Note :- Repair/ Maintenance/ updating including operation and regular maintenance of the Automatic water supply system shall be carried out through Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) i.e. M/S Recktronic Devices & Systems or through their authorized agent. The contractor shall submit documentary proof/evidence in this regard to the Engineer-in-Charge before execution of Work. In case of authorised agent, MoU documents of authorization shall be provided to the Engineer-in-Charge before execution of work.

Demolition of brickwork/PCC block or stone/boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc and removal of entire debris as ordered outside MoD land complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavating in trenches, not exc 1.5 metre wide and not exc 1.5 metre in depth, for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. laying cables, pipes, etc. not exc 10 Sqm on plan & not exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

All same as per serial item No 2 here-in-above but depth exc 1.5 m and not exc 3.0 m -do-

Returning, filling in trenches, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick in soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mts and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 M above the starting point complete all as directed.

M&L for cement concrete 1:3:6 type C1, using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in stand posts, cills, steps, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates and the like including weathering, slightly rounded, chamfered angle and throating as directed including use and waste of form work (straight or curved) all exposed surface of concrete finished fair complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for brick work with old size Fly Ash bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6.00 metre mean radius, built in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for cutting of existing PCC floor / hardstanding / Interlocking tiles path / WBM road with soling & premix carpet of any description for removing / laying UG Cables/ pipe line, depth of cutting not exceeding 90cm and width 45cm and filling the trench of road i.e. excluding top 20cm with existing aggregate obtained from cutting, watered and properly rammed to satisfaction of EIC and finally provide with & including 20 cm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate to entire width of trench & finally match the top surface to road & disposal of debris to a distance not exceeding 250 metre and depositing where directed complete all as directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (un-reinforced) in ground floor and paving not exceeding 15 cm thick (above or below ground level) and removal of entire debris as ordered outside MoD land complete all as directed.

M&L for 100mm thick PCC 1:4:8, type D2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in sub-floors, sub-bases, floors and pavings, etc finished fair and even complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for factory made M-35 grade, 60 mm thick machine pressed, rubber moulded precast cement concrete interlocking paver blocks of shape and size as directed with grey cement and pigment confirming to IS: 15658-2006 (ISI marked), laid over and including 50 mm thick compacted sand cushion complete all as specified and as directed. Notes : (i) Quoted rate shall deemed to be inclusive of 50 mm thick compacted sand cushioning. (ii) Shape of paver blocks shall be as approved by the GE.

M&L for rendering 10 mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces, finished fair & even complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of newly plastered / unplastered surfaces of walls & applying three coats of white wash complete all as specified.

Taking up or down old rusted/ worn out GI tubing & connections of 15 mm bore fixed in any position and S&F new 15 mm bore galvanized steel water tubing medium grade (ISI Marked) with & including all necessary fittings (ISI Marked) such as bend, tee, elbow, etc laid in trenches/ floors or fixed on wall and ceiling complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Excavation & earthwork shall be measured & paid for separately.

Supply and fixing Cast iron fittings (ISI marked) upto 200 mm bore such as bends (any type, radius & angle), Tapers any type (straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc), Tee pieces, single branch, “Y” junction, double branch, cross (all sockets or socket & spigot), collars, caps & plugs suitable for spigot & socketed pipes, complete, fixed in repairs, all as specified & directed.

Supply & fixing cast iron body sluice valve heavy duty class ‘PN-1.6’ of 80 mm bore, ISI marked with IS 14846, both flanged ends and drilled, high tensile stainless steel spindle, CI gate with brass ring, non rising type, cast iron wheel handle, cast iron cap, with 3mm thick neoprene rubber gasket joint and nuts, bolts (high tensile), washers etc, and testing, including dismantling & taking out old unserviceable sluice valve of 80 mm bore, complete all as specified & as directed.

Attending day to day water supply complaints such as no water supply/ low water supply and water leakage from GI tubing & fittings/fixtures of 15 mm to 25 mm bore by checking the nature of defects and rectification work to be carried out by replacing requisite materials, testing complete on completion of work, excavating in any type of soil, returning, filling and disposal of surplus soil if any as directed. Notes : (i) Material such as GI tubing, valve, etc and excavation/ earth work required for rectification work shall be measured and paid under relevant items. (ii) Excavation & earth work required for rectification work shall be measured and paid under relevant items. (iii) Minor stores such as washers, taflon tape, small size nuts, bolts, clamps, etc shall be provided by the contractor and cost thereof shall be inclusive in quoted rates. The decision of Accepting Officer will be final and binding regarding extent to which the items can be considered as minor. (iv) Requisite T&P and transportation for tradesman to rectify the defects shall be contractor’s responsibility. (v) The contractor / his representative shall collect the complaint slip from MES complaint cell / concerned JE E/M every day at 9.00 AM and deposit the complaint slip duly signed by the users to concerned JE E/M after rectification of complaint.

Repair/ Maintenance/ updating including operation and regular maintenance of the Automatic water supply system excluding spares. Carrying out complete maintenance/ servicing/ Repairs with establishing Ladder Logic Programming as required of all the sub system viz. PLC based control panels (with all the Memories), breakdown maintenance all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge on following location :- Establishing Ladder Logic programming Automation Control Panel at location: Main Pump House, Pump House No.2, NEUJ Pump House, Bedi Well Pump House No.1 & 2, Bedi OHT, OHT No.3, OHT No.5, OHT No. 10, 11 & 12 and MIMIC Panel at Main Pump House. Notes:- (i) Unit rate quoted by tenderer shall inclusive of checking of system fortnightly and necessary servicing, repair and daily printing log sheets data on hourly basis and to be submitted to EIC and the register shall be maintained to that effect. (ii) In addition to above specific emergency complaints from time to time shall be attended after receiving the same. description of item contd....

M&L for construction of Valve pit chamber of size 1200x1200x1200mm internal dimension including necessary excavation & earth work in any type of soil, PCC 1:4:8 type D2 in foundation, brick work with old size fly ash bricks in CM 1:4, 15 mm thick plaster in CM 1:4 internally and externally flush pointed in same mortar as work proceeds, 75 mm thick PCC coping all round in PCC 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate), flooring shall be 40 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate laid over 75 mm thick hard core. Top cover shall be made out of MS sheet 3.00 mm thick fixed in angle iron frame made out of angle iron size 40x40x6 mm with two number of hinges on one side and locking arrangement at other side complete including painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer complete all as specified and directed including dismantling of old existing unserviceable vale pit chamber. Note : Any minor modification where required at site shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates. The decision of GE shall be final and binding regarding extent to which the change can be considered as minor.
