Amount

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil for laying of under ground cable including taking out old brick protection cover complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 250mm in soft/loose soil, complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated materials (soil) not exc. 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5 m above from starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for sand cushioning with clean and dry river sand for protection of PVC cable with approved sand of uniform thickness. laid dry, filling in trenches and punning down in proper required layers complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Punned down thickness shall be measured for payment.

Materials and labour for brick protection cover to underground cables with sub class ‘B’ of size 23 X 11.5 X 7.5 cm, (locally available best quality), laid dry and flat abutting Each other with gaps not exceeding 10mm complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 5.00 here in before but except brick and -ditto-. Note: Servicicable brick shall be reused obtained from item No 1.00.

Taking down / out un-serviceable or serviceable LT UG Cables of size 6/16 sqmm and connections, laid in trenches and / or fixing with walls / poles complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Earth work shall be measured and paid separately under respective items.

Supply and fix in repair loop in loop out junction box of size 300 x 200 x 110 mm made out of 1.6mm thick SMC sheet weather proof dust and vermin proof with hinged door and locking arrangements with slanting cover on top and provision of 04 nos aluminium bus bar of size 20 x 5 mm fixed on insulator and one MCB of capacity 10 Amp complete fixed on pole with and including suitable size MS flat iron clamp nut , bolt and washers of suitable size etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair 25 mm dia HDPE pipe of pressure rating 10 kgf/cm2 for passing of cable through PCC foundation from trench to cable junction box and also for protection of security light cable from junction box to light fitting with necessary clamp nuts and bolts complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for loop digging of the existing cable, remove the burnt cable and after dressing the cable fixing with proper lugs and connecting to the Junction box/ LT feeder pillar complete all as specified and directed

Supply, laying, connecting and testing XLPE insulated, PVC sheathed, armoured LT electric power UG cable (heavy duty with stranded aluminum conductor) of size 16 Sqmm, 4 core, 1100 Volts grade, confirming to IS-7098 (Part-I) laid through duct/ pipe / in trench etc. with cable glands & suitable size of aluminium lugs complete all as specified and directed. Note : Earth work, brick protection and sand cushioning and GI Pipe Shall be measured and paid separately under respective item.

Supply, laying, or fixing or passing through pipe, connecting and testing XLPE insulated, PVC sheathed, armoured LT electric power UG cable (heavy duty with stranded aluminum conductor) of size 6 Sqmm, 2 core, 1100 Volts grade, confirming to IS-7098 (Part-I) laid through duct/ pipe / in trench or fixed on wall etc. with cable glands & suitable size of aluminium lugs etc complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (a) This item shall be used to replace old unserviceable cable of Hanger/Tower and wind shock aviation light. (b) When cable is required to run through wall it shall be properly fixed with saddle and which cost shall be included in the quoted rates.

Materials and labour for boring of holes of size up to 50mm dia under road without disturbing the top surface of the road and taxiway for passing through the cable complete all as specified and directed Note-Necessary infrastructure required for boring shall by arranged by the contractor and cost of the same included in quoted rates.

Supply and fix in repair galvanised iron pipe 40mm bore (light grade) for protection of cable, laid in trenches / floors / fixing on wall / pole complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair galvanised iron pipe 25mm bore (light grade) for protection of cable, laid in trenches / floors / fixing on wall / pole complete all as specified and directed.

Materials and labour for steel tubular swaged poles, type 410 SP 31 (overall length 9.00 meter) conforming to IS-2713 (Part 1 to 3) 1980 complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts and washers, screws. Pole shall be painted with two coats of black bituminous paint throughout internally and externally upto planting depth and the remaining external portion shall be painted with two coats of aluminum paints over a coat of red oxide primer, painting black & yellow alternate strips of 30cm each externally from ground level upto 1.2m with synthetic enamel paint, numbering of poles including taking down old unserviciable existing pole complete all as specified and directed.
