PROVN OF SOIL TESTING FOR PROVN OF DEFICIENT MARRRIED ACCOMMODATION TYPE V TYPE II AND FAMILY WELFARE CENTRE AT DAHANU

1. Soil investigation for "Provision of deficient Md accn type-V, type-II and family welfare centre at Dahanu" as per IS 1892 of 1979. (a) Arrangement of man power and machinery for drilling 150 mm dia bore hole in soil and 100 mm dia in rock by rotary drilling in ground upto a depth of 18 m from natural ground including conducting SPT at every 1.0 m interval and change of strata, collection of disturbed/undisturbed soil sample as well as rock core sample at various depth from GL and including 01 Number of trial pit for every job of (size 1.2m x 1.2m) ,5.00m away from bore hole and other tests required for designing the foundation as directed conducting tests viz triaxial test, direct shear test, atterbergs limits etc all as per relevant IS Codes. (i) Boring accordance with IS 1895 (ii) Sampling as per IS-2132-1986. (iii) SPT to correlate the strata, denseness & stifness in accordance with IS-2131-1991. (iv) Ground water table. (v) Sub soil proble (vi) field dry density & field moisture contents in accordance with IS-2720-1993. (vii) Atterbergs limits in accordance with OS-2720-1985. (viii) Particle size distribution in accordance with IS-2720 Part-IV. (ix) Specific gravity in accordance with IS-2720 Part-3 (x) Shear parameters on accordance with IS-2720 Part 13. (xi) Consolidation characteristic in accordance with IS-2720 Part -XV (xii) Swelling parameters (xiii) unconfined compressive strength value (xiv) Soil bearing capacity (SBC) (xv) Design parameters (xvi) Recommendations as regards liquefactori of soil, stabilization, type of foundation to be adopted and any other specific requirements. (b) Submission of soil investigation report in Quintuplicate comprising of investigation, scope of work, and project details, field tests,suggestion for improvement if any, settlement criteria/calculation incorporating type of soil in pressure bulb zone highest water table SBC, recommendation at particular depth considering water table, type of foundation to be adopted, all test results bore log chart, profile of log and safe bearing capacity calculations at various depth. (c) Test report should include all the tests as required for design the foundation such as SPT values bore logs, soil classifications and also should cover the general recommendations for proposed type of foundations system, safe bearing capacity likely total settlements etc. The report shall be submitted in quintuplicate duly bounded in a presentable maner. The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include the cost of submission of such reports and sample of soil. Photographic record of Geo-Exploration as well as testing shall also form part of the report. (d) No water will be supplied by the department for carry out the soil investigation test. Contractor/ Consultant will make their own arrangement of water required for necessary bore well and other testing.
