REPAIRS TO POTHOLES, RECARPETING OF ROAD AND REPLACEMENT OF ROAD FURNITURE AND THERMOPLASTIC PAINT IN DOMESTIC AREA AT AFS TEZPUR

SCHEDULE 'A' PART-I (B/R PORTION)

M&L for repair to potholes of any depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sqm using paving bitumen of grade VG- 30, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sqm using paving bitumen of grade VG- 30, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) depth of potholes exc 30 mm rolled and compacted with 8-10 ton power roller complete all as specified and as directed.

Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire bruses for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with mechanical air compressor to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen VG-30 @ 5 kg per 10 sqm over existing black top surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete (SDAC) 40 mm consolidated thickness using 5.5% paving bitumen content (VG-30) and minimum 2% cement as filler by weight of total mix, using hot mix plant and laid with self propelled mechanical paver fixed with electronic sensor and hydraulic controls, rolled and compacted with 8 to 10 tonne power roller to uniform surfaces with required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed. Note: - Semi Dense asphaltic bituminous concrete shall be designed as specified and binder contents shall be provided as per design mix.

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exc 400 sqm and depth exceeding 50 mm but not exceeding 100 mm and removing debries to a distance n.exc 50m and staking complete all as specified and as directed.

Premix bituminous, macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using 8 to 10 tonne power roller consolidated to average compacted thickness 50 mm using binder content bitumen of grade VG-30 @ 4% by weight of total mix cpmplete all as specified and as directed. Note:-The bituminious mix shall be prepared in hot mix plant and transported to the site in clean vehicle and shall be laid by means of a self-propelled mechanical paver finisher with electronic sensor and hydraulic controls all as directed.

M & L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repairs cat eye glow studs of size 100 x 100 x 18.5/20 mm made of heavy body confirming to IRC-67-1977 of moulded ASA (acrylic styrene acryloretrite) or HIP (high impact polystryne) or ABS having electronically welded micro-prismatic lens with abrasion resistant coating as approved by GE. The studs shall be fixed to the road surface using the adhhesive conforming to IS, as per manufacturers recommendation complete all as directed. Make : DARK EYE, Model : DA 978 / OSCAR , Model No: OS 776 or equivalent Model of Make 3M/ENNIS/Green Lite.

S&F metal tubular dealineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B1 complete with and including excavation, return filling and removal as required complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repairs speed bump (speed breaker) made of heavy duty ABS body with high resistance wear & tear property, US stabilized bacl and yellow coloured, high reflective reflectoe having length 500mm, width 400mm and 75mm height, coloured, fixed on groundwith necessery bolts as recommended by manufacturer including hollow space of speed bump to be filled with PCC 1:2:4, type B0 complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in repair Road safety convex mirror of dia 800mm, made of poly carbonate injections moulding plastic body with brackets and holding down pipe of 50mm dia of 900mm length suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. The poly carbonate front has flexibility to resist crack during hot weather complete all as specified and directed.
