, installation, connection and commissioning of transformer.

All as per item No 19 here and above but 250 to 500 KVA

M&L for repair to servo stabilizer 25 KV incl transportation of stabilizer to workshop and dismantling of all parts incl taking out of coil assembly, repair to winding and baking for removal of moisture, replacement of oil seal, stud, nut, bolt, repair to servo motor, replacement to faulty cards etc and making all necessary wiring and minor repair for automatic operation of servo stabilizer complete incl fixing of repaired servo stabilizer to MH Dehradun complete incl all necessary connections complete all as directed by Engr in Charge. (Windings, dehydration of oil, new oil and other accessories shall be measured and paid for separately)

S&F in replacement switch air break gang operated triple pole out door type with drop out switch fuse unit on HT 11 KV 50 cycle AC suitable for current rating upto 200 Amps mechanically operated mounted on insulators (12 insulators, cast resin) and frame with operating mechanism workable from ground level including locking arrangement complete all as directed Make :- Elpro/Pactil/Alstom/MEI/ATLAS

S&F in replacement horn gap type fuses 11KV mounted on post insulators with gun metal clamps and copper horn complete of required capacity to suit load at site including two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer on MS work complete all as specified and directed. Make :- Elpro/Pactil/Alstom/MEI/ATLAS

Disconnecting all electrical connections of LT panel , dismounting from foundation, shifting to proposed site (within jurisdiction of GE Dehradun), reinstalling on foundation as directed, connecting up with power transformer and outgoing/incoming feeders, testing with proper load balancing as per engineering practice confirming to IS, including making all arrangments (cranes, truck etc.) for lifting and transportation complete all as directed Engr in charge. Note: Item rate incl necessary transport, tools & plant, labour, LT connection cables , earthwork and PCC for foundation etc required for shifting, installation and commissioning complete.
