Preparation of GAD, Detailed design for foundation, sub-structure of viaduct span of ROB/RUB and approach spans, Design of Reinforced Earth Retaining Wall etc. as provided in Scope of Work as per relevant IR, BIS, IRC and other codes for the option of ROB/RUB alignment/span selected by Employer: This item includes: (i) Integrated Key Plan of entire ROB/RUB alignment covering railway portion, takeoff and landing approaches, arrangements of ROB/RUB approaches with NHAI/other roads department will be developed and included in GAD as per the Technical Requirement mentioned in the SCC. (ii) Preparation of GADs as per check list of SC Railway and codal provision. (iii) Preparation of preliminary and detailed design of foundation substructure, Superstructure including staircase, approach slab (wherever applicable) & Good for construction drawings (GFC Drawings) and all other drawing as required for construction of Railway portion of the ROB and both approaches. (iv) Submission of proof checked detailed design and Good for Construction Drawings for foundation, substructure, superstructure (if non- RDSO span is adopted), reinforced earth wall and retaining wall. (v) The detailed design 1 of super structure will be further governed as per para (iv) of deliverable in part -1 chapter -III. (vi) Preparation of bill of quantity (BOQ), detailed estimate, technical specifications and tender document as per preliminary design and drawings. (vii) Checking of design /drawing submitted by contractor for bearing, launching scheme, temporary arrangement drawing etc , if required. (viii) Technical support for getting approval from Railway /CRS including approval of temporary staging and launching scheme if required. (ix) Designer support during construction of ROB/RUB including site visit as per requirement of SCR. This will include modification in design / drawings as and when required. The rates are all inclusive and will be paid after load test is finished and girder is cleared of the kentledges/loading material etc. The load shall be 1.25 times the stipulated design load.

For Span design load up to 100 MT Providing and fixing in position GI Drainage Spouts of required length with Grating in RCC slab and filling bitumen along kerb as shown in drawing with contractor's pipes, bitumen, tools, equipment, lead, lifts etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer in-charge.

Extra over item no. 082011 for each additional average Each lead of 50m or part thereof when total average lead exceeds 50m, but up to 250m. Note: This item may be used only in exceptional circumstance under prior order on record.

Boxing and profiling of ballast as per procedure TRM prescribed in latest edition of IRPWM including cess dressing on both sides of track. The work will include removing excess ballast from track and putting the same in crib and shoulder by leading to a maximum of 50m including crossing of track, deweeding on ballast section etc and as directed by Engineer-In charge. Manufacturing, supply and stacking of machine crushed Track Ballast conforming to RDSO Specification (IRS-GE- 1) with latest correction slips at Railway depot or nominated location. Note: Distance of nearest quarry mentioned in each sub-item is only for the purpose of selecting the items for preparation of estimates/tender schedule, based on the minimum distance between nearest quarry and centre of supply points and will not affect the selection of quarry during physical supply in any way till prescribed specification is met fully.

Opening of level crossing up to required width from Sqm centre line of track for replacement of sleepers by digging of pucca road surface up to bottom of sleeper, removing of ballast, muck etc., screening of ballast & stacking the same near level crossing and disposing of all debris, replacing the required sleeper duly packing the sleeper to make fit for normal traffic and closing of LC surface with screened ballast to original level by proper ramming and consolidation to smooth motarable surface as directed by engineer in-charge.

Metallizing of steel work of girders with sprayed aluminium after surface preparation by Sand/grit blasting, followed by one coat of etch primer (IS:5666) & one coat of Zinc Chrome primer (IS:104) and two coats of aluminium paint (IS:2339) with all labour, T&P and material as a complete job duly conforming to all relevant specifications and process given under Clause 39 of IRS-B1-2001. Note: Nominal Thickness of sprayed Aluminium coating shall be 150 microns. DFT of Zinc chrome primer shall be 25-30 microns and DFT of each coat of Aluminium paint shall be 12-14 microns.
