REPAIR CLEANING OF SEWAGE LINE MANHOLE AND SEPTIC TANKS IN POCKET NO 7 AND 8 IN THE AREA OF AGE B R III UNDER GE ROORKEE

M&L for cleaning of blocked / chocked CI pipe line of 100 mm dia from WC to gully trap, manhole or from cleaning eyes in any depth by rodding or by mechanical means and well flushing the complete line including removing of sludge / waste to low lying areas within 200 m distance and burried the same properly to the entire satisfaction of Engineer- in- Charge with and including taking out and re-fixing of manhole covers in cement mortar (1:4) as and where required complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning of blocked WC, Gully trap, Nahani trap including cleaning line from WC trap to first manhole complete all as directed.

Taking off existing cover of septic tank, cesspool, soakwell, soakpit or manhole and cleaning of septic tank and connecting chamber by pumping out water / sludge including taking out mud, sludge etc from tank and removing to a distance exc 50 mtr but n.exc 100 mtr, burried in trenches not less than 1.00 mtr deep from ground level and refilling the trenches with excavated soil to cover sludge properly complete all as directed by Engineer in charge. Note:- Cost of excavation of trenches, returning filling and disposal of surplus soil as required to be deemed included in the quoted rates.

Cleaning and removing all scale and dirt etc from PVC/RCC tanks of capacity n.exc 500 Ltr and mouths of circulating pipes etc including cleaning and washing with clean water complete all as specified and directed. Note Applicable to Serial Item Nos 1.00 to 5.00:- The contractor's attention is invited towards the following elements during execution of work:- (i) The complaint like floor trap, gully trap, WC blockage etc shall be cleaned within 24 Hrs (One day) from the issue of the complaint. (ii) The complaint of sewage line block, manhole block shall be cleaned within 48 Hrs (Two Days) from the issue of the complaint. (iii) Cleaning of Septic tank / Soak well shall be carriedout within 03 to 04 days from the issue of complaint. (iv) Minimum two labourers shall report daily at Complaint Cell of AGE B/R III Roorkee Cantt. (v) A recovery of Rs 250/- per day for each complaint to be imposed to the contractor for non attending / clearing the complaint within the stipulated time as mentioned above. (vi) Rs 500/- per day to be recovered from the contractor for absence of each labourer. (vii) Proper Attendance/ complaint register to be maintained by the contractor & department jointly in appropriate format and to be produced to GE on demand.

Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5 m wide and n.exc 1.5 m in depth for cesspit, manhole etc and getting out in soft/loose soil even in foul position complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25 cm in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 150 mm bore (internal dia of pipe) Salt Glazed Stoneware drain pipe grade ‘A’ laid in trenches and jointed with cement mortar including demolition and breaking up of existing drain pipe (SGSW/PVC/RCC etc) set in cement mortar complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 100 mm bore (internal dia of pipe) Salt Glazed Stoneware drain pipe grade ‘A’ laid in trenches and jointed with cement mortar including demolition and breaking up of existing drain pipe (SGSW/PVC/RCC etc) set in cement mortar complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC (1:4:8) type D2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in concrete bed to 100 mm bore drain pipe including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes after laying, jointing & testing complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC (1:4:8) type D2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in concrete bed to 150 mm bore drain pipe including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes after laying, jointing & testing complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for brick work with old size sub class ‘B’ bricks in cement mortar (1:4, straight or curved on plan exc 6 meter mean radious for drain, manhole, septic tank, soak pit etc including demolition of old brick work built in cement mortar for cracked/damaged wall portions etc in foul position complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down cement or cement lime plaster of any description on brick or stone walls, RCC wall surfaces etc including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down wih water, etc in any position complete all a specified and directed.

M&L for 15 mm thick rendering in cement mortar (1:4) on inner / outer surfaces of manhole walls / concrete surfaces, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as pecified and directed.

M&L for PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in copping, benching of manhole / drain, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating including finishing the surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement including demolition of un-renforced cement concrete in ground floors and pavings n.exc 15 cm thickness below or above ground level complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparing newly plastered surfaces of walls and applying three coats of white wash complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repair 110mm PVC (SWR) bends of any radius complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repair 110 mm PVC (SWR) branch piece, double (double Y) equal or unequal with oval access door complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repair 110 mm PVC (SWR) junction single, (single T) equal or unequal with oval access door complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repair 75mm PVC (SWR) floor trap with grating including jointing with solvent cement, dismantling of old floor trap of any description and making good the surfaces to match the existing surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair 110 mm PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed in any length with rubber ring joints, fixed to walls as rain water pipe and similar work including taking down old pipe of any description complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair 75 mm PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed in any length with rubber ring joints, fixed to walls as rain water pipe and similar work including taking down old pipe of any description complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for precast RCC (1:2:4) type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in cover slab for manholes and similar article with plain fair faces, set in cement mortar (1:4) including demolition of old manhole cover slabs of manhole or septic tank / soak pit complete all as specified and directed.

S&F deformed or twisted TMT steel bars 8 mm dia, cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking, bending and binding with & including MS wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs Vitreous china squating pan Orissa pattern of size 580X440mm, white with integral foot rest (excluding flushing cistern and flush pipe) and fixed complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs PVC low level flushing cistern of 10 ltrs capacity with ball valve , float and handle including bracket complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Non - skid Ceramic coloured tiles 7 to 8 mm thick (square/ rectangular), area of each tile exc 0.06 Sqm but n.exc 0.11 Sqm, laid in floors etc over and including 15 mm thick screed bed or bedding layer in cement mortar (1:4), set and jointed in neat grey cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match including dismantling old floor, hearth or wall tiling/ kota stone including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Glazed ceramic coloured tiles of size 300x 200x 7 mm / 350 x 250 x 7 mm / 450 x 350 x 7 mm thick as in vertical surfaces such as skirting, dados etc, laid over 10mm thick rendering coat in cement mortar (1:4), set and jointed in neat grey cement slurry and pointed in coloured cement to match the surface including dismantling old floor, hearth or wall tiling/ kota stone including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and directed.
