Excavation in foundation and trenches etc. (for pipe and pits) up to all depth and in all kind of soil such as pick work, jumper work, saturated soil including bailing or pumping out water, blasting in soft / hard rock, chiseling / wedging out of same where blasting is prohibited in all lead and lift including trimming and dressing of side, leveling of beds to correct grade including shoring, strutting, planking timbering and dewatering where ever required, stacking the usable and unusable and un-usable materials/soil separately and after laying, jointing and testing of pipes, returning the useful soil trenches in 15 cm layers by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated soil/unusable materials as directed with in all leads/lifts including restoration of unmetered/unmetered surfaces to its original conditions and including cost of diversion of traffic, night signals, fixing caution boards, crossing over trenches for access to houses, fencing etc. complete in all respects within all leads and lift as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Laying, jointing and testing in trenches of galvanized GMS pipe including cost of flanged bends of all degrees conforming to IS:1239-2004, as per dimensions, weight and test pressure mentioned below in a random length of 4m-7m. Negative tolerance in thickness and mass/weight will not be accepted. The M.S. flanges are to be provided 1% of total joints and remaining 99% joints with butt welded joint as per table below conforming to IS: 6392-1971 (latest up to date amendments) and welding of flanges with pipes as per IS: 816-1965 with a electrode as per IS: 814-1967 including required Nos. and size of M.S. nut and bolts as per IS: 1369-1967 and compressed asbestos fiber jointing gaskets sheet not less than 3mm thick as per IS: 2712-1965. The welding of flanges to be done on both faces in two layers to make the joints leak proof and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge. The laying of pipes should be conformed to IS: 5822-1994 (earth work in trenches, MS flanges and butt welded joint to measured and paid separately) Mass of zinc coating not less than 400 gm/m² . The pipe shall have zinc coating as per IS 4736 in factory latest with upto date ammendements complete in all respects within all leads and lift as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Pumping Machinery:-Supply of submersible pumping set of KSB /KIRLOSKAR/ HINDUSTAN/Johnstion make comprising to latest relevant BIS Code. The pump should be fitted with bronze impeller of suitable alloys as per IS 8034-1976/ latest suitable for Clear Water having greased packed bearings and shaft with wound stator on motor side and with soft protection sleeve on pump side ensuring better life for shaft coupled to a submersible squirrel cage electric induction motor (water proof type) of required HP, RPM 2900/1450 of reputed make conforming to BIS: 9283-1979 latest with upto date amendments, totally dust and water proof for submersible duty isolated from the pump by intermediate casing with double mechanical seal in oil chamber and grease packed lubricated bearings and provided with stainless steel thrust bearing plate to with stand non vertical loads with minimum wear and tear. It should also be fitted with a device to take up expansion of water with the heating of motor. The pump set should include water level guards, erection clamps , cable clips and depth gauge etc. and suitable for operation on data given below:-

Supply of PVC joint less flat water proof cable as per IS: 694-1990 latest with upto date amendments suitable for the pump sets offered from MCB to motor including all other electrical equipment / accessories such as thimbles, flexible pipes solder, nuts and bolts, cable glands etc laid in pipes of trenches under floor. The type, size and make will be subject to approval of HPSEB authorities & in case of non acceptance by HPSEB authorities it shall have to be replaced by tender.
Providing and laying double loop earthing with G.I. wire & G.I plate complete with material such as charcoal, common salt, GI. Pipes, thimbles, nuts and bolts, digging of pits, GI. Wiring and aluminum strips of required capacity conforming to BIS: 3043-1987 latest with upto date amendments for above motors and other electrical equipment’s.
