Supports Best Country wood size of 2" x only 2" size with 5 horizontal supports & one Vertical support of 2" x 3". Side Rails - Best Indian teak Wood of size 2" x 6° with neat approved design. Gap from door level to bo¥om of side rails (on either sides, leg & head board) shall not be less than 6". Leg Rail - Best Indian teak Wood of size 2” x 6” with neat approved design. Head Rail -Best Indian teak wood frame of size 3” x 2" all round / top and bottom with neat approved design. Inside the frame, 18 mm BWR / BWP grade ply wood confirming to IS 303 & ISI marked with teak veneering using 3 Ply - 4 mm thich One side Teak Veneer Decorated Plywood (IS:1328) shall be placed. Bed top shall be of 12 mm BWR / BWP grade ply wood confirming to IS 303 & ISI marked.

Lipping may be provided wherever required / as per execution and as per the approved design / as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Legs shall be made of Best Indian teak Wood of 3” x 3" in approved shape & design (aesthetically good looking shape).The 2" x 2" horizontal supports should be resting on the side rails duly making proper groove in both the side rails and the same should properly rest on the vertical support, which in turn to be supported with good supporting made in both leg rail and Head rail and proper arrangement also to be made so that the mattress is fit into the Cot within the side rails (i.e. in between the side rails) Finishing: The surface shall be waxed, french polished. Clear lacquer melamine resin based paint when used shall be applied according to the manufacturets instructions. For supports, Zinc Primer coat shall be applied. The wood used shall be seasoned timber. The wood used shall confirm to IS:1331-1977 / preservative treatment as specified in IS:401- 1982 shall be given to the concealed components of non-durable wood and sap wood of durable timber.

Assembly: The various components shall be assembled by means of bed fittings, bolts and nuts or screws, securely fixed under pressure. The rate is inclusive of all taxes and other incidental charges, conveyance to works site, fixing charges etc., complete but exclusive of GST. Supply of foam mattresses of overall size of 72" x 78" x 6" with sandwich Technology, top layer 25 mm thick with polyurethane foam of min 28 density as per ISI standards ( Indentation Hardness @ 40% deflection ≥ 30 Kgf ), 2nd layer 25 mm thick of softy polyurethane foam of min 28 density, 3rd layer 10 mm thick with Bonded foam, 4th layer 55 mm thick with PU hard foam,5th layer 10mm thick with Bonded foam and 6th layer 25 mm thick with polyurethane foam of 28 density as per ISI standards ( Indentation Hardness @ 40% deflection ≥ 30 Kgf ). All these 6 layers are to be covered with Kora Cotton cloth of 110 gsm at all sides. The weight of mattresses should be of 22.36 kg minimum. Each mattresses should be printed “TTD”, month and year of supply on outer Rexine cover and should be identical. The total mattresses should be covered with “State Transport Rexine Cover”.

Note: 1) State Transport Rexine cover should be with respect to the following standards. Colour: Blue / Green, base fabric : Synthetic blend white / blue / black base. Appearance as per IS:1259 shall have uniform surface finish, flexible & free from moulding defects such as blisters, bubbles, pinholes, creases or streaks and shall be reasonably free from foreign matter. The edge shall be smooth and free from cuts. Thickness as per IS:7016 is 0.30 mm and above. Weight of finished fabric is 400 gm / sqm. Breaking strength : warp – 50 kgf, weft – 40 kgf, adhesion of coating as per IS:1259. The piles shall not be separated under load of 2.75 kg. Gelling test as per IS:8698 shall not show any sign of cracks. Resistance to heat and loss of mass of coating on heating as per IS:1259 shall not show sign of exudation or stickiness. The loss of mass shall be not greater than 4 percent. 2) The rate is inclusive of all taxes and other incidental charges etc., complete but exclusive of GST. The mattress are to be provided in NGRH 1,2,3 & 4 or any other room at Tirumala including conveyance and placing at site as directed by the Department. 3) The relevant IS codes for polyurethane foam are IS:7933, IS:7888. Supply of hollow conjugate polyester fibre pillows of over all size 17 inches x 27 inches along profile filling with HBPL-1 (High Bulk Pillow, Grade -1) fibre (7D, 64 mm) filling weight not less than 650 grams net, the fabric should be 110 gsm etc., the rate including all taxes exclusive of GST and other incidental charges etc., complete

Supply of rubberised coir mattresses of over all size 30" x 72" x 6" with sandwich Technology, top layer 28 mm thick with polyurethane foam of min 28 density as per ISI standards ( Indentation Hardness @ 40% deflection > 30 Kgf ), 2nd layer 33 mm thick with rubberised coir sheet made with Needle felt technology of 80-99 density categorised as “Extra firm” by using virgin coconut fibre and – Natural Rubber Latex, as per IS standards. After flexing test of 2,50,000 strokes, Indentation Hardness difference should not be more than 20% (IS clause 6.1), 3 rd layer 60 mm thick with Highly Firm PU foam of min 28 density as per ISI standards ( Indentation Hardness @ 40% deflection > 40 kgf ), 4th layer 33mm thick with rubberised coir sheet of 80-99 density made with Needle felt technology as mentioned above. All these 4 layers are to be covered with Kora Cotton cloth of 110 gsm at all sides. The total mattresses should be covered with State transport Rexine cover. The coir mattresses should be standard and approved make best quality confirming to IS :8391 / 1987 and the density of coir should meet “Extra firm” standards. The weight of coir mattresses should be of 12.234 kg minimum. Each coir mattresses should be printed “TTD”, month and year of supply on outer Rexine cover and should be identical.
