Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/manual means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth lead up to 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m, as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Ramming and watering of the earth in layers not exceeding 20 cm in trenches, plinth, side of foundation etc complete.
Providing and laying in position ready mixed plain cement concrete, with cement content as per approved design mix and manufactured in fully automatic batching plant/ self loading concrete truck mixture machine and transported to site of work in transit mixer for all leads, having continuous agitated mixer, manufactured as per mix design of specified grade for plain cement concrete work, including pumping of R.M.C. from transit mixer to site of laying and curing, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and finishing, including cost of curing, admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate/ retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.M-15 grade plain cement concrete (cement content considered @ 240 kg/cum)
Providing and laying in poistion machine batched and machine mixed design mix M-30 grade cement concrete for reinforced cement concrete work, using cement concrete as per approved design mix/ self loading concrete truck mixture machine including pumping of concrete to site of laying but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforecement, including admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate, retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. All work upto plinth level up to floor IV levels. Extra for providing richer mixes upto plinth and at all floor levels. (Note: Less cement used as per design mix is recoverable However no extra payment shall be made if excess cement is used as per deign mix). (Note:- Cement content considered in M-30 is @ 340 kg/cum)
Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work, where not included in the complete rate of RCC, including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position, binding, wastage, overlaps, welded joints, spacer bars, chairs, stays, hangers and annealed steel wire etc. complete in all respect below plinth level. Note:- Reinforcement shall be measured in length including hooks, if any, seperately for different diameter as actullay used in work, excluding overlaps. Wastage, overlaps, coupling, welded joints, spacer bars, chairs, stays, hangers and annealed steel wire or other methods of binding and placing shall not be measured and cost of these items shall be deemed to be included in the rates for reinforcements. Thermo mechanicallly treated bars of grade FE-500 D or more.
Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for : Walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, buttresses, plinth and string courses etc.

Steel work welded in built up sections/ framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer using structural steel etc. as required. In gratings, frames, guard bar, ladder, railings, brackets, gates and similar works.
