Notes for all items of BOQ:- 1. The contractor should visit the site before quoting the tender to know the working condition of the station. 2. All requisite safety measures are to be adopted by contractor on site. 3. The contractor shall provide and deploy sufficient electrician ( as approved by GE/ Engineer in charge) shall report at 9.00 hrs to JE E/M / Engineer in charge to collect the complaints job card in working days and complete the same complaint within 24 Hrs. 4. The complaints shall be rectified within 24 hrs if the complaints is/are not attended / not completed with in 24 hrs ( except repair/ replacement of major items) recovery will be done at Rs. 500 per complaint per day. 5. For major parts like replacement of MCB, DBs, MCCBs etc should be rectified within 3 working days, if the contractor not rectify within time then recovery will be done at Rs. 1000 per complaint per day. 6. After completion of Job work complaint, the contractor has to produce job card duly signed by user & JE /Engineer in charge. 7. If contractor failed to provide their electrician to attend the complaints then recovery will be done at Rs. 1000 per day. 8. The Contractor should procure minimum 50% of the materials for all items as per BOQ (other than paints) mentioned in this CA within 20 days after getting sample approval and kept in safe custody so that no delay in work due to non-availability of materials will be faced. Contractor should ensure during the cause of work that he has minimum 25% of materials with him till the completion of work. If contractor fail to complete the work within contract due to lack of fittings, a penalty of 20% shall be applicable on quoted rates by the contractor. 9. In repair works, rate quoted for demolition/dismantling/taking down is deemed to be inclusive of removing the same from site and dumped outside INA Ezhimala. 10. The contracts involving working at elevated locations of buildings, contractor should ensure proper safety arrangements as per norms. Wearing safety belts and helmets are mandatory. A penalty of Rs 1000 per day will be recovered from contractor if safety norms are not followed. 11. After completion of work, no stores/debris/loose items be kept at work site or dumped inside INA. Entire area to be cleared and waste material be taken outside INA.

Taking down carefully copper/ aluminium point wiring (light, fan and power socket etc) complete including fittings such as switches ceiling roses, pendent, regulators, sockets, etc including making good the existing disturbed surface using wall putty and matching colour emulsion paint complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for color code point wiring FRLS PVC insulated and unsheathed cable with 1.5 sqmm copper conductor single core multistandred 1100 volt grade conforming to IS 694 drawn through PVC casing and capping suitable size modular metal flush box/PVC box fitted with modular cover plate with frame (inner/ outer plate) for mounting switches,sockets,regulators etc including FRLS 1.5 sqmm earth wire copper insulated connected to common earth dolly including making good the existing disturbed surface using wall putty and matching colour emulsion paint complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes:- (i) Necessary PVC rigid junction boxes for identifying junction as required on site/directed by Engineer in charge for point wiring work with PVC dummy plates shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (ii) Same size wire shall be used for phase, neutral and earth conductor. (iii) The wiring shall be done strictly by following proper colour coding using red , blue, yellow for phase, black for neutral and green for earth leads. (iv) Size of copper earth wire must be equal to size of current carrying conductor upto size 16 sqmm.

(a) One light/ fan point controlled by one switch

(b) One 3 pin socket outlet 5 Amps on the same board with other switches

(c) 5 Amps socket point on independent board

All as per item No.03 here in above but 2.5 sqmm for 15 Amps socket on independent board complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Taking down and refix after completion of job works for ceiling fan / exhaust fan / wall mounted fan of any sweep and make by disconnecting the electric connection, dismantling blades, down rods etc for checking and replacing the unserviceable parts complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note:- Unserviceable spare parts shall be measured and paid seperately under relevent items of BOQ.

M&L for checking / replacing the worn out parts such as rubber pulley, locking pin, nuts and washer of ceiling fan any size complete with one coat of synthetic enamel white paint by spraying after cleaning all dust etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for painting exhaust fan of any sweep complete with one coat of synthetic enamel suitable paint by spraying after cleaning all dust etc complete all as specified an directed by Engr-in-Charge.
