DIESEL GENERATOR

Supply,unloading, conveyance,installation, testing and commissioning 62.5 kVA trim rated DG set with acoustic enclosure and standard control panel, protection and digital metering controls CTs and suitable 4 pole mccb etc including antivibration mountings, residential type exhaust silencer and exhaust pipe confirming to latest environment protection regulation for emission and noise level complete with water / coolant cooled (radiator type) 4 stroke, electric start confirming to BS-5514, 62.5 / 63 prime rating, brush less, self- excited, self-regulated and suitable for continuous operation at 1500 rpm, generating 415V + / - 5% volt at 0.8 PF(lag) 50Hz 3Phase 4wire system generally confirming to BS-2613 & IS-4722 both engine and alternator shall be mounted on common channel iron base prime and with standard accessories such as lead acid batteries with engine driven battery charger along with leads, battery stand necessary control wiring with control cables, first fill of lubricating oil and earthing as per standards, fuel tank for 8hrs continuous operation, fuel piping from fuel tank to engine, residential silencer, suitable size cable termination box with extended alternator terminal with bus bae etc as required as per the specification. (the work should be as per electrical inspectorate / central pollution control board standards applicable at the time of delivery)

EXHAUST SYSTEM AND INSULATION

Charges for insulating silencer with mineral /glass wool and Aluminium cladding for generator of following capacity and shall meet noise emission standards of CPCB.

Supply and installation of exhaust piping complete with thermal insulation with mineral wool and Al cladding. MS pipe of suitable dia, heavy duty bend, flexible connector and supports.

EARTHING

Earthing with copper earth plate 600 mm X 600 mm X 3 mm thick including accessories, and providing masonry enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement and watering pipe of 2.7 meter long etc. with earthing compound as required.

EARTHING & LIGHTNING PROTECTION

EARTHING

Providing and fixing of maintenance free earthing system comprising of molecularly bonded copper of 99.9% purity on low carbon steel of 3m length, having a diameter of 20mm with copper bonding having thickness of minimum 250 microns with self-coupling peg & bore arrangement with fault current withstand capability of 20 kA rms value for 1 second and I peak of 50 KA. Universal Clamp made of SS 304 shall be used for clamping, with impact point on the bottom rod. Earth enhancing mineral compound used shall be mineral inert to sub soil, environment friendly and non corrosive to earth rod. The material should have a resistivity less than 0.2 Ωm. It should be free from hazardous substances The mineral compound is required to have minimum 20 Kg of the total composite. Polypropylene & Polyethylene Earth electrode inspection chamber with heavy duty cover should be used to cover the Earth Rod. The dimension shall be 170mmx 170mmx 170mm with a weight bearing capacity of 50KN.

LIGHTNING PROTECTION

Supply of 8 mm Aluminum Round Conductor complete as specified in drawing & Meets the requirements of DIN EN 50164-2 (VDE 0185 part 202) & VDE 0185-305 (IS/IEC 62305)

Supply of Roof conductor holder for sheet as specified in drawing , Bottom section & Conductor holder made of stainless steel (V2A) with Ø 8.5 mm slot at bottom @ every 1 mtr distance.

Providing of cross universal connector: For T and cross connection, to route vertical down conductor /mesh formation made of hot dipped galvanised iron with necessary screws etc as required. Installed with 4 hexagonal bolts M8*25 with M8 hexagonal nuts .

Providing of expansion piece with connector: For equalising temperature related length changes. Necessary on conductors length over 20 meters. For round conductor Rd 8/ALU.

Connector: For T cross and parallel connectors. Quick installation using hexagonal bolt M10X30 high-grade hot dip galvanised. Conforms to the requirements according to DIN VDE 0185-305 (IS-IEC 62305)(2nos/expansion piece ).

Down Conductor

Supply of Roof conductor holder for parapet- Polyamide Conductor holder: With M8 female thread or diameter 7mm, M8 Screw to connect the conductor holder. Weather and temperature resistant from -35 to +90 degree Celsius tested. Conductor holder @ 1 meter distance

Supply of Test Joint (Folding Clamp) suitable to connect 8mm round conductor and max by 30x3 mm GI strip as specified in drawing and directed by Engineer

Earthing

Supply of Galvanised Steel Flat 30X3 mm thickness from earth electrode directly in ground as required. Flat conductor shall be of Hot Dipped & Cross sectional area of 90mm square According to DIN EN 50164-2 (VDE 0185 part 202) Meets the requirement of VDE0185/305(IS-IEC 62305) Zinc coating: 500 g/m square (Approx :70 micron coating) Should be tested and used exclusively for lightning protection earthing system and ring equipotential bonding.

Providing of Cross connector for Flat: Suitable for 30mm Galvanised steel strip. Installed with 4 nos of hexagonal plate.

Providing of flat conductor holder suitable for FL 30. Installed with 2 hexagonal bolts.

Providing of Plastic Corrosion Protection strip: Approx 1.1 mm thick. Width 50mm. Made of petrolatum- coated chemical fibre fabric.

Supply of UL Listed & CPRI Tested maintenance free ,Low carbon copper coated earth rod of 3 metre electrode having diameter of 17.2 mm with copper coating thickness of 250micron tested as per IEC 62561-2 .

Universal clamp made of SS to connect rod with flat conductor .

Earth conductivity enhancing compound shall be of 25 kg/pit tested as per IEC 62561-7,TCLP tested.

The above arrangements shall be provided with Heavy duty earth champer of 5000kg load bearing capacity to ensure the safety of earthing system .
