M & L for 15cm thick (compacted thickenss) in 2 layers of 7.5cm each WBM with coarse aggregate of grading 2 (63 to 40 mm size) sub base layer and grading 3 (50 to 20mm base layer, spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required by using granite or trap, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 15 cm thick EXCEPT MATERIALS (compacted thickenss) in 2 layers of 7.5cm each WBM with coarse aggregate of grading 2 (63 to 40 mm size) sub base layer and grading 3 (50 to 20mm base layer, spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required by using granite or trap, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for premix bituminous macadam (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) using 4% binder (paving bitumen VG-30) content by weight of total mix laid with mechanical paver finisher, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using 8 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparing of existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat of paving bitumen VG-10 @ 5 kg per 10 Sqm and laying semi dense asphaltic concrete (Design mix) 30mm consolidated thickness with binder content VG-30 @ 5.5 % by weight of total mix with hydrostatic sensor paver finisher, rolled and consolidated with power roller exc 8 tonne but not exc 12 tonne capacity to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed.

M & L liquid seal coat, applying evenly binder VG-30 @ 9.8 kg/10 Sqm wire mechanical sprayer blinding with 6.3mm (down graded upto stone dust) stone chippings @ 0.09 cum/10 Sqm and rolled to a uniform smooth and sealed surface with 8 to 12 tonne rollder, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L stone kerb of roughly squared stones of size 15 cm x 30cm, all surfaces hammer dressed so that the maximum depression form a stright edge held against the dressed surface shall not exceed 20mm jointed in cement mortar 1:6 and struck flush complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repairs ABS body twin moulded shank Cat eyes of size 90x110x17mm with both side red/yellow colour reflector, fixed with epoxy on road surface complete all as specified and directed. Make :- 290 series of 3M or equivalent make as approved by GE.

M&L for repair to pot holes of depth exc 30 mm, n.exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc, cutting arounds edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat of paving bitumen @ 5 kg per 10 sqm putting premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder (paving bitumen) 9.8 kg per 10 sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) complete all as specified and directed.

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exc 400 sqm and exc 50 mm but n.exc 100 mm deep and removing to a distance not exceeding 50m and stacking complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparing unsurfaced/water bound macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all dirt etc and applying evenly a tack coat with bituminous primer (paving bitumen) @ 10 Kg/ 10 Sqm onunsurfaced WBM surfaces and providing 40mm thick (consolidated thickness) bituminous premixed semi dence asphaltic concrete with 5.5 % binder content by weight of total mix, laid with self propelling mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with power roller using paving bitumen as binder, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cleaning and preparing the road surface and applying/marking with reflective thermoplastic white/yellow road marking paint conforming to BIS-3262, laid through road marking paint application machine in a 2.5mm thick layer of CRYSTALEX using 5 Kg material per square meter by incorporating the white glass beads 250 gms/Sqm for reflectivity of lines,dashes, arrows, zebra marking etc all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Unit rate quoted by the contractor deemed to include for provision of red signals to keep off trafic from green work, cleaning road surface and working during odd hours when traffic is light. (ii) The line marking shall stand out boldly and solidly without showing signs of scratch marks or surfaces underneath, if necessary, the surface shall be remarked after removal of existing treatment until the desired result is obtained. Make :- Asian Paints, Berger Paints & Shalimar Paints as approved by GE.

S & F in replacement solar cat eyes (studs) made of aluminium dicasted body, 100% waterproof, both side reflectors, designed according to IP 65 of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm with shank not less than 60mm length, high efficiency mono crystaline solar panel(2.5 V/0.3 watt), one Ni-Mh or Ni-cd rechargable battery (1.2 V/1600 MA) having six super bright LEDs with 10000 to 18000 mcd (millicandela), view distance upto 1000 metre and flush road bearing capacity 10 MT, fixing in road by drilling a hole and with epoxy hardner etc as per manufacturer's instructions at the location complete all as specified and directed.
