M&L for Diesel Engine Generating set 415 volts 62.5 KVA 3 -phase 0.8 power factor 50 Hz, 1500 RPM self exicited self regulated brushless AC generator installed including accoustic enclosure suitable for ambient at Jamnagar and confirming to condition under IS 4722/1460,BS 5514/2613/5000 ISO 8526/3046 with following :- NOTE:- (i) The capacity of Generator set shall be net after all due derating factors as per relevant ISI standard.

(ii) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of first fill of lubricant oil and final successful acceptance test.

(ii) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of 12 hours test run at site including of one hour on 10% overload in presence of IEM or testing officer detailed by HQ CWE Ahmedabad, all arrangements are to be made by the contractor for tests.

(A). Alternator:- Standard design alternator rated at 62.5 KVA net output at site after considering derating as per site conditions at 0.8 (lag) power factor regulated screen protected drip proof IP 23 enclosure brushless design with winding in pole faces, insulating class 'H' and voltage regulation of + 1%, at rated voltage from no load to full load. The alternator shall be confirming to BS 2613/5000 and shall be inposition to generate supply with frequency regulation with in + 1% tolerace. The alternator will be suitable for tropical climate and shall generally confirm to BS - 2613/5000/ IS - 4722-2006

(i) Insulation class - 'H'

(ii) Temparature rise Class - 'H'

(iii) Excitation : Self Excited

(iv) Regulation performance: The voltage is kept constant with +1% manual voltage adjustment within + 5%.

(v) Frequency regulation +1%

(B) Diesel Engine:- Adequate capacity Diesel engine suitable for 62.5 KVA coupled drive independently above alternator and after considering derating as per site conditons after generating and reducing power consumed by accessories, directly coupled through flexible coupling, multi cylinder multi stroke direct injection, cold starting 1500 RPM, as per relevant ISI / BS - 5514 with an overload capacity of 10% for one hour in 12 hours continuous running complete with standard accessories all as specified and required for safe handling and operation salient features of accessories shall be as under:-

(i) Fly wheel with housing

(ii) Cooling system:- Mounted radiator with fan & belts

(iii) Cooling Water pump:- Centrifugal type belt driven.

(iv) Exhaust System :- Exhaust System complete with exhaust piping of Exhaust gas turbo charger type Exhaust manifold

Silencer : Residential type Bellows

(v) fuel System :- Fuel injection system with fuel injectors, fuel injection Fuel filters

(vi) Lub oil System:- Lubricating oil filter Lubricating oil pump

(vii) Air Intake System :- Air intake Manifold Air cleaner dry type

(viii) Starting System :- Electric Self starter with maintenace free batteries including battery charging alternator.

(ix) Batteries:- 1 Nos. Maintenece free Batteries of 12 VOLT 180 AH capacity complete with copper conductor multistranded leads of suitable length from self starter to the battary terminals complete with initial charge and initial fill of electrolite all as specified.

(x) Generator Monitoring Panel : Comprising of following

(i) Auto Main Failure (AMF) panel made out of 2 mm CRCA sheet, powder coated of conforming to IS 8623 totally enclosed dust and vermin proof with copper bus bar capacity required to carry current at 110% load of 62.5 KVA with three phasee and half netural colour coded, pre-wired with copper flexible cable, all as specified with the following accessories, control cable from Gen set to AMF panel-

(a) 125 Amps, 3 pole contactor - 2 nos (b) 100 Amps TP contactor for neutral for both supplies

(b) MCCB, 4 Pole 125 Amps, 25 KA-2 nos for both supplies

(c) CTs for both the supplies

(d) Ammeter (Digital)

(e) Voltmeter (Digital)

(f) Push buttons

(g) Indication Lamps

(h) 2 over load+ earth leakage relay

(i) Multi functional digital meter for KWH,KVA,KW, Amps, volts, frequency, power factor etc

(j) SMPS Battery charger 12v, with trickle & Boost charging for Generator battery charging

(k) On/ off switch

(l) Automatic / manual swich

(m) Hooter

(n) voltage sensing relay

(o) Six window anunciator for fault indications

(p) Electro magnetic relays

D. Acoustic enclosure: Enclosure is trolley mounted factory built and modular in construction to facilitate easy assembly at work site and will be drop over housing type. It will consist of acoustically treated panel housed in sheet steel will provide easy access for maintenance, repairs and operation. The enclosure is custom built to suit conditions, with the following features:-

(i) Custom built product for various equipments, with ensure the optimum preformance without duration.

(ii) Rugged in construction maintenance free and modular designs which facilitate easy at site.

(iii) As per CPCB norms, thickness of CRCA sheet to be used for enclosure panel to ensure longer life against weathering action. High quality acoustic insulation materials to be used as per IS 8183 for maximum sound absorption. Acoustic layers are supported by perforated sheets .

(iv) Sheet metal components of the enclosure should undergo various stages of surface treatment prior to painting which leads to be better life of the enclosure against weathering action.

(v) Special paint treatment with with pure polyester powder / epoxy to be provided for better weather resistance.

(vii) For effective acoustic / weather sealing a special type weather sealing gaskets, new frame rubber gaskets to used.

(viii) Working space is to be provide around the equipment for easy maintenance / repairs.

(ix) Necessary cut out provision for entry and exist of fuel lines cable to be incorporated in the enclosure as per the requirement.

(x) A see through transparent window ( glass or acrylic) in front of engine panel to provided for monitoring the operation.

(xi) Ducting if required, bellows, mechanical hardware like locks, hinges fasteners etc to be provided.

(xii) Deliverables. 75 DBA @ 1mtr at 75% load under free field conditions. The temp inside the enclosure will be within as per manufacturers recommendations above ambient temp.

(xiii) The enclosure should be provided with bulk head light fitting for inside illumination

(xiv) The battaries should be placed inside the enclosure beside the DG set on a suitable insulated plat form.

(xv) the DG set should be provided with external Emergency stop push buttom.

(xxv) The accoustic enclosure parts shall be of powder coated after pre treat ment process. The powder coating shade should be Genset Green. The base frame should be painted with epoxy based black shade. , Make for AMF PANEL:- DG SET OEM , Make for ACCOUSTIC PANEL :- DG SET OEM i.e JAKSON , Make of DG Set:- Auth OEM OF CUMMINS /CATERPILLAR

The following itmes are deemed to be included in the rate quoted for all DG sets:-

(i) DHPP for testing purpose shall be supplied by the contractor without any extra cost to Govt.

(ii) The contractor shall arrange for artificial load for testing for final testing fo DG Set at site and the cost is deemed to be including in above offer.

(iii) Testing of sound level should carried out at the site in presence of AGE (I)/GE.

Supply &Fixing of 4 wheel trolly suitable for mounting of 62.5 KVA DG Set with 85x20 pneumatic type tyre of make CEAT /MRF/MODI with tube ,hub,axel,and mechanical break system stop lever indicating suspension system (leaf spring type) facitity of taking hook appximate speed 20-40KM per hour and framed by MS channel of size not less than 100x50x6 mm including necessary welding and febrication works front and rear side standing Jacks with locking arrengment cable drum rotating type arrengment and provisioning of tool box suitable tools etc.along with the following tools/accessoriesall as directed at site requirment stepney tyre and arrangement of locks.

Supply & Fixing XLPE(Heavy duty) electric cables with Aluminium conductor 1100 Volts grade cross sectional area of size 50 sq mm 3.5 Core all as specified and directed. cable drum all as specified and directed.
