Amount

Demolition of cement concrete in ground floors and pavings not exceeding 15cm thickness (below or above ground level), around taxi lights, etc. and disposing off demolished material to a distance exceeding 1.5km and not exceeding 5km complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for cutting damaged / broken edges along dummy / construction / expansion joints using saw/suitable cutter, removing rubbish / refuse outside MD land and depositing where directed, cleaning the surfaces with air blowers and applying self levelling elastomeric concrete duly finished by means of trowel, mats, etc. over a coat of elastomeric primer complete all as specified and as directed Notes: (i) Work shall be got executed through autorised applicator of the manufacturer of elstomeric concrete as approved (ii) Due care shall be taken in not damaging existing surfaces in the process. Any such damages caused shall be made good without any extra cost

M&L for demolition of cement concrete (PQC) of existing unreinforced slabs or rigid pavements / portions of any description and in any position of runways, etc. removing rubbish / refuse to a distance exceeding 1.5km and not exceeding 5km and depositing where directed complete all as specified and as directed Notes: (i) Work shall be executed very carefully to check any damage to adjoining existing surfaces. Any such damages caused shall be made good without any extra cost (ii) The cost of repair of any surfacing cracks in existing adjoining surfaces / locations during demolition shall be filled in as per relevant specifics and IS.

M&L for plain cement concrete type B-1,1:2:4 (using 20mm graded stone aggregates) in plinths of taxi tracks and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, etc. including finishing surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for providing lean cement concrete of grade M-15 (design mix) using 20mm graded aggregate with minimum cement content 250kgs/cum volume incluidng spreading and consolidating complete all as specified and as directetd

S&F in location Engineering plastic signage boards / link boards, single sided, with writings / signs / arrows with retro-reflective sheetings of approved type and colour, made of hard plastic or perplex sheet 4 to 5mm thick of approved colour and type, duly framed in with aluminium strip of suitable sizes as required, mounted up on adequate number of legs of minimum height of 3'6" made out of specialised frangible material, weather proof, suitable to withstand extreme cold, extreme heat and high velocity wind pressure, etc. complete all as specified and as directed of the following sizes: Notes: (i) Quoted rate shall be inclusive of the following: (a) Excavations for post holes (of min size 400x400x600mm) in any type of soil as required at site, including filling in and removal of excess soil (b) Duly embedding legs of boards into PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates upto GL (ii) Writings / alphabets / letters / dashes / arrows, etc. shall be of different sizes, types, etc. as per requirement of AF Authorities.

M&L for providing clean dry coarse sand uniformly graded, spread and levelled in layers 20mm thick (compacted thickness) over existing pavement, etc. complete all as specified and as directed Note: Only compacted thickness of sand shall be considered for measurement purposes

M&L for pavement quality concrete (PQC) of flexural stength 45kg/sqcm in field using 410kg/cum of concrete (with maximum size of coarse aggregate upto 40mm) as per mix design, with incorporation of non-circular polyestor fibre @ 1.0kg/cum of PQC, including all necessary formwork for laying in bays as shown on drawings complete all as specified and as directed Notes: (i) Airfield drawing shall be referred at office of the GE (AF) Ambala (ii) Construction / contraction / expansion joints shall be measured and paid separately under respective items herein (iii) Volume of concrete shall be deduced excluding joints (iv) The quantity of cement and synthetic fibre to be used in concrete specified hereinabove is minimum. Any deviation on the plus side as per design mix and site conditions shall be catered without any extra cost to the Govt. (v) Polyster non-circular fibre shall be measured and paid separately as 'supply only' under relevant item herein

Supply only virgin triangular mono-filament polyester fibre 12mm long with circum-circle diameter 30-35micron, designed for melting point of 240-260oC and having specific gravity 1.34 to 1.39, aspect ratio <360 complete all as specified

M&L for finishing concrete roads / pavements, etc. by brooming complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for polythene film 400micron thick, white colour, wear resistant, water proof, laid over sand layer including all necessary cutting overlaps not less than 300mm complete all as specified and as directed Note: Sand bed shall be measured and paid separately under respective item herein

M&L for forming contraction joints (dummy joints) 100mm deep x 8mm wide in PQC slab using diamond cutter, etc. and cleaning, removing dirt / loose foreign materials, etc. with compressor air blower and filling with polyurethane joint sealant compound using mechinical means to a depth of 10mm (depth minimum above back up rod) including two coats of primer and providing approved quality closed cell polythene backup rod of dia 25% more than the width of joint placed over and including joint filler board (cost shall be included) in position, applying masking tape on edge of joint to prevent accidental slippage of sealant on top surfaces and to give a neat finish to the sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied as required, etc. complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for forming construction joints 100mm deep x 10mm wide in PQC slab using diamond cutter, etc. and cleaning, removing dirt / loose foreign materials, etc. with compressor air blower and filling with polyurethane joint sealant compound using mechinical means to a depth of 10mm (depth minimun above back up rod) including two coats of primer and providing approved quality closed cell polythene backup rod of dia 25% more than the width of joint placed over and including joint filler board (cost shall be included) in position, applying masking tape on edge of joint to prevent accidental slippage of sealant on top surfaces and to give a neat finish to the sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied as required, etc. complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for forming expansion joints 20mm wide in PQC slab upto 20mm thick and cleaning, removing dirt / loose foreign materials, etc. with compressor air blower and filling with polyurethane joint sealant compound to a depth of 10mm (depth minimun above back up rod), applying bond breaker tape on top of filler, including two coats of primer and providing approved quality closed cell polythene backup rod of dia 25% more than the width of joint placed over and including joint filler board (cost shall be included) in position, applying masking tape on edge of joint to prevent accidental slippage of sealant on top surfaces and to give a neat finish to the sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied as required, etc. complete all as specified and as directed

Notes for item Nos. 48, 49 & 50: (i) Minimum Movement Accommodation Factor (MAF) shall be +30% conforming to the requirments as stipulated in BS:5212, BS-4254 and EN-141875-2003 (ii) Hydrolysis / water resistence test shall be catered as per relevant IS (iii) Joints made and filled as above shall bear a performance guarantee of minimum 10years from the date of completion. The Contractor has to submit the said guarantee in Rs. 100 non-judicial stamp paper to the AO. (iv) An amount @10% of the cost of joint filling shall be retained from the final bill till completion of above guarantee period. The Contractor may submit FDR of equal amounts in favour of the AO for the purpose (iv) Filling work shall be done as per manufacturer's instructions and as specified

M&L for taking out of old sealing compound grade 'B', etc. and cleaning, removing dirt / loose foreign materials, etc. with compressor air blower from any type of joints and of any thickness and any depth of taxi tracks and runways with a raker, coir brush, etc. and filling joint with polyurethane joint sealant compound using mechinical means to a depth of 10mm (depth minimun above back up rod) including two coats of primer and providing approved quality closed cell polythene backup rod of dia 25% more than the width of joint placed over existing joint filler board in position, applying masking tape on edge of joint to prevent accidental slippage of sealant on top surfaces and to give a neat finish to the sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied as required, etc. complete all as specified and as directed for the following widths of joints: Notes: (i) Minimum Movement Accommodation Factor (MAF) shall be +30% conforming to the requirments as stipulated in BS:5212, BS-4254 and EN-141875-2003 (ii) Hydrolysis / water resistence test shall be catered as per relevant IS (iii) Joints dismantled, cleaned and filled as above shall bear a performance guarantee of minimum 10years from the date of completion. M&L for taking out old sealing compound from any type of joints of size upto 20mm wide and 20mm depth, cleaning with air compressor to remove all loose particle, dust, etc. priming the joints with primer and filling the joints with sealing compound grade 'B' and removing all rubbish/refuse to a distance exceeding 100m and not exceeding 500m complete all as specified and as directed

M&L in repair to cracks of existing bituminous surfaces of taxi tracks by cutting to a width of 10 to 25mm and 30 to 50mm deep by mechanical cutters, etc. cleaning with air compressor to remove all loose particle, dust, etc. and filling with epoxy tar compound as per manufacturer's instructions and disposing all rubbish/ refuse to a distance exceeding 50m but not exceeding 100m complete and all as specified and directed

M&L for repairs to damaged / broken edges of existing cement concrete slabs of taxi tracks by cutting to a depth 10 to 50mm, cleaning with air compressor to remove all loose particle, dust, etc. and applying evenly a coat of epoxy rich primer with sealer and filling in with epoxy resin compound and disposing all rubbish/ refuse to a distance exceeding 50m but not exceeding 100m complete all as specified and as directed
