Notes for items No 1.00 to 8.00:- (i) Control switches such as MCCB, Main switch, contactors, multi display meter and engine control unit shall be out of scope of the item of work and the rate quoted shall exclusive of servicing/ maintenance of the above said fittings. (ii) Servicing of DG Set along with connected Alternator and AMF Panel Board including 'A' Check of the Engine shall be carried out once in every 15 days (Except during the month when 'B' check is carried out) as directed by the Engineer-in-charge and the Contractor shall carry out periodical inspections during the maintenance period and he shall be responsible for the smooth functioning of the DG set for a period of 30 days from the date of service and shall also attend all the maintenance works as and when required in that period except in case of Major repairs.( List DG as 20KVA-9Nos, 25KVA-2Nos, 35KVA-1Nos, 40 KVA-3Nos, 62.5KVA-1Nos, 82.5KVA-2Nos, 100KVA-2 Nos , 160 KVA-1 Nos)

(ii) Serviceaing of AMF panel shall included with cleaning of dust inside with blower, cleaning of moving part /contacts from CT cleaner, tightening of loose parts /electrical wires, cleaning of contractors, relays and junction points, servicing/ adjustment of relay, complete testing of AMF relay with necessary settings and load management system complete with replacement of worn out unserviceable components /burnt wires thimbles /lugs complete tested automatic start the DG set on mains fails in presence of MES rap. (iii) Spare parts required for replacement during the maintenance period shall be measured and paid separately at supply only rates and cost of labour for fixing these spares shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted for this item. (iv) Cost of all consumables required during the maintenance period shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted for this item. (v) List of checks to be carried out under 'A' check is attached as Appendix 'A' to the Particular specifications.

Note: (i) The contrcator will deploy a team for eacheach DG set at darjipura to test the resistance value of earthings in each zone to complete the process within one month. The entire process will be repeated after every six months (half yearly) upto completion of the contract. (ii) one earthing testing in one season is measured one job. (iii) Digital Earth tester will be arrenge by the contractor his own. (iv) Date of testing and due date of testing is to be written on a register with sign of user rep & Engr-in Charge . (iv) Testing and correction action is to be done within one month from date of commencement . earthings is to be completed within one month. Thereafter on half yearly basis or as directed byEngr-in charge and same is to be completed within one month.The contractor has to deploy electrician with helper and testing equipment and all the resources to complete the task within one month. (v) If any material required for improvement of resistence value which value is more than their permissible limit will be measured and paid seperately.
