BRIDGE GIRDER: Bridge Girder shall be of Single Girder Box type fabricated out of standard Rolled steel/ tested steel plates. The total vertical deflection of the girder for the live load but excluding impact shall not exceed 1/750 of the span. POWER SUPPLY: 400/440 V ± 10%, 3 phase, 50 Cs ± 5%, Ac supply shall be arranged by your scope. END CARRIAGE: End carriage shall be fabricated from rolled steel channel and plates. WHEELS: Long travel wheels shall be of forged Steel and mounted antifriction bearings. Material of wheels shall be C55 Mn75 and hardness shall be 250 – 300 BHN. CONSTRUCTION OF HOIST: Hoists have a UNIQUE MODULAR CONSTRUCTION which makes them an ideal choice since each subassembly such as motors, brake, gear box, control panel is an independent unit and hence easily accessible individually, thus reducing the time and cost involved in the maintenance. GEAR BOX: Totally enclosed oil bath lubricated main gear box houses the gears machined out of Alloy Steel and teethed on precision hobbling machines. This shall be of greaves premium make. ROPE DRUM: Rope drum will be fabricated out of seamless pipe duly machined and grooved to accommodate full length of wire rope in one layer. The drum will be mounted on antifriction ball / roller bearings. HOOK: Drop forged `C' type swiveling hook conforming to IS: 3815 supported on thrust bearings. This shall be of SMRITI FORGING/ KARAN ENGG make. LIMIT SWITCH: Limit switch shall be provided for Hoisting, Cross Travel and Long Travel motion of crane. These shall be of SNS / SOC make. CONTROL PANEL : The control panel of the hoist shall be IP 55 protected and consists of HRC fuses, reversing air break contactors, thermal overload relays, step down transformers, etc. These shall be of ABB / L&T / SIEMENS / TELEMECHANIQUE make. POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM Cross Travel: Flexible PVC Copper Cables moving on MS Cable Trolley Supported by ‘C’-RAIL SYSTEM shall be used. Long Travel: Recommended shrouded type DSL System. PAINTING: The crane will be thoroughly cleaned and apply one coat of red oxide primer and two coats of synthetic enamel paint. CONTROL: From floor by means of Pendent Push Button Station at an operating VVF Control operation Long Travel. GUARANTEE : Guarantee for a period of 24 months from the date of commissioning
