Amount

Excavation in earthwork in hilly area all heights and depths, in all kind of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution, etc. and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation, including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, side slopes, width, camber, super-elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, in conformity with the requirement of technical specification for Rural Road, August, 2004 and clause 16.2 of General Conditions for Contract to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of material useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner i/c arrangement of dumping site, trimming, filling of unevenness, blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in charge for smooth riding. The recovery of useful stone that is 1051.13 cum. (One thousand fifty one point thirteen Cubic Metre) in all cases, failing which recovery @ Rupees 170/= only (Rupees one hundred seventy only) per cubic metre in all circumstances shall be effected on pro rata basis. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases.

Earth work in excavation for foundation of structure upto 3 mtrs depth as per drawing andtechnical specification clause 1104 including setting and construction of shoring and bracingremoval of stamps and other deleterious matteers dressing of sides and batten and back fillingith approved materials including all leads,lifts and carriage of materials as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge.

Providing and laying Plain Cement Concrete nominal mix 1:4:8{(one cement: four sand: eight graded stone aggregate nominal size}mechanically mixed and vibrated in sub structure or similar works complete as per drawings and technical specification of Ministry of Rural Development for rural roads August 2004 (Two thousand Four) C- 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 (Clause - Eight hundred Two, Eight hundred Three, One thousand Two hundred Two and One thousand Two hundred Three) and curing complete including the cost of form work and hauling /carriage of all labour equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge.

Providing weep holes in brick masonry/stone masonry, plain cement concrete abutment, wing walls ,return walls with 100 mm.(One Hundred) dia A.C.. pipe extended through the full width of the structure with slope of one in vertical and twenty in horizontal towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specification of Ministry of Rural Development for rural roads August 2004 (Two thousand Four) for rural road C- 614,709,1204.3.7 (Clause - Six hundred Fourteen, Seven hundred Nine, One thousand Tow hundred Four point Three point Seven) ),including hauling /carriage of all labour equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge.

Back filling in entire surface behind solid abutments, wing and return walls will be packed to a thickness of not less than 600 mm. (Six hundred millimeters) with smaller size towards the soil and bigger size towards the wall complete as per drawing and technical specification of Ministry of Rural Development for rural roads August 2004 (Two thousand Four),C- 1204.3.8 (Clause - One thousand Two hundred Four point three point four)and clause 710.1.4 (Seven hundred point One point Four) of Indian Road Congress 78 (Seventy Eight), including hauling /carriage of all labour equipment’s and materials to various locations through all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bond macadam specification including spreading in uniform thicknesses ,hand packing, rolling with three wheel 80-100 (Eighty-One hundred) kN static roller in stages to proper grade and camber .applying and brooming,crushable screening to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate ,watering and compacting to the required density G -2 (Grading-Two) as per technical specification of Ministry of Rural Development for rural roads August 2004 (Two thousand Four) for rural road C- 405 (Clause-Four hundred Five) , including hauling /carriage of all labour equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge.

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70-1.0kg/sqm (Zero Point Seven Zero - One Point Zero) kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Technical Specification Clause 502, (Clause Five Hundred Two) including carriage of all labour equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge.

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion (RS-I) using distributor @ 0.25 to 0.30 kg pre square metre on the prepared bitumen surface cleaned with hydraulic broom as per technical specification clause 503 , including hauling /carriage of all labour equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge.

Providing, laying and rolling of open graded premix carpet of 20 (Twenty) millimeters thickness composed of 13.2 (Thirteen point Two) millimeters to 5.6 (Five point Six) millimeters aggregates either bitumen VG-10 Grade to required line grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 (Eighty- One hundred) kN. Roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of either type-B as per technical specification of Ministry of Rural Development for rural roads August 2004 (Two thousand Four) for rural road C-508 (Clause – Five hundred Eight) , including hauling /carriage of all labour equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge.

Providing and laying seal coat sealing the voids in a bituminous (VG-10) surface laid to the specified levels, grades and cross fall using type-B and as per technical specification of Ministry of Rural Development for rural roads August 2004 (Two thousand Four) for rural road C-510 (Clause- Five hundred Ten) ) , including hauling /carriage of all labour equipment’s and materials to various locations through all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge.

Construction of subgrade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of Table 300.2with lead up to 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 303.1.

Construction of un-reinforced, dowel jointed at expansion and construction joint only, plain cement concrete pavement, thickness as per design, over a prepared sub base, with 43 grade cement or any other type as per Clause 1501.2.2 M30 (Grade), coarse and fine aggregates conforming to IS:383, maximum size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm, mixed in a concrete mixer of not less than 0.2 cum capacity and appropriate weigh batcher using approved mix design, laid in approved fixed side formwork (steel channel, laying and fixing of 125 micron thick polythene film, wedges, steel plates including levelling the formwork as per drawing), spreading the concrete with shovels, rakes, compacted using needle, screed and plate vibrators and finished in continuous operation including provision of contraction and expansion, construction joints, applying debonding strips, primer, sealant, dowel bars, near approaches to bridge/culvert and construction joints, admixtures as approved, curing of concrete slabs for 14days using curing compound (where specified) and water finishing lines and grade as per drawing and Technical specification clause 1501 (Clause One Thousand Five Hundred One ) including carriage of all labour equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge.

Construction of unlined surface drains of average cross sectional are 0.40 sqm in soil & oridinary rock to specified lines gradeslevels anddiamensions excavated materials to be used in embankment at site as per technical specification clause 307. in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge.

Providing and fixing of typical PMGSY informatory,sign boards with logo as per MORD Specification and drawing three ms plates of 1.6mm thick, top and middle plate duly welded with MS flat iron 25 mm x 5mm size on back on edges, the lower plate will be welded with MS angle iron frame of 25mm x 25mm x5mm. The angle iron frame of the lowermost plate and flate iron frame of middle plate will be welded two numbers 75mm x 75mm of 12 SWG sheet tubes posts duly embedded in cement concrete M-15 grade blocks of 450mm x 450mm x600mm, 600mm below ground level. The topmost diamond plate will be welded to middle plate by 47mm x47mm of 12 SWG steel plate tube. All M.S. will be stove enameled on both sides.Lettering and printing arrows,border extra will be painted with ready mixed synthetic enameled paint of superior qualty in required shade and colour.All sections of framed post and steel tubes will be painted with primer and two coats of epoxy paints as per drawing clause 1701 and annexure 1700.1including hauling /carriage of all labour equipment’s and materials to various locations through all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge.

Providing and erecting direction and place identifications of semi reflective sign boards as per IRC:67 made of 2mm thick MS sheet duly stove enameled paint in white colour in front and greycolour on back with red reflective border of 70mm width and required message letters,figures withreflective enginnering grade tape as per MORD specifications of required shade and colour supported and welded on 47X47mm of 12 SWG square tube of 3050mm height duly strengthenedby 25X5mm M/S flat iron on edge on back firmly fixed to the ground by means of properlydesigned foundation with M15 grade cement concrete 450X450X600mm below ground leve las per approved; drawing and technical specification clause 1701. including hauling /carriage of all labour equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge
