SCHEDULE 'A' B/R WORKS

Material and labour for preparation of black top surfaces of old bitumen road and premixed macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brush for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned suraces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack with bituminous primer @ 5 Kg/10 Sqm using paving bitumen all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for Bituminous semi dense asphaltic concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness with minimum 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with paving bitumen of VG-30 using mechanical paver(with 7% of bitumen replaced by shredded waste plastic) complete all as specified and as directed by the Enginner-in-Charge.

Material and labour for repairs to pot holes any depth n. exc 1.00Sqm each incl sweeping free dust mud or water scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc, cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5Kg per 10 Sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam well rammed depth of pot holes exc 30 mm but n exc 50mm complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for moorum /red bajri filling in berms or paving, spread thickeness 100mm, spread, levelled and rammed including watering complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for preparing the surface and applying 2mm thick road marking/paints (retro reflective of shade/colour approved by GE using hot thermoplastic material (to standard temp with gas) @ 6.5Kg/Sqm and glass beads @ 250gm/Sqm by fully semi automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe ,glass bead dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe driven by experienced operator on road surface complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fix road stud of size 132 x 122 x 81 mm with a shank of size 42.5 x42.5 x62 mm aluminium body 100% water proofing design confirm to IP-67 complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix for road reflective studs cat's eye model 290 series made of ABS plastic of size 90mm x 107 mm x 17mm dynamically designed to with stand very highly impact strength and fitted with 2 Nos highly reflective reflector complete all as specified fixed as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for applying evenly a priming / tack coat with paving bitumen (cold emulsion) @10 Kg/10 Sqm complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for applying evenly a priming / tack coat with paving bitumen (cold emulsion) @ 5 Kg/10 Sqm complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix the bump having ABS size 425 x 500 x 75mm height including installing by drilling the surface and fixing with resin & hardner pre coloured material(black/yellow)and UV stabilizers keep them perpetually colourful, studded with reflectors on either side, they are clearly visible to the motorists during night hours complete adhesive all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.Make:-3M/Dark eye

Material and labour for premix bituminous mecadam using binder content as paving bitumen (VG-30 Grade) @4% (minimum) by weight of total mix, laid/ rolled and compacted to required gradient and chamber (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
